Hey everyone! Hope you are all well! I can't believe it's the last day of August! How quickly has this month gone? It's madness. I can't believe I've been at my job for just over two months. It's absolutely flown by but I am absolutely loving it and I know that I've picked the right path for me. Anyway, I thought I would end August on my blog by doing sharing all the non beauty things that I've been loving as I love reading these types of posts and watching this type of video on youtube and I know others are the same so let's get started.

The first thing I've been loving has been the TV show Smash. If you didn't already know I love musicals and musical theater and anything related to that so when a friend introduced this show to me a couple of years ago now I absolutely fell in love with it. I love the music, the characters and I find it can be a real eyeopener to what the industry is like and what it takes to get into it. It's brilliant and I would highly recommend it.

I've also really been loving the film If I Stay this month. I didn't photograph it because I don't have a physical copy of the film I just watched it on Sky but it's amazing. I had read the book in the past and absolutely loved it but the film really did impress me. I loved the characters and the actors who played them. It basically follows the story of two young teenagers who fall in love through a mutual love of music but who face struggles along the way. It's definitely a weepy though but again I'd highly recommend this.

If you have been reading my blog for a while or following me on twitter even then you will know I absolutely love books. I can't walk into a bookshop and not come out with anything. I absolutely have to have something. The loved Zoella mentioned this in her July Favorites video and when she spoke about this I know it was something I had to read. The book is called All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven and I think it's amazing. Again it follows the life of two teens who fall in love however it's also an incredible book for the awareness of mental illness. Definitely one to pick up.

Earlier this month I went to Primark and when I was at the checkout I spotted a Portable Phone Charger next to the till. I decided to purchase that as well and I'm so glad I did. It's honestly the best portable charger I have. I am constantly on my phone whether it's blogging, playing games, on twitter or just texting, I'm always on it so it constantly runs out of charge however this little beauty has definitely been a life saver. You can get two full charges from this which is pretty amazing. Especially as it's from Primark! I love it.

If you didn't already know the lovely Gabriella from VelvetGh0st on youtube released a LIMITED EDITION home range in Primark and I couldn't resist picking up a few bits and pieces but one of my favorites has definitely been this Sparkle Like A Diamond Hook. I've been using this for my keys and I have found it has come incredibly useful. I absolutely love the rose gold design on it too! Grab it whilst you can folks! Like I've mentioned it's only limited edition but would make a great addition to a bedroom/hallway.

Happy Jackson is a brand I came across late last year and I absolutely adore it. All their products are so happy and fun so when I spotted this lunchbox in a little shop on Oxford Street I made no hesitation in picking it up. I love the colour and I love the fact it gets straight to the point on the box. I've been making packed lunches most days for work since buying this and I just love it so much. If you haven't checked out this brand before I'd highly recommend it.

Another thing I picked up from the brand Happy Jackson was this adorable Key chain that says 'Yay! I'm home #pyjamasandicecreamtime'. I just think it's so cute and I absolutely love the brightness of it all. It's just so adorable. Another key chain I got was this adorable burgundy ball of fur that I bought from New Look. Bit of a random purchase but I absolutely love it and think the color is perfect for autumn. It's so easy now to just go in my bag and whip out my keys as I know exactly where they are!

I've also really been loving this incredibly beautiful gold watch that I bought in Peacocks. It looks so pretty on the wrist and has gorgeous little diamonds around the face which adds a really pretty girly touch to it. At work we can only have silver and gold watches so I think this makes a perfect addition to my uniform. I just love it!

The final thing I've been loving this month has been my brand new Pipdig Blog Design. I absolutely loved my old design but wanted things to look a bit more fresh and professional on my blog and I think this design does the trick and I been getting a lot of positive feedback and lovely messages from those of you who read my blog regularly so thank you so much. The guys from Pipdig were absolutely amazing so if you're looking for a new blog design I would highly recommend them.

So those were all my random favourites of this month. I hope you enjoyed reading this post just as I enjoyed writing it. I'm so sorry that I've been extremely quite on my blog lately. I've been doing so much overtime at work and been so busy that I just haven't had time. However I'm getting back into the swing of things and becoming a lot more organised so you'll be hearing from me a lot more in September. If you have done a post like this, this month make sure to leave it below as I think it's a great way of finding out more about other people.

Hey Everyone! So it's reached that time in the month where I talk to you about my favourite music of the month and this month I have been listening to quite a lot of new stuff and been loving it all. Like I've mentioned before I write this post just to let you guys know what music I enjoy listening to and introducing you to perhaps some new artists and songs that you might not have ever heard. I'm seeing more of this sort of post appearing on other blogs now too and that makes me so happy as after all sharing is caring! Okay enough cringyness, here's what I've been listening to and loving this month.

Hey Everyone! So it actually feels really really weird writing a monthly favorites post. I don't actually think I've written one of these since May? That's a long time and very unusual! Although to be fair I actually haven't had many new favorites so I would have probably just reeled off the exact same products I've mentioned a thousand times before. However, this month I did discover some new favorites so I thought why not do a post telling you all about them and why I love them. Enjoy!

Silvikrin Classic Hairspray
Putting a hairspray in a monthly favorites post is not something that you see done all the time but I absolutely love this hairspray. It really just keep my hair in place all day and is not sticky or anything like other hairsprays either. I absolutely love it. At work it's a requirement to have our hair up in a bun and because my hair is so long I always have bits falling out here and there however this just prevents that. It's just amazing.

Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir Cologne
I bought this fragrance for my Mum for Christmas last year and absolutely adored it myself and this month I visited London quite a bit, especially Covent Garden. They have a Jo Malone there and one day I just couldn't resist and decided to purchase it for myself. I've never owned anything from Jo Malone so I was so excited to finally be able to use this. I only use this for special occasions so I know that this will last me a while but I absolutely love it. It smells very fruity, however contains some notes that make it have a little bit of a spicy sent as well. I have no idea if that made any sense as I'm not one to describe scents but this smells incredible and I'd highly recommend it.

The Body Shop's Glazed Apple Lip Balm
Last year I bought about 10 of these so please don't think I've been using just one since Christmas as the answer is no! I absolutely love this scent. It's just Christmas in a lip balm! I absolutely love it and like everything else in the body shop range it's just so super moisturizing. It's definitely one of the best lip balms I've ever used and I really hope The Body Shop brings back this range this year!

Maybelline Colour Sensation Lipstick in 'Stellar Pink'
I absolutely love this lipstick. It is one of my all time favorites to wear after the revlon lip butters. I absolutely love the formula and the color and I think it is super long lasting on the lips as well. I've been meaning to pick up a couple more of these but I haven't had the opportunity yet so hopefully in the future I'll be able to do that.

Boots Botanic Hydrating Day Cream
When it comes to moisturizers I try everything as I am yet to find my holy grail product and even though this doesn't quite scream holy grail to me just yet it's still an incredible moisturizer. What I love about this moisturizer is that you can really notice a difference on your skin. It's a really brightening cream and incredible hydrating. You can still feel it at the end of the day working which I absolutely love. I also love the fact that this has SPF 15 in it which makes it pretty perfect for the summer months. I have a full review coming of this moisturizer and more products in the Boots Botanics range so make sure to stay tuned for that.

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation
I bought this foundation a while ago, loved it, then put it in a drawer and totally forgot about it. Whoops! However I rediscovered it this month and absolutely adore it. I absolutely love the coverage which is quite medium but can be buildable. I love the dewy satiny finish it leaves on my skin and it just does an excellent job of covering all my blemishes on my face. I just love it.

The Body Shop's Virgin Mojito Body Butter
This range from The Body Shop has probably been my favorite range all summer. I absolutely love it. It smells absolutely incredible but like all body butters from TBS it's just so incredible hydrating and moisturizing and even though sometimes I've found the body butters to be too thick to use during the summer I have been using this non-stop. It's just incredible. I don't know if this range is only in stores for the summer but I would definitely head out their fast and purchase it as it's amazing.

Scholl Velvet Smooth Express Pedi with Velvet Smooth Intense Cream
I'm planning on doing a full review of this soon as I think it's something everyone should have but words can't express how much I love this thing. I spotted an advert on TV about it and just knew I had to have it. I have really hard skin at the bottom of my feet. It's horrible. However using this thing just prevents it. The moisturizer just gives that added soft feel to your feet so apply it as soon as you've removed the hard skin with your express pedi, however please don't do what I do and walk around as soon as you apply the moisturizer, especially if you have wooden/tiled floors. Not the best idea in the world. HA! Stay tuned for my full review on this coming soon.

So there we have it, all my beauty favorites for August. I hope you enjoyed this post and if you have used any of these products mentioned here before then please let me know what you thought in the comments below.

Hey Ladies! Hope you're all having a lovely weekend! This weekend I've just been packing and shopping with my Dad. I am currently writing this post off my new laptop as we speak! I needed a new one as I was stupid and spilled orange juice on my last one oops. However, my Dad very kindly bought me a new one so that I can skype back home once I am in Turkey. It also means I will be able to blog when I'm out there about my new travels. It really is a win win situation and a very practical going away present! But anyway before I ramble let's get back to the point of this blog post.

On Tuesday last week I went shopping with the lovely Sophie in London's Westfields Shopping Center. We had lunch, caught up and did a bit of shopping too. Neither of us had the intention of buying make up at all! as we both need to save! However as we were browsing the store we spotted these beautiful Revlon Parfumerie nail polishes. Neither of us were aware that they were already out in the UK so we both decided to purchase a few. If you didn't already know what these are they are basically standard nail polishes which have a gorgeous sweet smelling or fresh fragrance once they have dried.

When browsing the selection of colors that they had I decided to opt for certain shades that I don't really have in my collection. The ones I picked up were Lime Basil which is a gorgeous blue toned green color that can look quite teal sometimes. It's absolutely gorgeous. The scent is incredible as well. Very strong and sweet smelling with a hint of freshness to it as well. If that makes any sense.

The next shade I picked up and perhaps my favorite of all of them is Bordeaux which is an absolutely gorgeous deep red wine color. It's just so incredibly beautiful. I don't own anything like this in my collection. It's not really a spring/summer color but I really don't care, this will probably be a staple on my nails for the next few months. It'll be absolutely perfect in Autumn as well. The scent again is absolutely beautiful. Very fruity and it actually does smell a little bit like red wine. It's a beautiful scent and I could go on and on about this nail polish I love it that much. Definitely the most beautiful color in the entire range in my opinion.

The final shade I picked up was African Tea Rose. I own quite a few pink nail polishes but there was just something a bit different about this shade of pink that screamed 'Buy Me!'. I did and well it is a a beauty! It is a gorgeous incredibly bright very barbie pink shade. It looks so much prettier on the nails than in the bottle. Now I'm not a massive fan of this scent to be honest. It is sweet smelling but has a hint of a rose scent that is quite off putting to me. I'm not a big rose fragrance fan but I do know a lot of you will actually like this.

When it comes to the formulas they are absolutely amazing. They are very creamy and opaque in just one coat. The application process is so incredibly simple and easy as well. All the swatches above are done with one coat and as you can see they are completely opaque. I have had 'Bordeaux' on my nails for the past 3 days and they just haven't chipped at all. The scent is only noticeable after the polish has dried. Before that it does smell like normal polish! They only take a few minutes to dry too! I honestly have nothing bad to say about these polishes!

Now you're probably thinking, 'but if you didn't know they were released in the UK why did you buy three instead of just one to try?' You would be correct in thinking that however, Boots are currently doing a 3 for 2 offer on these which I reckon is a pretty good deal considering just one of these polishes on their own is £6.49. If you would like to purchase any of the 24 shades in the Revlon Parfumerie collection which if you were wondering is NOT limited edition then head on over here to the Boots website to take your pick. I'd be fast though as these will sell out pretty fast. Definitely some of the recently released drugstore nail polishes!

Have you been lucky enough to try the Revlon Parfumerie Collection yet?

New Revlon Parfumerie Nail Polishes

I'd be fast though as these will sell out pretty fast. Definitely some of the recently released drugstore nail polishes!

Have you been lucky enough to try the Revlon Parfumerie Collection yet?

Hello Everyone! I can't believe it's Monday and the start of yet another week. I know for some of you this will be your first week of the summer holidays so I hope you have got lots of fun activities planned! My time however will be spent job hunting. Since before graduating university it's been one job application after another! I am so glad I have my blog to keep me sane during this time so thank you to all of you who leave comments and tell me how much you like my blog and posts as it really keeps me motivated and makes me very happy.

Anyway, current life story aside I thought I would do a little 'top 5' series on my blog as I personally love reading these blog posts and finding new products so I hope you will too. Today I thought I would take a break from job applications in order to let you know about my top 5 lip products at the moment. Lip glosses and lip butters have always been my must have items. Even when I was a lot younger I would buy a lip gloss mostly every single week as I just loved them so much. First of all this post is quite lengthy so please bear with me! Secondly, swatches will be provided at the end of this post. So without further or do my top five favorite lip products are:

Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie: If you have been reading my blog or follow my instagram then you will know how in love I am with the Revlon lip butters. I currently have eight lip butters at the moment and there are still a few colors out there I want to get. It's an addiction I tell you! Berry Smoothie is definitely my favorite at the moment. The color just goes with everything I wear and suits my skin tone so much. Berry Smoothie is a gorgeous dark reddish brown color. The lip butter is just so creamy and moisturizing and lasts all day sometimes with no need to top up at all and other times just one top up during the day does the trick. This is my go to item at the moment and it is a color that can suit every single skin tone so if you wish to check it out head to your local Boots or Superdrug or click HERE to purchase it for £7.99.

Revlon 'Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain' in Honey: Lip Crayons seem to be the in thing at the moment with every man and his dog owning or reviewing one and every company seems to be jumping on the bandwagon. Unfortunately for me there doesn't seem to be a lot of colors out there that would suit my skin tone. Thankfully this Revlon balm stain does. I absolutely love this lip crayon. It is very pigmented, goes on very smooth and smells absolutely gorgeous with a strong hint of mint. Think of the mint scented gel pens you use to get in school. Yes, this can  be quite off putting at first but you definitely grow to love it! At least I did anyway. I tend to apply one coat to my lips as this gives me just the right color I want however it's very buildable and changes color depending on how much you apply from a light pink to a mauve dark pink color. If you haven't already given this a whirl then again head down to Boots or Superdrug or click HERE to purchase it for £5.99.

Model Co. Lip Gloss in Strip Tease: I never actually heard of this brand until one of my favorite magazines, Glamour decided to give away their products free with a copy of their magazine. I am so glad they did. This lip gloss is absolutely gorgeous. It is a lovely sheer nude color but contains traces of sparkle throughout which catches the light perfectly. The lip gloss itself is non sticky, easy to apply and stays put all day. As it is nude it is perfect for every day wear and would suit absolutely everyone. I love that the packaging has a mirror on the front which is great for use if you are topping up on the go.  In Glamour Magazine they claimed that the lip gloss was worth £16 which did shock me as I didn't expect it to be that much, however on the website it is priced at only £12. Still pricey but a much more reasonable price. If you are interested then click HERE to purchase it.

Rimmel Apocalips in Nova: Now this is another hyped up product within the beauty community and rightly so too. These are absolutely amazing. These are described as a lip lacquer which basically says to me a creamy lipstick in lip gloss form. I am a huge fan of this product. I think for a high street product it is really classy. I love the name as play on words tend to excite me, I love the crystal type lid and I love that the packaging is black at the top but then shows the color of the product at the bottom. I also love the dip in the wand as you get enough color to apply onto you lips without having to keep on dipping it in to the tube. The color of this product is definitely not something I would normally go for as it is a very bright barbie pink, I am normally more of a nude to neutrals kind of girl. However I love it but I don't think it is for everyday wear, I tend to wear this for events and nights out as it is a perfect occasions product. If you are interested in this product then you can purchase it for £5.99 by clicking HERE

Rimmel 'Stay Glossy' in 'Pop Your Pink':  Along with the Revlon Lip Butter this lip gloss is probably my most worn at the moment. It is a lovely sheer bright pink color that just gives a touch of color on your lips. This lip gloss basically has all the features of the model co gloss other than the color. It is non sticky, easy to apply, and also stays put all day long. This gloss is not glossy but not over the top like some lip glosses and make your lips look absolutely amazing. The wand is very soft when you apply it and gives more of a defined application. If I had to say one negative thing about this product is that the color is quite misleading as I was expecting a really heavy bright pink color but instead it is quite sheer so if you prefer a brighter lip this may not be for you. It is perfect however, if you love sheer glosses which just a hint of color. If you are interested in this product you can purchase it HERE for only £6.29.

Left To Right: Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie, Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Lip Stain in Honey, Model Co. Lip Gloss in Strip Tease, Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Nova and Rimmel Stay Glossy Lip Gloss in Pop Your Pink.

As you can see from the swatches above the most pigmented are the Revlon berry smoothie lip butter, the Revlon honey balm stain and the nova Rimmel apocalips. You can also see how sheer the model co and stay glossy lip glosses are as well. I love these products as they can be super versatile, you can wear them on nights out or just during the day by just adjusting how much you apply of each product. They are just amazing products and other than the model co lip gloss I'll definitely be purchasing more shades in each of the other products I have mentioned? .

Do you have any of these products? Which are your favorites? Are there any products here that you have been tempted by? Leave me your comments below and I will respond to every single one.

Hey Everybody! Hope you are all well! So today I thought I would talk to you about Gabriella aka Velvetgh0st's home-ware range that was released into Primark stores across the country earlier this week. I've been speaking to Gabriella for just over three years now and she is honestly one of the loveliest people ever. I am so incredibly proud of her for everything she has overcome and everything she has achieved. When she told me she had a primark range coming out I was so excited as I knew it would all be amazing. It was only right that earlier this week on Tuesday (the release date) I headed into London and picked up some products from the range so here's what I bought and what I think of each product.

Smoothie Cup - £4
This is such a gorgeous cup! I absolutely love the pastel colors on it and it's such a lovely size as well. You can put any drink in this and you're good to go. I absolutely love it and for only £4 you just can't go wrong. The past couple of days I've been using it for green smoothies in the morning before I head off to work and then in the evening before I go to bed I have some cold water in there. It's just so handy.

Heart Mug - £3
Now I rarely drink warm drinks. I don't like tea or coffee so I basically don't own any mugs but I just found this one so cute. I loved the heart shape and the colors and I just think it will be so nice during the winter to just put hot chocolate or warm milk in it. I love it.

'Smile Dream Sparkle' Hook - £4
I absolutely love this hook and it was definitely the first thing I wanted to grab when I was in Primark. I have a terrible habit of putting my keys down somewhere and then forgetting where I have put them and then I get panicked and stressed out and blame everyone else when I can't find them as I always think someone has moved them. Oops. But now, this will definitely solve the problem. I am planning on putting it on the wall next to my bedroom door so as soon as I come in from work I can just put them there and they are they when I leave my room the next day. I also love the rose gold/copper colour too as I am yet to get over the rose gold/copper obsession oops.

Eye Mask - £1.80
I've never really been one to use eye masks however I couldn't resist purchasing this one as it's just so incredible cute. I love the cat design and I absolutely love the fact it's actually really soft and furry. It has the normal cat print that you can see then underneath it's bright pink which I absolutely love. Most eye masks are so boring but this is so adorable and looks really cute on my bedside table.

'Being Yourself' Print - £4
I absolutely love prints like this. Every door handle and drawer handle in my room has got a little inspirational quote on. Might sound silly but I think it's perfect for when I'm feeling a bit down in the dumps and need a little pick me up and I absolutely love this quote too. Too many people spend way too much time trying to fit in with the wrong crowd or changing who they are to fit in with a group of people or to impress someone and it's just wrong. Just be yourself! I think this is such a beautiful quote and I love the colors too! It would look so lovely just propped up on your dressing table I think.

So those are all the homeware bits and pieces I managed to get. I am going to eventually get all the products in the range (especially the fairy lights and other mug because I just love them so much) because Gabriella is my friend and obviously you support your friends but all the products are just so cute and adorable and super affordable so if you're worried about price please don't! They are only at selected primark stores I think so click HERE to see a list of stores where you can purchase everything here and more which include duvet sets, pillows and rose gold sequined cushions. They are also available at some stores across Northern Europe so click the link about to see where!

What is your favorite product from the range?

Hey Everyone! So today I wanted to do a bit of a different post to normal from personal experiences. I want to start talking about more things I'm passionate about and things that I consider to be really important on my blog instead of just the beauty posts I'm churning out. As it's that time in the summer season where lots of students are getting exam results I want to talk about how they are not the end of the world if you don't get what you wanted. This post is drawn up from personal experience so I hope you will enjoy reading it.

I turn 24 years old on Monday. That means I finished my GCSEs eight years ago. (2007) and trust me it really scares me saying that as I still feel like a 16 year old student at times. During my final GCSE year I spent more time trying to get the attention of a guy who had absolutely no interest in me and spent the time trying to fit in with a group of kids in my year who basically treated me like dirt. I've always had parents who were really strict and therefore did not let me go out so I guess you could say I rebelled a little bit as I just didn't want my life to be constant work even though I did work hard and spent a lot of time revising and studying with friends and neighbors.

When it comes to exams I'm one of those people who no matter how hard I study at something or work at something, the minute I step into an exam hall it all goes out of my head and I go into a state of panic purely because I'm overthinking and worrying too much instead of stepping into the hall and doing the best I start. My hard work just never ever seemed to pay off when I was studying in school. I'm a massive worrier anyway so nothing really puts my mind at ease however the older I've got the easier it's been to calm myself throughout exam situations.

I received my GCSE results in the summer of 2007 and sadly they were not what I expected. I didn't do well at all and ended up having to resit the entire year. I know what you're probably thinking. 'That sounds awful'. In actual fact it ended up being probably one of the best years of high school. There was a small group of us who had to resit that year including two of my best friends but we made sure to buckle down and work hard whilst making sure we also had fun. If there's one year I remember from high school it was definitely that year. It was incredible and we all ended up passing. which was amazing! After this I decided that I really wanted to do A Levels  but sadly I had a teacher who refused to let me back in. My parents and everyone booked meetings and did everything they could to get me in but it just wasn't happening and I was devastated because I really didn't want to have to go to college and leave all my friends behind. Because I'm a very shy, anxious person who always worries what people think of me I don't find it the easiest to make friends. I just didn't want to have to meet new people again, It scared me in a way so I really didn't know what was going to happen. The school still wouldn't let me back so I was a little upset about that as I wanted to go to university and I wasn't sure if I would still be able to do that if I was to go to college. However I ended up passing everything I retook and was incredibly happy and was able to finally move forward with my life.

During my retake year one of the subjects I studied was Double Award Leisure and Tourism. I absolutely loved it and from a young age was always interested in the tourism industry and really wanted to work for a major travel/tourism company. I was unaware of different courses offered at colleges and I had absolutely no idea that you could actually specialize in one subject so once I did my research with my parents I opted to do a BTEC National Diploma in Travel and Tourism which I absolutely loved. I ended getting a Distinction Distinction Merit (DDM) at the end of the course which I was incredibly chuffed with. I also got into 4/5 of my university choices as well! I unfortunately didn't get into my first choice which was Surrey University because my predicted grades were not what they wanted. They were looking for a DDM which as know now, I did end up getting and I did email them but it was too late so I ended up going to St Mary's University in Twickenham which was amazing and I don't regret any of it and ended up graduating with a second class honors degree which again made me so happy.

Fast forward 2 years since graduating and I've managed to work for two incredible tourism companies. Thomas Cook last year and British Airways this year. When I got my GCSE results on that cold day the day before my birthday I was devastated. However everything happens for a reason. If you told me back then I'd be working for one of the best companies in the travel and tourism industry I would have laughed in your face. What I learnt from my experiences is that I was still able to get to where I wanted to be, it just meant that I had to work a little harder. So if you didn't end up getting what you wanted please do not beat yourself up about it. Look at all available options. See what you can do and speak to everybody you can think of to help you get there. If you want to get somewhere and are truly passionate about something then all you have to do is prove that by working a little harder and you can fulfill any one of your dreams. If I can do it, then you definitely can do it. You are never too old to resit a year or go back into education or study for anything. It may not be the way you thought you'd get there but we all write our own destiny and if you are passionate enough about something then you will do whatever it takes to get there.

This post was longer than expected but I'll end it here by saying Congratulations to those of you who ended up getting the grades you wanted and for those of you who didn't get the grades you wanted I hope this post has made you feel a little bit more at ease and helped you realise that just because you haven't got the grades you wanted, it in noway means you can't achieve what you want to in life. If you want to talk or want some advice feel free to email me or tweet me over at xbellefleurx. If you want an advice post on college options/uni or anything like that then leave me a comment below and I'll get working on that soon!

What will you be doing this coming September?

Exam Results & Why They Are Not The Be All & End All

Hey Everyone! Hope you are all okay! As you are reading this post I am currently getting ready to go out to Central London to treat my brother. This will involve shopping, going out for dinner and then going to see the incredible Les Miserables at the Queens Theatre tonight. Something I am so incredibly excited about as ever since coming across the 25th Anniversary of the show it's been one of my favourite musicals and something I've wanted to witness in the West End. My brother, Mum and Dad all go on holiday for two weeks on Friday and I'm staying at home due to work commitments so I've just decided to treat my brother a little bit. I can't wait, but enough of that mini life update, time to get back into the point of this post.

This is my 300th ever blog post. How insane is that? Because of that I decided that today I would write a little bit of a motivational post. Recently in blogger chats I've seen a lot of people comparing themselves to other bloggers and putting themselves down and just not feeling like they are a decent blogger and even though I can totally relate to this it wasn't nice to see at all! I decided to sit down the other day and put together a little list of why us bloggers are absolutely incredible and why we should give ourselves a lot more credit so I thought why not share it with all of you on my blog today! Enjoy!

1. You have a hobby. Many people out there are still stuck trying to look for that one thing that makes them happy. One thing that they can do on a regular basis and something that makes them extremely happy. You already have that with your and forgive me for the cringiness, little piece of the internet. You go to work or college or uni, you come back and you work on your blog and try and better yourself at your hobby instead of going to take a 5 hour long nap or sitting on the couch and watching TV and doing nothing else. All of us blog with any spare time we have and that time is precious that could be spent doing other things. Dedicating your own time to blogging is pretty incredible and shows commitment which is definitely something that can help you in the future!

2. You don't just worry about your own blog. You worry about other blogs too. You give other girls and guys helpful tips through your posts or tweets. You help them out and encourage them, you follow them and share their posts if it is something you like. You are incredibly supportive and that definitely makes you a fantastic blogger and shows how caring, supportive and encouraging you are too which are all fantastic traits to have. The blogging community would not be as friendly or amazing without you so well done!

3. Your blog is all you. Your writing, your photos, your ideas, your opinions. Everything on that blog screams you. Nothing is fake or unrealistic. All these things can help inspire and encourage other people and that's a pretty powerful and amazing thing to do. We live in a generation where everything tends to be spoon fed to us through the world wide web. If we want to find something we tend to google it and it pops up on screen in a number of seconds. However instead of relying on other people's opinions we throw our own two cents in and share what we think with others. Your opinion matters to probably hundreds of people and that's absolutely fantastic.

4. Whether you have 10 followers, 100 followers or even 1000 followers, you've gained a small following of people who want to come and read your blog and are interested in whatever you have to say. That's pretty incredible. Some people work so hard for months to get noticed by even one person so no matter how small your milestone you should be incredibly proud of yourself. Don't worry about not being that pretty fashionable blogger with 100,000 followers. Be proud of what you've accomplished so far. Every step no matter how small counts and is something to be congratulated!

5. Lastly but not least blogging is hard work and at times can be super stressful so if you are a relatively new blogger or whether you have been blogging for years. You've bitten the bullet and gotten through all the stress. It's not an easy task coming into a community that is becoming increasingly more prominent and joining in especially with the amount of pressure there is nowadays but you are getting through it and loving it and that's something you should be so incredibly proud of.

So there we have it. Five small reasons as to why you are an amazing blogger. Just remember to never ever compare yourself to other bloggers and to never ever put yourself down about your blog as no matter what you blog about you are sharing your passion on the internet where potentially hundreds of people will see it and that's a pretty incredible thing to do. Forget how many people are following your blog. Everyone has to start somewhere and if you love what you do then that is the most important thing. That love and passion will bounce off the screen and other people will love what you do too. The blogging community is not an easy place to be at times but you are here. Blogging is fun and the community is a really fun, warm and welcoming place to be. If you ever need advice or a little bit of motivation then feel free to tweet me at xbellefleurx or comment below or even send me an email (link at the side of my blog). I'll always be here to chat about any worries you have and will 100% support you all!

Now grab yourselves a glass of champagne/prosecco/rose and congratulate yourself on the fantastic blogger you are.

Hey Everyone! So as you can see this isn't a beauty related post as I've decided to mix up my blog and add lifestyle posts throughout it as well. If you are not interested in books or these kinds of posts then please feel free to exit this post right now.

As the summer holiday season is almost coming to an end I thought I would share with you some of my favorite books of this summer so far. Everyone loves a good read when they are on holiday particularly if you have a long flight, or are spending the day at the beach. I've always been quite a big reader. I have 5 cupboards around my house that are just full of my books. I love nothing more than putting my laptop and iPad down , plugging in my iPod getting into a really good book and just escaping from reality for a couple of hours. There's no better remedy for forgetting about all your worries. This year I decided that I would read more books and now that my degree is complete I finally have the time for that. These are the books I have been enjoying this past year and I would highly recommend each and every one. I will write the synopsis that is at the back of the book below each title and what I think about it.

The Single Girl's To Do List (Lindsey Kelk)
An incredibly book that will inspire you so much if you have just been through a break up. Get out there and live. Everything happens for a reason.
Rachael Summers loves a to-do list that includes boyfriend, flat, great job. What's not on the list however is being dumped. Best friends Emelie and Matthew ride to Rachel Summers rescue with an entirely new kind of list. The single girl's to-do list. Rachael doesn't know it but it will take her on all kinds of wild adventures and get her into some romantic pickles too. The Single Girl's To Do List gives Rachael the perfect heartbreak cure and proves love is out there if you're willing to take a chance.

I Heart London (Lindsey Kelk)
I've just started this book and I'm loving it so far but will be taking it on holiday next week when I go.
Angela Clark has fallen in love with New York-and it's starting to love her back. But when she's summoned home to England she is at risk of losing her shiny new life to rain, warm beer and bad memories. Talk about stepping back in time. There's Mark, the ex-boyfriend who she went to New York to get away from, Louisa her best friend with a terrifying new baby and there's her mum, still talking to her as though she's 15. Now there's a wedding in the offing - and everyone remembers how well Angela behaved at the last one. Can the arrival of boyfriend Alex and new best friend Jenny save her from a re-run of her old self?

Girl In The Mirror/The Memory Maker (Cecelia Ahern)
This book has two stories in one book at the moment I've only read Girl In The Mirror and love it.
Lila knows how lucky she is to have found the man of her dreams. But when a secret from her family's past comes to light on her wedding day, her destiny changes in the most unexpected of ways. The memory maker is about never forgetting your first love. But what happens when those cherished memories start to fade? Some people would do anything to hold on to the past and for one heartbroken man, that means finding a way to relive those precious moments.

Where Rainbows End (Cecelia Ahern)
One of my favorite books and if you are looking for an easy read definitely choose this book.
Since childhood Rosie and Alex have stuck by each other through thick and thin. But they're suddenly separated when Alex and his family move from Dublin to America. Their magical connection remains but can their friendship survive the years and miles? Misunderstandings, circumstances and sheer bad luck have kept them apart - until now. But will they gamble everything, including their friendship - on true love? And what twists and surprises does fat have in store for them this time...?

The Best Of Me (Nicholas Sparks)
I haven't read this one yet and will be taking it on holiday with me. It's definitely my kind of story though. They were teenage sweethearts from opposite sides of the tracks - with a passion that would change their lives forever. But life would force them apart. Years later the lines between past and present are about to slip...Called back to their hometown for the funeral of the mentor who gave them shelter when they needed it most, they are faced with each other one again. Can true love re-write the past?

Safe Haven (Nicholas Sparks)
If you liked the film. You will LOVE the book.
When a mysterious young woman named Katie appears in the small town of Southport, her sudden arrival raises questions about her past. Beautiful yet unassuming, Katie is determined to avoid forming personal ties until a series of events draws her into two reluctant relationships. Despite her reservations, Katie slowly begins to lower her guard, putting down roots in the close knit community. But even as Katie starts to fall in love, she struggles with the dark secret that still haunts her...

The Perks of Being A Wallflower (Stephen Chbosky)
I love the book but personally wasn't a big fan of the film. I found it hard to get into. But the book is amazing. Charlie is a freshman and while he's not the biggest geek in the school he is by no means popular. Shy, introspective, intelligent beyond his years yet socially awkward, he is a wallflower, caught between trying to live his life and trying to run from it. Charlie is attempting to navigate his way through uncharted territory; the world of first dates and mixed tapes, family dramas and new friends; the world of sex, drugs and The Rocky Horror Picture show, when all one requires is the perfect song on that perfect drive to feel infinite. But Charlie can't stay on the sideline forever. Standing on the fringes of life offers a unique perspective. But there comes a time to see what it looks like from the dance floor.

The Fault In Our Stars (John Green)
This book is incredibly sad so if you choose to read it make sure to have a box of tissues next to you. It is absolutely amazing though. I love it.
Despire the tumor shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final character inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel's story is about to be completely rewritten.

Looking For Alaska (John Green)
I've recently finished this book and it is incredible. Like with The Fault In Our Stars I needed a few tissues.
Alaska Young. Gorgeous, clever, funny, sexy, screwed up - and utterly fascinating. Miles Halter could not be more in love with her. But when tragedy strikes, Miles discovers the value and the pain of living and loving unconditionally.

So those are my summer books. They are perfect for this season I think. Let me know in the comments if you have read any of this books. Have you read anything new this summer not on my list that you think I might enjoy? Let me know below and I will be sure to check them out.

Hey There Everyone! So I'm officially back blogging and I couldn't be happier. Despite now having a job where I work shift time and not really being able to blog as much as I would like anymore when I do blog I feel extremely happy about it when I do. Blogging every minute of every day before I got this job was making fall slightly out of love with blogging as I was literally treating it like my job. Now I blog when I have time and about topics I want to write about and it's made me feel more passionate about it than ever. Yay! Anyway before I ramble too much let me get back into the point of this post.

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past few weeks then you should be aware of the Virgin Mojito Range that was recently introduced by the Body Shop. Not going to lie here I was a little bit apprehensive of this as I wasn't too keen on their recent additions such as the Green Tea collection. I just wasn't a fan of the scent. I prefer more sweeter scents but when I went into the Body Shop and gave this a sniff for the first time I was in love. It's such a fresh summery scent that just lingers on the skin. I couldn't resist anymore and had to pick up three products from the collection, the shower gel, body butter and body scrub and I think these are the perfect summer body treats. Keep reading to find out my thoughts on each individual product so far! Bear in mind I've been using them every day for the past week so this is more of a first impressions type post!

First up is the body butter! Now I'm, a huge fan of the body shop's body butters. I just find them so incredibly hydrating and amazing for the skin. No matter where I am there is always one in my bathroom, on my dressing table, in my bag, I just always have one. They are incredible. I know a lot of people say that these are not really the best body butters to use in the warmer months as they are very thick and can take a long time to sink into the skin but I think for people like me who have very, very dry skin then this is perfect. Yes it takes slightly longer to sink into the skin so I wouldn't recommend this if you're using it in the mornings but for evenings after a bath or shower then it is perfect. The scent just lingers on the skin but it's not to overpowering. I absolutely love it.

I've never actually tried a body scrub from The Body Shop before so I was intrigued but I must admit that I absolutely love it. It's incredible. It really does leave my skin feeling soft and smooth and there's no rough patches anywhere. I absolutely love it. I like to use this on my legs before I shave them too as it just leaves them super soft and smooth which is always good! Nobody likes lizard legs! Definitely one I would highly recommend. I love the feeling of scrubs on my skin as my skin always feels nice and exfoliated.

The final item in the range that I bought was the shower gel. Just your standard every day shower gel really, I'm a little bit unsure as to how to describe this one. It lathers up really well, leaves your skin smelling absolutely amazing and just leaves the skin feeling super soft and smooth. I absolutely love it. This is only £4 too which for the body shop is fairly cheap!

I absolutely love all of these products and will definitely be buying a couple more things like the body splash and sorbet but right now these three just go so well together and leave my skin smelling and feeling super fresh. Definitely my second favorite scent in the Body Shop range! It would be my favorite but I am just way to obsessed with the Mango one to reduce my love for it! Oops! If you are interested in any of these products or want to browse more of the products that The Body Shop has to offer then just click HERE. Be sure to leave in the comments any other scents you reckon I should try from The Body Shop.

Have you tried The Virgin Mojito Range from The Body Shop?

Hey everyone! So the summer holidays are here and so many people on twitter and facebook and even instagram are all jetting off on their new adventures abroad. Lots of tweets I've been seeing recently have been asking for some good holiday books. These four books that are photographed are the first four that popped into my head. Every single one of them are so easy to read and perfect for holidays. They are all along the lines of rom-coms though so if you're not into that sort of thing then I would highly advise you to exit this post now. I'm going to do this post a bit differently instead of reviewing them and tell you what they are like. Obviously I'm writing this post so you already know how much I love all these books but so that you can make your own minds up I will write the synopsis of each book first and then tell you my thoughts in a couple of lines!

Love, Rosie (Originally Called Where Rainbows End) - Cecilia Ahern
Synopsis: Sometimes fate can't stop meddling...Since childhood Rosie and Alex have stuck by each other through thick and thin. But they are separated when Alex and his family move from Dublin to America. Their magical connection remains but can their friendship survive the years and miles? Misunderstandings, circumstances and sheer bad luck have kept them apart-until now. But will they gamble everything - including their friendship - on true love? And what twists and surprises does fate have in store for them this time.

This book is by the same author who wrote PS I Love You, Cecelia Ahern, so I knew it was bound to be good and I wasn't disappointed. I absolutely love it. I love books that follow relationships of two people who have remained friends since a very young age and this hasn't disappointed. If you didn't already know, Love, Rosie is now a film too however I'd highly recommend reading the book first. It's incredible. I absolutely love the characters especially Rosie. She just reminds me so much of myself. Definitely a book that will make you both laugh and cry in equal measure.

The Single Girls To Do List - Lindsey Kelk
Synopsis: Rachel Summers loves a to-do list. Boyfriend, flat, great job. NOT on the list: Being dumped. Best friends Emelie and Matthew ride to her rescue with an entirely new kind of list: The Single Girl's To Do List. Rachel doesn't know it, but it will take her on all kinds of wild adventures - and get her in some romantic pickles too. And when it won't be a case of what but who she decides to tick off. Mr Bendy yoga instructor, Mr teenage sweetheart, Mr Persistent Ex, Mr deeply unsuitable. The Single Girl's To Do List gives Rachel the perfect heartbreak cure and proves love is out there if you're willing to take a chance.

This was the first Lindsey Kelk book I ever read. I think it was Zoe who actually spoke about it on her twitter and got me intrigued about it, so I decided to go out and buy it and I wasn't left disappointed. I absolutely love it. It's such a feel good story that is perfect to read if you're going through your own heartbreak! We all need friends like Emelie and Matthew in our lives! It's the perfect holiday book! I actually really want this book made into a film!

Can You Keep A Secret? - Sophie Kinsella
Synopsis: Emma is sitting on a turbulent plane. She's always been a very nervous flyer. She really thinks that this could be her last moment. So naturally enough she starts telling the man sitting next to her, quite a dishy American, but she's too frightened to notice all her most innermost secrets. How she scans the backs of intellectual books and pretends she's read them. How she does her hair up like Princess Leia in her bedroom. How she's not sure if she has a G-spot and whether her boyfriend could find it anyway. How she feels like a fraud at work - everyone uses the word operational all the time but she hasn't a clue what it means. How the coffee at work is horrible. How she once threw a troublesome client file in the bin. If ever there was a bare soul, it's hers. She survives the flight, of course, and the next morning the famous founding boss of the whole mega corporation she works for is coming for a look at the UK branch. As he walks around, Emma looks up and realizes...It's the man from the plane. What will he do with her secrets? He knows them all - but she doesn't know a single one of his. Or...does she?

There are not enough words in the English language to describe just how much I love this book. It's honestly incredible and perfect for your holidays. There's definitely a few lessons to take away from this book such as honesty, standing up for yourself and most importantly trust. Make sure you know exactly who to trust before sharing your secrets. I think this is the perfect book for reading when you're chilling out besides the pool.

Dream A Little Dream  - Giovanna Fletcher
Synopsis: Sarah is doing just fine. Sure she's been single for the last give years, and has to spend an uncomfortable amount of time around her ex-boyfriend and their mutual friends, and the rest at her tediously mundane job, but it's fine. She's happy(ish). But it's not surprising that when Sarah starts dreaming about a handsome stranger, she begins looking forward to falling asleep at night. Reality isn't nearly as exciting. That is until her dream-stranger makes an unexpected real-life appearance, leaving Sarah questioning everything she thought she wanted. Because people never really find the person of their dreams...do they?

I don't know what it is about Giovanna Fletcher's books but it literally always takes me a day to get through her books. They are just so brilliantly written and so hard to put down. If you don't know who Giovanna Fletcher is she is Tom from McFly's wife. If you are looking for a book about friendship and unrequited love then this is for you. It's just amazing and so beautifully written. All of Giovanna's books have me wishing they could be made into films as they are just so good and I can always picture the characters in my head.

I love every single one of these books and I would definitely re-read them as they are all incredible. Even if you're not off on holiday and maybe just in the mood for some good reading material then these are definitely four books that I'd highly recommend they are so good. If you can recommend me some reads too, it doesn't matter what genre then make sure to leave them in the comments below as I absolutely love reading and always on the look out for some new books.

What have you been reading lately?

What have you been reading lately?

Hey Everyone! Hope you are all okay! So today I thought I'd talk to you about my favorite product to use in the shower at the moment and that is the Cafe De Bain shower cremes. A girl I know from my training with Thomas Cook last year actually messaged me to let me know about this purely because she thought it would be something I would like and something I could blog about and as you can see she wasn't wrong. I absolutely love them! Keep reading to find out more about why I like them.

First things first, just look at the packaging?! Isn't it so pretty? Now these shower cremes comes at a ridiculously cheap price of £2.99, but you would never think that by just looking at them! The gorgeous gold lids and old style logos on the top make them look super high end. I also love the fact they come in really pretty pastel colors too which makes it really easy to spot in the shops and easily distinguishes them from other shower gels and cremes in the shops. They also look extremely pretty and luxurious on my shower rack in my bathroom. I also love the fact they are 250ML as well! That is a lot of shower creme! It should last you ages!

When it comes to shower gels and cremes I always opt for those which have a sweet scent. Mainly because I think they last longer and smell nicer and it's just a personal preference. I basically like to smell like freshly baked deserts apparently. These definitely don't disappoint. They smell absolutely incredible but they are not too overpowering either which is extremely important when it comes to sweeter scents I reckon as too sweet can be very off putting. The Raspberry and Rose shower creme smells very much like when you walk into a cake shop and are hit by all the gorgeous baked treats scent. It's just delicious! The Cherry and Almond shower creme smells a bit like marzipan is just amazing. Definitely a lovely fresh and sweet scent.

In terms of the formulation, I find these to be extremely thick and creamy (well obviously, they are cremes). I find that these definitely leave my skin feeling extremely soft and smooth as well. I find that these definitely leave your skin feeling extremely moisturized as well. When it comes to lathering up in the shower I do find that this works best with a loofer or shower puff or whatever it is you would like to call it. I am a bit of a bubble freak so I like my shower cremes and gels to have as much lather as possible as I like the way it makes my skin feel. I'm not weird at all I promise you!

Overall I absolutely love these shower cremes and will highly recommend them. There are four in the range all together and the other two scents in the range are Sweet Vanilla and Coconut Macaroon both of which I've already had a sniff of and they definitely smell incredible. I mean for only £2.99 you just can't go wrong with these.

What are your favorite shower cremes/gels? Do you prefer sweet or fresher scents?
