So it's officially the last day of 2015. I actually can't believe how fast this year has gone. It's actually crazy. This year has been a year full of ups and downs and as it's become a tradition on my blog the past couple of years to do a end of year re-cap I thought I would end of this year by telling you about my 2015. This will be quite a long post so please grab a cup of tea, coffee, hot chocolate or even prosecco/champagne if you're having a wild New Years Eve like me.

2015 Re-Cap | Goodbye 2015, Hello 2016

So it's officially the last day of 2015. I actually can't believe how fast this year has gone. It's actually crazy. This year has been a year full of ups and downs and as it's become a tradition on my blog the past couple of years to do a end of year re-cap I thought I would end of this year by telling you about my 2015. This will be quite a long post so please grab a cup of tea, coffee, hot chocolate or even prosecco/champagne if you're having a wild New Years Eve like me.

Hey Everyone! So Christmas Day has officially been and gone! I can't believe how fast it came around. I hope you all had a wonderful day with your friends and family. This year I didn't celebrate Christmas on Christmas Day as both my parents were working. I was meant to be working too but work were lucky enough to give me a day off. Yay! However we celebrated Christmas properly on the 27th which included getting a few little extra presents and I had such a lovely day. I thought that today I would write my 'What I Got For Christmas' post today. I know this gets mixed reviews so before I started I'd just like to say I'm not writing this post to brag or show off. I just personally love writing these posts and reading them myself and I know a lot of other people out there like doing the same. We're all nosey nancys really. So here's what I got. I hope you enjoy reading it.

Sony Camera and Case

My main present off my Dad this year was this amazing video camera which I absolutely love. As most of you reading my blog know I have wanted to start up my youtube channel again for quite a while now but just haven't been able to gain enough confidence to do so. However I am going to Mauritius early next year and I am planning on doing some look book style videos without me sitting down and talking so hopefully that will help. But I was super happy with this present as I think it's such a lovely little gift. I also love the case it comes in as it means it will be super protected when I take it to Mauritius.

 Pandora, Avon & Homemade Jewelry

I can't believe that it's been a year since I got my Pandora bracelet. Since I got it last year I have received charms on my birthday and special occasions and I knew I was going to get another one for Christmas. This year I got this apple charm from my Mum which I absolutely love. I love how sparkly it is and it's perfect considering I love apples. I also received a Pandora ring from my brother with my birthstone on it which I think was so cute. I don't own many pandora rings so this will be another one to add to my collection. It's just so pretty. My Mum also gave me another ring too which I think is so cute.  Someone she works with made this for me and I absolutely love it as it means nobody else has the same one. It's so unusual and has a little heart charm daggling from it as well. Other jewelry I got includes this beautiful aqua colored necklace and earring set. I wore this on Sunday and it's just so super pretty. I love the fact it has a magnet clasp which is amazing as it means it's not to difficult to put on as I always struggle to put on necklaces. My aunt also got me some lovely jewelry from Avon. I got this lovely little necklace with my initial on which is so thoughtful and a some little earrings which form the shape of a Christmas tree which I absolutely love as I'm obsessed with stud earrings and own at least 250 pairs now. Oops.

Perfumes

Is it just me or are perfumes becoming ridiculously expensive? I never really tend to buy myself some during the year unless I absolutely have to purely because I know Christmas and my birthday are the two times of the year I get to stock up. I absolutely love this Ricci Ricci one I got, I haven't worn it yet but I've given it a sniff and it smells absolutely incredible. I also love this Audrey Hepburn one my Mum got me too. I love Audrey Hepburn. She's one of my all time favorite actresses and this perfume just smells amazing. I love the color of the box and bottle too. I also received Black Opium which is an absolutely incredible perfume. It's really sexy and sultry and mature and I just love it. One of my friends also got me a french perfume called Perfume D'Or which I've never heard of before but from sniffing the outside of the box smells amazing. I can't wait to try this.

Zara Bag & Scarf

One of my friends bought me this gorgeous Zara bag and I absolutely love it. I just love the color and the thick long gold chain. The bag is just super luxurious and I reckon it will make the perfect New Year's Bag. Not that I've got any plans for New Year yet but I just love the color and the gold on it and love the fact that it's big enough to put all the stuff I'll need on NYE in it. He also bought me this lovely cosy blue scarf as he knows how much I love scarves. I think this is just perfect for throwing on and will go with everything. I'm planning on going ice skating at the end of this month too and just think this'll be perfect.

Mugs

I don't tend to buy mugs that often because I don't really drink hot drinks unless it's absolutely necessary however this year I was lucky enough to receive two gorgeous mugs. The first one was from my friend Beki, who gave me this gorgeous prosecco mug. I'm a little bit obsessed with prosecco. It's literally been the only thing I drink when I go out oops, but I'll definitely be using this mug for hot chocolates and stuff. The next mug is a Moscow Mule mug and I absolutely love this mug. I think the copper color is just so cute and this was from another one of my close friends and I just love it. I think having a hot chocolate with marshmallows in this will just be so cute. And you all know how much I love copper/rose gold things.

Candles

I just love candles and this year I was lucky enough to receive a trio of Jo Malone candles from my Uncle. How cute is this little set?! It contains three scents which are Lime Basil and Manderin. English Pear and Freesia and Blackberry and Bay. They all smell absolutely incredible and I can't wait to have a little pamper evening and light this. I also received The Body Shop's Frosted Plum candle as well but it's currently downstairs burning so I couldn't photograph it for this post. Another candle I got from my Mum is this Sweet Vanilla and Coconut candle from Primark. It just smells amazing and primark candles are just such good value for money too!

BabyLiss Electric Razor

I love electric razors and recently broke mine so my Aunt decided to buy me a new one and I love it. It's the same one I had previously and it just works so well. I think it's just such an easy option if you're going out but need to quickly shave your legs. They are just amazing.

Cosy Socks, Gloves and PJs

These socks are the warmest socks I have ever worn in my entire life. They are just so comfortable and warm, I really didn't want to take them off for this post but they are lovely. I also love these gloves that I received from my Aunt as well as they are so lovely and warm too plus they are touch screen so you don't really need to take them off if you're sending a text. I also love the burgundy color as well. My Mum bought me these gorgeous PJ bottoms as she knows how much I love tartan and they are just so warm, comfortable and the color just makes them so christmassy. I love it.

Stocking Fillers

Some other items I got for Christmas were all in my stocking, A few things that aren't photographed are chocolates because I've eaten most of them already. Oops. You can't go Christmas without chocolates now can you? I also received some hand warmers which are perfect for this time of year. I got a little lipsy candy cane gift set which has some perfumes that are just absolutely perfect for sticking in your handbag in a night out. I also received The Holiday on DVD which is one of my favorite Christmas movies. I look forward to watching this over the next few days. I also received an itunes gift card because I love downloading new music and films and stuff. I also got my favorite concealers from my brother which is amazing as I was definitely running low! I also got this lynx shower gel and deodorant collection as well which I absolutely love.

As you can see from the photos above I am extremely lucky. I am so thankful to all my family and friends who went out of there way to gift me something for Christmas and I absolutely love and appreciate everything that I got. Like I mentioned at the beginning, I am not showing off in anyway. I personally loved writing this as I think it's a way to show your appreciation and just how grateful you are. I'm so thankful to have family and friends who are willing to spend their hard earned money on me and I couldn't be more grateful. If you have written a post like this then be sure to leave it linked below or send me a tweet at xbellefleurx linking it so I can have a read.

I hope that you're all having an absolutely wonderful day with your friends and family and are having a day full of laughter love and food! This is the one day of the year where you can eat as much as you like without having to worry about scales! I was working yesterday and I'm working tomorrow on an early so I'll have to go to bed early this evening unfortunately but

I won't ramble on too much but I just want to thank you all for your support on my blog this year. It has meant such an awful lot and I'm super excited to see where it will lead me in 2016 as I have a lot of plans for my blog and I'm definitely going to be spending a lot more time on it and making little changes.

Anyway, enough of my rambling, go, be with your friends and families and I'll be back in a few days time with more posts to bring in the new year! Merry Christmas once again and I'll speak to you soon.

Hugs and Kisses

So it's finally here! Christmas Eve! I can't believe tomorrow is Christmas Day. I think the one thing I am most excited about is the fact I am off! Work originally had me down as working and then put me on as leave which I am extremely excited and grateful for as it means I can spend the day with my brother and parents before they head on off to work. I just cannot wait. I was really struggling with what I could post on my blog for today but I thought I would do another Christmas tag that I've found on a few blogs. It's a bit different to my last Christmas tag that I did so I hope you enjoy it. Let's get started.

1. On A Scale Of 1-10 how much are you in the Christmas Mood?
Well it's Christmas Eve and I'm stuck at work unfortunately so at the moment I'm around a 6-7. However as soon as I get home I know that that will be bumped up to a 9 as I just love Christmas and even though it won't be the same tomorrow I'm still pretty excited to be off and being able to spend the day at home.

2. When wrapping presents are you a fail or are you a pro?
If this was asked around 3 years ago I would have definitely said I'm a fail. However over the past couple of years I've begun to really enjoy the process of wrapping presents so now I'd definitely say I'm a bit of a pro. Even my family have commented on how much I've improved.

3. When did you put your Christmas decorations up and do you do anything special whilst putting them up?
I put them up in the first week of January with my brother as that is our tradition and as always we always listen to Christmas songs and eat mince pies and just have a very jolly time whilst decorating everything.

4. Do you get dressed up or stay in your PJs on Christmas Day?
Normally I get dressed up on Christmas Day but because me and my family are celebrating it a couple days later this year I'll be buying myself a nice loungwear set and just wearing that all day.

5. What would be your dream place to go during the Christmas Season?
These two places contrast massively but I would absolutely love to go to lapland and experience full on snow and just Christmas over there. However I would also love to celebrate Christmas in Australia as well as I have a stepbrother and a niece and nephew who I'd love to be able to finally meet as well.

6. What is your Christmas Tree decorated like?
My Christmas tree is actually falling apart at the moment because we have had it for so many years but it's decorated with multi colored lights and lots of red, gold and silver baubles. It also contains other colored baubles as well but when you look at it there's so much red and gold.

7. Can you name all of Santa's Reindeer without googling?
Erm, Rudolph (Obviously) Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Dixen, Cupid? I have no idea those are just guesses!

8. Are you on the naughty or nice list this year? (Be Honest)
I'd like to think I'm on the nice list every year to be honest as I'd like to think of myself as a nice caring considerate person.

9. Name three things you like to do coming up to Christmas?
1. Watch Christmas Movies
2. Wrap presents
3. Listen to Christmas music

10. Name three Christmas movies you love?
1. The Holiday
3. Polar Express
4. A Christmas Carol.

11. Do you like white lights or colored?
I love both, I think colored lights just add that something extra to a room whereas white lights just look tat little bit more classier.

12. Which do you like better Christmas Eve or Christmas Day?
I can't pick! I love Christmas Eve because I just love the preparation of getting the presents together and soaking the turkey and just getting all festive and putting on new PJs. However I also love Christmas Day because that's when we can open all our presents and watch christmas movies and listen to Christmas songs and also see all my other family members that I don't tend to see during the year either.

13. What is your favorite Christmas make up look to wear?
Well a red lip is always a must of course. I normally try to keep my make up to the bare minimum on Christmas Day to be honest because it's Christmas I try to go for a little bit of sparkle around the eyes.

14. Right now as you're answering these questions how long is it until Christmas?
It's Christmas tomorrow! Wahoo!

15. Any Christmas Wishes?
Just for my family and friends to be happy and healthy.

16. Name 10 Christmas Songs You Love?
1. Slade: Merry Christmas Everyone
2. Cliff Richard - Mistletoe and Wine
3. Wham! - Last Christmas
4. Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You
5. Ariana Grande - Santa Baby
6. Leona Lewis - One More Sleep
7. Wizzard - I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday
8. The Pogues - Fairytale Of New York
I can only think of 8 but I'm sure we can all agree that these are the best of the bunch anyway!

17. Do you have any presents that you open on Christimas Eve?
Just the traditional Christmas Eve PJs that me and my brother get each year. I think most families have a similar tradition.

18. Name 3 Things On Your Christmas List?
To be honest there's nothing on my Christmas list. Even this year there was nothing that I really wanted. Just to be full happy and stop being so self conscious I guess.

19. You're having a down day, you're not in the Christmas mood. What do you do to change your mood and become Christmas happy?
Not going to lie, this was me most of this year, so I just always listen to Christmas music or watch a Christmas film to help me feel festive. Or I wrap presents as well to really get me in the christmas spirit. I love it.

20. What is the best thing on your plate when you have your Christmas dinner?
Turkey, stuffing and cranberry sauce or apple sauce. To say I am obsessed with these three things would be the understatement of the century.

So there we have it. The final day of Blogmas!!! Ahhhhh!!! I can't believe I've posted 24 posts, I don't know how I've had the time or energy or motivation to do that but I'm super proud of myself and I hope that you have enjoyed these posts as well. I will be posting tomorrow as well to wish everyone a merry christmas but if you're staying away from social media then I'll take this opportunity to say Merry Christmas to all of you. I hope you have an absolutely amazing day with your friends and family and remember it's not all about what's under the tree but more about who's around it.

How are you celebrating Christmas?
Hugs and Kisses

So this evening I finished work, went to the cinema and I'm now sitting down to wrap presents. Hey nothing says last minute than 3 days before Christmas right? Not to mention I've still got presents to buy but with no money and a ton of presents left to buy (Hello Duty Free) I have never felt more unprepared in my life. However I thought why not do a quick little post giving you three ideas for wrapping presents. It's that time where you can get as creative as you like so let's get started with the ideas.

Brown Paper
This is a way I have been looking to wrap my presents this year. She has just bought plain brown paper to wrap up the presents and then bought different things to decorate it on the side. She has red and white string to tie over it and make it look a bit more christmassy. I personally love the red and white string touch as it reminds me of candy canes. I think it makes the presents look a bit more classy as well. I've also bought different bows and ribbons to add to the wrapping paper as well. Brown paper is such a quick and easy solution as it means any color will go with it. You can put little sprigs of holly on the wrapping paper, add little christmassy stamps onto the paper and just get really creative with it which I love. You can also add little tiny baubles to the wrapping, especially if you use string as it just adds a really nice festive touch and once you're done with the bauble the person unwrapping the present can also then use it to stick on their own Christmas tree as well. It's just a nice little way to give a present to someone as you're adding something extra to it. This is definitely a good idea for those of you who have a lot more time to wrap and get a bit more creative with your wrapping.

Festive Wrapping Paper
If you haven't got a lot of time and need to wrap up your presents quite quickly then this is the most obvious solution. This is one that I'll be using for my Christmas presents on Christmas Eve that I buy last minute. There are some absolutely gorgeous wrapping paper out there that you can buy for like 1 pound a roll and they very often come in packs of three meaning that you have plenty of options. One of my rolls of wrapping paper this year is white with silver little Christmas trees and red little designs on it. It looks extremely pretty and definitely makes them that bit more festive and there's wrapping paper out there to suit everyone no matter who the recipient is!

Silver and Gold Wrapping Paper
Much like the brown wrapping paper this is also an other option that you can use to get a bit more creative however I think the silver and gold makes things a bit more festive whereas the brown wrapping paper is something that you can use for all gift occasions. Gold and silver wrapping paper is always a good idea as you can wrap it and add different ribbons and bows on. I got given a present once where someone had spray painted the initial of my name and tired it across my gift with a sparkly ribbon and than added a sparkly bow to the corner of the present which I thought was a really thoughtful and nice touch.

So here are some really simple ideas that you can use. Don't forget you can go all out with bows, ribbons, strings and gift tags and make it really special to the person you are giving it to. Like I've said above it's the one time of year we can get as creative as possible with wrapping presents. I hope these helped and be sure to leave comments letting me know how you wrap your presents as I love seeing how creative other people get as well.

With Christmas only four days away I thought why not do a post telling you about all the Christmas Traditions that happen in my family this time of year. Not going to lie, a lot of these have sadly been put on hold this year due to me and both my parents having to work shift work right across Christmas. However we are going to try and get through as many of them as we can, so before I carry on babbling too much here are my Christmas Traditions.

Writing Christmas Cards To The Neighbours on Christmas Eve
This is a tradition I started myself when I was about 12 years old. I love writing Christmas cards and when I was at school I always used to write hundreds to give to my friends, teachers and other people as well. There was always a few left over so I used to always sit down on Christmas Eve and write them out to all my neighbours and then wrap up warm and go and post them through each letter box. I love doing this as I love seeing or hearing how excited people are. I love seeing all the Christmas lights and decorations outside and I love how happy everyone is on Christmas Eve as well. It's a tradition I'll always keep.

Going Christmas Shopping With My Mum and Brother
This is a tradition once again that was started when I was very young. We all go out to a massive shopping centre and do our Christmas shopping together. Obviously we all part ways at some point during the day as we don't want to all be together when we are buying each others presents but then we all come bag together, get a hot chocolate from Costa and then go out for a meal after all the shopping is done as we all think it is very well deserved.

Visiting Winter Wonderland
Living in London means I'm lucky enough to be able to always go to Winter Wonderland. However this year I haven't been because of work but I am hoping to go on the 23rd as that is my only day off until the 27th. I just love the atmosphere there and I definitely think it will make me a lot more festive than it currently does. I love visiting the Christmas markets there and going on the rides and then having a hot chocolate and going ice skating as well. I just absolutely love it there and if you haven't been I would highly recommend it.

Putting Red and Green M&Ms In My Breakfast Cereal
Me and my brother always love putting coloured sweets in our breakfast cereal and have done since we were kids. M&Ms are our favourite chocolates so when it comes to the festive season we always buy lots of m&ms and stick them in our cereal. They have to be green and red though if not it's just absolutely a no go!

Wrapping Presents Whilst Watching Christmas Films
There's nothing better than sitting in front of the TV or Netflix whilst watching a lovely Christmas film and wrapping presents for your loved ones. It just makes me so super happy. This year I have a lot more time than usual to buy and wrap presents because we are celebrating Christmas on the 27th December as we are all working on Christmas Day. So this is a tradition that will be going on for the next few days.

Making Cinnamon Hot Chocolate
Every year my mum manages to find some cinnamon hot chocolate and we always sit down in front of the TV whilst watchin Christmas specials and drink it. It's just such a lovely drink and tastes a million times better than normal hot chocolate. I definitely think places like Costa and Starbucks should introduce it as I reckon it will be a best seller.

Soaking The Turkey In Water and Spices Overnight
On Christmas Eve me and my Dad always pick up the Turkey that we have pre-ordered, prep it and then put it in a plastic box (that has been cleaned) full of water and different spices. We then leave it in a cold place (sometimes outside) overnight to late the Turkey absorb everything. It's absolutely delicious the next day trust me!

Going To Christmas Day Mass
Being a catholic one of the most important traditions for my dad, myself and my brother (My mum isn't a catholic so doesn't join in) is going to Christmas Mass and I absolutely love it. It's always such an incredibly beautiful service and I just love seeing everyone there that I've known for absolutely years. It's such a heart-warming service and after, all that is what Christmas is all about.

So there we have it. Just a few of my Christmas traditions. I absolutely love Christmas, it is my favourite time of the year, however this year, because of work and stuff, it's just not feeling that Christmassy. But writing this post whilst I've had Love Actually on in the background has definitely helped. Hope you enjoyed this post and hope you are having a lovely time preparing for Christmas! Not long now!

What are your Christmas Traditions?
Hugs and Kisses

Hey Everyone! So today I thought that I would start of my 2015 favorites series of blog posts. With Christmas only a week away now I'm busy working and to be honest, I think I've typed up every blog post you can think of when it comes to Christmas. Okay I know that's a lie but you know what I mean. I do have a couple of last minute Christmassy posts going live in a couple of days time so make sure to keep an eye out for them.

Favorites posts always prove to be very popular. No matter what platform they are on. I love watching videos on youtube just as much as I love reading blog posts on what people love. No matter what they are non-beauty and beauty I just love it as I think it's the perfect way to come across new products and things you wouldn't normally come across. Anyway, those types of favorites will be coming towards the end of this month. Today I thought I'd talk to you about my favorite bloggers of 2015 from different cateogies across the blogging community. I hope you enjoy this post.

LIFESTYLE
EmTalks: I'm sure you all know by now how much I love and admire Em. She's such a lovely girl and her blog has definitely been one of my favorites this year. I've stuck Em in the lifestyle category but really her blog is a mixture of everything from travel to fitness to fashion. It's just an amazing blog and I love that she's so open and honest about everything on there. She's just such a lovely blogger.

VeryBerryCosmo: I love Kayleigh. She's such a lovely blogger and her blog is another one that is full of variety. I love that she speaks about things other's wouldn't normally think about opening up about on her blog and I've loved reading about all her success this year. She's definitely a blogger I hope I get to finally meet in 2016 and I can't wait to read more as you never know what to expect from her blog. The content is just so refreshing to read.

DizzyBrunette: I can't write this post without including the gorgeous Corrie's blog here. She's just so lovely and her blog has definitely been one of inspiration for me this year.

Zoella: Zoella relaunched her blog a few months ago with a brand new design and although there has been a few controversal opinions on her blog I've personally loved all her new content and posts. I love that they are so informative and I just love the variety on there. From recipies to beauty reviews to fashion there is something for everyone on her blog. It's one I'll never ever stop reading as it was afterall the blog that inspired me to start my own.

FASHION
WhatOliviaDid: I've loved reading Olivia's blog this year. She's recently had a make over on her blog and I've been absolutely hooked ever since...(not that I wasn't already) but I've just been reading her posts more. I absolutely love her style as well and her photography when it comes to her fashion posts are just incredible as well. I just love it.

The Sweetest Thing: One blog that I've come across this year and absolutely fell in love with is the lovely Emily's personal style blog. I absolutely love her photography and the locations in which she takes the photos for her posts. I also love her style as we have similar style in clothes and the kind of outfits she wears is definitely what I would wear as well. I absolutely love her blog.

Wonderful You: I love Meg and her fashion choices. I just love her style and love reading about the different outfits she has posted. Some of them are so cute and even though they are not necessarily what I'd wear I just love seeing other people's fashion choices. It just really interests me.

BEAUTY
CoutureGirl: When it comes to beauty reviews on blogs, Kayleigh's were the first ones I read properly when I started my blog and I absolutely love them. They are so informative and she really knows how to sell the products. I absolutely love her reviews and I've got a wish list as long as my arm at the moment full of products that she has recommended.

From Roses: Rebecca's blog is one I've been reading a lot this year. Again it's another blog that's full of a lot variety however when it comes to beauty I absolutely love the content she produces. I'm always left feeling like I have to buy a product and as well as doing the standard beauty reviews I absolutely love her posts like beauty trials or beauty products she'll repurchase as it's something a little different and lets us know that these products she reviews really work for her. I just love reading her blog.

ViviannaDoesMakeUp: Love this girl and love her blog. When I first started blogging I didn't really read Vivianna's blog that much purely because the majority of products she reviewed were high end and stuff I couldn't really afford. Now that I have a proper job I find myself over at her blog a lot more than usual because I can afford to splurge on skincare and make up a little bit more. I've always loved her blog and writing style so this blog is just amazing for me now.

HEALTH AND FITNESS
Niomi Smart: Niomi has definitely been one of my favorite people to watch on youtube this year. I think she is the loveliest person ever and I absolutely love her blog and youtube. Niomi is one of the healthiest people I've ever come across and one of my favorite things to read and watch on her youtube and blog are her what I eat in a day videos or healthy recipies that she comes across and makes. I'll be the first to stick my hand up and say I'm definitely not the healthiest person in the world but I'm definitely a lot healthier than I used to be and I just love watching the recipies that she comes up with as well as the different work out routines that she's posted as well. Definitely an inspiration.

Carly Rowena: Another blogger that I've paid more attention to this year is the lovely Carly Rowena. Her blog is just fabulous. Not only is it full of healthy recipies and workout routines but it's also full of handy tips and advice that can help you if you are feeling a bit low about your health and well being. She's such a lovely girl and is the least patronising fitness blogger I've ever come across. I just love her blog and her youtube is amazing as well.

So there we have it. My favorite bloggers of 2015. These are the blogs I have consistently read and loved going back to. I've loved and read other blogs too of course but if I mentioned every single one we'd be here till 2017. I may do a part two of this post but I can't promise anything. If you've loved these bloggers as much as I have then be sure to leave a comment below.

Who have been your favorite bloggers of 2015?
Hugs and Kisses

With Christmas only a week away now I think it's quite an important time of the year to not just celebrate with our friends and family but to also realise just how lucky we are. Sadly the world hasn't been the nicest place to live in the last couple of months. There has been so much sadness and heartache and despite all of that we still do have some amazing things in our lives. I thought it would be nice to do a little post of things that we should be grateful for this christmas. Enjoy.

Friends & Family: This year I know friends who have lost the people that are closest to them through illness or through violent attacks. It's been a very sad year for a lot of people I know however I'm super thankful for my friends and family. Despite not seeing eye to eye a lot of the time and having lots of arguments I'm super lucky that I still have the people who I love and who love me around even if we may not say it a lot. I have friends who have sadly lost parents or grandparents this and it has definitely made me appreciate them a lot more recently. I'll definitely be keeping them a lot closer to my heart from now on. Even if we do argue like cat and dog.

A Roof Over My Head: I was out in London with a few friends the other night and I saw so many people absolutely freezing cold and just sat outside shops and in subways and it made me so sad. We take these things for granted everyday and only when you see things like that do you realise just how lucky we are. I will be making up some little bundles and packages to give to some homeless shelters near me this Christmas I think it's so important to help other people and try and improve their quality of life as well.

An opportunity to go to work: We all moan about it and we all wish we could just stay at home and just chill out with netflix and chocolate however I can't help but realise just how lucky we are to be able to do the jobs that give us enough money to not just get treated to nice presents and food this Christmas but to also be able to treat the ones we love to gifts they deserve as well. Not everyone is that lucky.

My Blog: Whenever I'm feeling down or a bit annoyed or frustated I always turn to my blog as a way to calm me down. Whether it's writing a new post or reading comments or just reading other blogs it's just such a lovely place to go that always puts me in a better mood. I honestly don't know what I would do if I didn't have my blog. It's definitely the best thing I've ever started.

Living In London: With everything going on in the world at the moment in other places I'm so thankful and lucky that I live in London. A place which yes, is scary at times but also provides the opportunity to meet new people, make new friends, experience different entertainment such as theatre and film and just provides a place to escape at times. I honestly love London and despite wanting to move to New York for a year or so, London will forever have a special place in my heart.

So there we have it just a few things I am grateful for this Christmas. I think it is important to spare a thought for us less fortunate than us this Christmas. I know that it is important to think of these things all year round but I think Christmas is the one time of year where it really hits home and makes us realise just how lucky we are to have the lives we do.

Blogmas Day 19 | Five Things I'm Grateful For This Christmas

Hey Everyone! I hope that you are all well and getting excited for Christmas! Can you believe it's less than 5 days until the big day arrives? I'm not actually celebrating Christmas on Christmas Day because everyone in my family including myself are all working so it's not really going to be much of a Christmas. Instead we have decided to do Christmas the day after boxing day when we are all off. We're inviting all our families over and I'll get a chance to celebrate Christmas with my twin cousins wich I'm super excited about. It's just sad that I can't spend the actual day celebrating it properly and doing the traditions we normally do. But anyway, enough rambling. Let me get back into the point of this post.

I thought that I'd take a little break from my Christmas themed posts and just talk to you all about this year blogging wise and thank you all. As you can already tell from the title of this post it's officially been 3 years now since I started blogging. I remember the first post I ever did which is no longer live was a post about Pitch Perfect and how much I loved it. I also remember doing a lush haul that day as well as I had just been shopping in Kingston with my best friend, Shreeyn, and we decided to pop into lush. I think I bought a mini lush snow fairy, a lush bubblegum lipscrub and something else that I can't remember. Hey it was three years ago okay? I remember coming home and setting out a little pretty background WITH ARTIFICIAL LIGHTING and snapping away on my iPhone 4. I can't believe I used to use articificial lighting. What on earth was I thinking?

I was actually looking at some of my older posts the other day and thinking just how far I've come with my blog. When I started it three years ago I never expected to be here 3 years later writing this post for you all. I remember just sitting and reading Zoe and Louise's blog as I absolutely loved those two and still do! If it wasn't for them I definitely wouldn't have started my own blog. I'm so so proud of it. I'm starting to see so many good things come from it and even though I haven't been able to take many of the opportunities that have come my way I've been extremely grateful and thankful for everything that has come up.

I'd like to take this time to say one last thank you to all of you who read my blog and take the time to send me tweets about it or leave a comment about it or even just include me in a blog post you yourself written. It really does mean a lot and I am getting a bit emotional writing this as I am super proud of my little blog and I'm glad other people seem to enjoy what I post. So once again thank you so much!! I don't know how many years of blogging I have ahead of me or where it will take me but I'm so super excited to come across more opportunities and meet more lovely bloggers too.

What has been your favorite post of mine?

Hey Everyone! So as you know if you read my blog and have come onto my blog every day this month (please let me know who you are if you do this as I love you an awful lot) then you will know I have been pretty bad with blogmas this month. I am only a day behind at the moment so I'm super pleased for that. Today however I thought I would do a huge Christmas gift guide for the females in your life. I've tried to include something for everyone no matter your budget in this guide so I hope you are able to find something! Grab a cuppa and enjoy!

Make Up and Beauty Gifts

Make Up & Beauty Christmas Gift Set

When it comes to make up and beauty gift sets there are so many incredible brands out there that do so many amazing little gift sets for whatever your budget or taste. There's something in this mini guide that's bound to be perfect for a lady in your life.

Skincare and Bath Gifts

Skincare Gifts

Skincare and bath gifts are definitely my favorite gifts to buy and receive at Christmas. I'm definitely more of a skincare person than a makeup and beauty person and for me this year various brands have absolutely outdone themselves. Here are my top picks that will definitely relax the lady in your life.

Gifts That Smell Good
Scented Gifts

If you are seriously stuck on what to buy for Christmas you are always onto a winner when it comes to perfumes and candles. Not only do they come in really cute gift scents but you are always bound to find one that will suit her tastes. This is just a little selection I came up with.

Random Bits and Pieces
Random Bits and Bobs

If you are really lost on what to buy her then this little collage of items should help. Wallets, PJs, jewellery etc are never a lost cause and are bound to make the recipient smile a lot. These are just some items I personally would love to receive this Christmas.

I hope you enjoyed this post. I've never done a gift guide this length before but I thought instead of doing seperate guides I would just include everything in one. As you can see there should be something here for everyone and I tried to include something for everyone here so no matter what you're budget you're bound to find something that you can treat someone or even yourself too. Just click on the links to head on over to the website and find out more about each item. Be sure to leave me in the comments section your favorite item from here.

Christmas Wishlist

Hey Everyone! So today I thought I'd tell you a few things that are on my wishlist this Christmas. These are just a few things I'd love to be able to unwrap but as I say in this post every year I'm not expecting things and will be extremely grateful for whatever I receive. I may even treat myself to most of these things after Christmas too as I just love every single item here.

Victoria Secret PJs I own quite a lot of pyjamas however I don't own a really pretty girly one. I've seen these pyjamas a lot recently and whilst I was browsing the victoria secret website I spotted this and think they are super lovely and not a bad price either. I just love them so much.

Liz Earle Pink Pepper and Mint Cleanse and Polish - I absolutely love Liz Earle. I've spoken about it on my blog quite a few times and I own quite a lot of products from the brand. However I've been eyeing up this pink pepper and mint version of their famous cleanse and polish for ages. It's one of the best skincare products I've ever used and always leaves my skin in tip top condition. Me and my mum both love this and I reckon we might be treating each other to this this year....how funny would that be?!

Michael Kors Watch - Yes I know Michael Kors watches were a thing like 2/3 years ago now but I personally still love the look of them. I think they are such classy statements of jewellery and I just love how they look. Other than my pandora bracelet I haven't got any other jewellery that I wear everyday so I think this would be a lovely addition to my collection and will be perfect for work as well when I keep an eye on the time. I think I may treat myself to this eventually.

Travel Wallet - In January I am going on holiday to Mauritius for three weeks which I am super excited about. However I am definitely after a little travel wallet where I can put my passport, money and tickets in as well. I've been after one for quite a while now and never really found one I quite like however I love the look of these pastel ones from Not On The High Street. I just love that place so much as they do lovely little things like this on their website for quite reasonable prices.

Daisy Dream Perfume - One of my favorite scents of this year has been the Daisy Dream Forever scent. However I never tried the perfume in the original line which was just the Daisy Dream scent. This has a fresher scent than the Daisy Dream Forever one and as I'm in desperate need of a new perfume at the moment I think this will be the perfect one to try.

Zoeva Rose Gold Eye Brush Set Vol 2 - You'd think after blogging for nearly three years now I would have tried the rose gold brushes from Zoeva but sadly this hasn't been the case. However 2016 will be the year I will hopefully start using them. I absolutely love the look of the brushes and I haven't heard a single bad thing about them. They are also so super pretty and will look gorgeous on my dressing table too.

So there we have it. Just a short list of things I'm lusting over this Christmas. If anything the one thing I really want is to be able to spend more time with my friends and family. I'm working the whole of Christmas and New Year so I'm really not feeling that festive at all if I'm honest but I'm definitely going to make the most of it and try and have a lovely Christmas anyway. Like I've said these are just a few things I have my eyes on at the moment and I'm not in anyway expecting them at all but I love reading these kinds of posts and I know other people enjoy reading them too.

Hey Everyone! So today I thought that it would be fun before Christmas and the New Year are over to look back at some of the goals and resolutions I set myself for 2015. I think it would be quite a fun post to do just to see if I met any of them before I have a think about what goals and resolutions I want to set myself for 2016. So here were my goals and resolutions for 2015:

1. Stop Letting People Put Me Down
2. Pass both parts of my driving test
3. Find My Dream Job
4. Spend More Time In The Kitchen
5. Save More Money
6. Continue to work hard on my blog
7. Continue to be more positive

I have to say that I am immensely proud of completing at least five and a half of these goals and resolutions. I passed my theory test earlier on this year and then started taking actual lessons for my driving back in September. However I have put a hold on them until I get back from holiday in February as I'm just too busy with work and everything just now to fully commit to it. However when I get back in February my shifts are getting better and I'll be able to fully commit to driving.

I've also managed to land one of my dream jobs by working in an airport. I undertook a month of very tiring and exhausting training and even though it was incredibly difficult at times I managed to come through it the other side and managed to pass the training and land myself a job with British Airways. I absolutely love it. It is hard however it can be extremely rewarding and I'm so glad I don't really need to worry about not being able to go out and do the things I want to do.

Obviously because of landing my dream job it means that I've managed to complete another resolution by saving more money. I'm saving up to go on a 3 month trip to travel America and Australia at the moment so the fact I have this job now means I am able to save up enough money to do so. I haven't saved a huge amount mind you and with Christmas looming I'm definitely slacking in the saving department but no fear, I'll be back to my saving ways in January.

I would say over the course of this year I have definitely tried to work hard on my blog. However because of work and stuff I'm no longer able to blog as much as I used to and sometimes when I sit down I get really tired and definitely get extremely distracted by things such as netflix and shopping online. Oops! But I am proud with how far my blog as come this year. It's not exactly where I wanted to be but I'm still proud with how far it's come. I can only hope it continues going as smoothly as it did this year in 2016.

Positivity is something I have definitely struggled with still however because of my new job and the fact I can now do more with my life I've definitely become a happier more positive person. I still do struggle a little bit because sadly my family aren't that supportive and encouraging of things I want to do in my life but luckily I have a great group of friends who always know how to pick me up and make me feel a lot happier about situations in my life which I am extremely lucky to have.

As you can see the only one I didn't really manage to achieve is the one that was number one on my list which was to stop letting people put me down. I get way to worked up on what people think of me and it's something that I need to try and change in 2016 and just live my life without caring what other people think if not I'll never be happy.

So there we have it, just a look back over my goals and resolutions for 2015. Stay tuned till New Years Day where I will be posting all about my New Year's Resolutions and Goals for 2016. I hope you enjoyed this post. Be sure to let me know in the comments below if you had similar resolutions to me.

Hey everyone! Hope you're well! As you know one of my favorite apps and websites to use is pinterest. I just love the variety of inspiration you can find on there for virtually everything. Recently I've been looking on there for Christmas inspiration and I thought that I would show you some of my favorite inspirational images that have inspired me this christmas when it comes to food, decorations and random bits and pieces.

Food

I think everyone can agree then when it comes to Christmas food is definitely the best part. I had a moment of weakness earlier on this month when I decided I would go on a diet. Joke was on me really as we all know that wasn't going to happen. I have been baking a lot on my days off this year and have turned to pinterest for inspiration. Just how adorable are these cookies? I absolutely love the Christmas pudding ones and the ginger bread ones as well. I love the white and blue theme of the snowflake cookies as well. I'm definitely going to be attemtping them over the next couple of days I think,

Decorations

Decorating the house and my room for Christmas is definitel my favorite thing to do around this time of the year. I absolutely love putting on christmas music and decorating the tree and the fire place and just making things a lot more festive. I absolutely love the variety of rose gold decorations in the shops this year. Yes my obsession still has not faded. I absolutel love these little rose gold stars as I think it's super duper pretty. I also love the wooden noel wording on the mantel piece as it's just adds such a cute little touch. One thing I'm definitely going to be attempting are centre pieces for the dining table and coffee table. I absolutely love the use of a cake stand, berries and candles. It's very 'A Christmas Carol' and I love it!

Random Festive Inspiration

I always like looking for little extra bits and pieces to do for Christmas and I think these three images will add a super festive touch. I absolutely love the first image of the Christmas Movie night. I love the chocolates and sweets in glass jars, milk in milk bottles with red and white straws that look like candy canes and also popcorn as well. You can just arrange a lovely festive evening with your friends and family and go all out with the decoration. I also love the little red cutlery stockings as well. Think this will add such a lovely touch to the dinner table. I have a lot of plain white mugs lying around my house as well and I absolutely love the idea of turning them into little snowmen with everyone's names on. I think that's such a cute winter touch.

These are just a few of my favorite Christmas images that I've found on pinterest that have definitely inspired me to decorate my house a lot more and make things a lot more festive in my life this time of year. I have pinned all these things onto my Christmas bored on pinterest so be sure to head on over and click HERE to browse my Pinterest.

Where do you look for inspiration when it comes to Christmas?

Christmas Party Dresses

Hey everyone! So on Friday I had my work's Christmas Party which was so much fun. I've never really been to a Christmas Party before. I normally just tend to go for lunch and dinner with friends and stuff but never a proper party and the stress of finding a dress was real! Because of this I thought that I would do a little post featring some of my favorite dresses on various websites that I think will be perfect for Christmas parties.

What is a Christmas party without a hint of gold? I absolutely love this topshop dress. It's just the perfect color and style for a Christmas party and the fact it's gold just to me screams Christmas. I know some people think gold can be quite tacky but I personally really like this dress and think it will suit a lot of you. It will also be perfect for those New Years Eve parties as well.

I spotted this dress on the New Look website and fell in love with it straight away. You all know how much I absolutely love burgundy and this dress is just so super pretty. I love the fact it's not super dressy so is definitely one that you could wear for dinners out. I've already purchased this dress and I'm planning on wearing it on Christmas Day as it's just so pretty.

How cute is this dress. I love the color and the style of it. I think it's perfect Christmas party material. It's not the typical color you'd find at Christmas parties either so it would definitely make you stand out from the usual crowd of LBD's and sparkly red dresses. I love it.

This is definitely not the kind of dress I would normally be able to pull off but I absolutely love it. I think the color and the style are so super flattering. I also really like the cross back design as well. This is definitely a dress that definitely screams Christmas party.

This is another dress I reckon people will think is quite tacky but I personally love it. I think it's the perfect dress for Christmas and New Year dress. It's verty sparkly and is one of those dresses that can look really classy. I think this will look super pretty paired with a pair of black lace up heels and a leather jacket to keep you warm. I love it.

Another sparkly number that I think should definitely make an appearance this festive season. I absolutely love  the style and design. I pesonally wouldn't wear this myself as I'm not so keen on the bodycon design but I think it's such a pretty dress.

So these are just my six picks for Christmas party dresses this year. Let me know in the comments below what style and color of dress you'll be wearing for your Christmas and New Year's Eve parties this year. If you like the look and style of the dresses above then just click the names of each dress to head on over to the websites.

Hey Everyone! So today I thought I'd do a bit of a post talking to you all about my favorite Christmas films. Christmas is the one time of the year where we actually all sit down with our families and binge watch a whole bunch of Christmas movies and just chill and relax. So why not introduce you to some of my favorite Christmas films to help get you into the spirit. Enjoy!

The Polar Express
I watched this film for the first time last Christmas eve and I absolutely loved it. It's such a lovely little Christmas film and definitely reduced me to a few tears. It's set around Christmas Eve where a train is due to depart for the North Pole and follows the story of a young boy and conductor (voiced by Tom Hanks) throughout the evening. It's such a lovely story and the ending like I've said always makes me cry.
The Holiday
My all time favorite Christmas film. Jude Law, Kate Winslet, Jack Black and Cameron Diaz. Such a feel good Christmas film. If anyone is willing to house swap (preferable places are New York or Australia) then please let me know haha! Iris Simpkins is literally me as well.

It's A Wonderful Life
An old classic. I just absolutely love this film so much. It makes me laugh and it makes me cry at the same time. It's just a beautiful film and even though it is black and white which if you are anything like me can be put off at times I would highly recommend it. It's such a beautiful Christmas film.

Love Actually
Is there anyone in the world who does not like this film? With an all star cast including Colin Firth, Kiera Knightly, Hugh Grant AND Liam Neeson this film is one of my favourite ever films. It's such a feel good romantic film following different love stories around the Christmas period. Definitely going to watch this once I've written this post!

A Christmas Carol
This film is one of my favourites as it just brings back so many memories of my childhood. I just absolutely love everything about this film. It's quite sad yet so beautiful and so incredibly moving and really does show you the true meaning of Christmas. My favourite version is Jim Carrey's which is actually on Netflix so if you're looking for a good Christmas film I'd highly recommend it. I tend to watch this film every year on Christmas Eve. Once you watch it you'll know why!

Miracle On 34th Street
If you're a fan of Matilda and haven't seen this film where have you been? The girl who plays Matilda is one of the main characters in this film and she's so incredibly cute but has been bought up believing that Santa doesn't exist. It's a beautiful film and really does get me into the christmas spirit.

Just a short little post of my favorite Christmas films. I've watched The Holiday at least 5 times already and that's just in the last week. Woops! If you haven't checked any of these films out then definitely give them ago. They are guaranteed to put you in the festive spirit and mood. Let me know which one of these films are your favorite.
