Well, where do I even begin with this post?! I guess the polite thing to do would be to apologize for my lack of content lately! I've just been so busy that I've totally neglected my blog which is something I never thought I would do so for that I apologize. Secondly, I'd like to thank you all for your lovely comments, tweets and emails regarding my blog lately. I've received some lovely supportive encouraging messages especially when I've been feeling really low about it so thank you much.

If you weren't already aware for the past month and a bit I've been training for a new job. As you can probably tell from the photo above that job is with British Airways. Training was an intense full time 6 day a week experience with a couple of exams that I just had to pass if not I wouldn't be writing this post now. The pass mark for both was 80% and I got 81% in the first one and 95% in the second one which I was overjoyed about! It did mean however that I had no life for that month, however all my hard work paid off and I'm officially a BA staff member and I couldn't be happier.

I spent six years of my life studying tourism as that was always the industry I wanted to work in and last year it seemed to pay off by me getting a job with Thomas Cook over in Turkey for six months. I absolutely loved it and it was definitely one of the best experiences of my life and was something I was looking forward to doing again this year however, I felt that I needed to get something a bit more permanent in the UK so I applied for so many jobs and didn't get anywhere which I'm sure you all know can be a bit daunting and upsetting. Finally the opportunity came up to work for BA and as I've always wanted to work in an airport I applied! I just love the atmosphere and the hustle and bustle of it all and it just makes me really happy being in that sort of environment. I'm just so happy that all my hard work paid off and I got the job and passed training. Now here I am about to start my second week in my BA career and I'm so excited.

I work shift times so this could be an incredibly early start, or a later start and because of this I've been so exhausted and so tired. When I have had free time I've been spending it seeing my family and my friends and let's be honest here, sleeping because I definitely need a lot of that at the moment as I'm sure those of you who do shift work will be aware of! Don't get me wrong though, I don't mind shift work at all and even though it has been hard and there was a few tears throughout training I believe I am in the right job. I love how busy it is, I love the different types of people I work with on a daily basis, I love people watching and most of all I just love that no two days are ever the same. I work across two terminals which are both completely different and I absolutely love the different atmospheres in both of them.

Right now in my life I am extremely happy. I have amazing friends, my family even though it's hard to get their full support sometimes are happy that I'm happy and I'm in a job I've always dreamed of having. If this experience has taught me anything is to never doubt yourself. Always believe in yourself and work hard. No dream is ever to big or too far to reach. Life is good and I am so excited to see what the rest of 2015 has to offer. It didn't get off to the best start but is now looking incredible! I'll end this post here by showing you a few photos from my graduation day at BA.

Summer 2015 Fashion Wishlist

Hey everyone! Hope you are all well and are having a lovely relaxing weekend. After a week of 4:30AM starts I was absolutely shattered and I've just had a lovely couple of days off so I decided to spend the last couple of days just blogging, watching the Wimbledon final (Well Done Djokovic) and just relaxing. I'm back to work tomorrow though. Why do days off go so fast?! Today I thought I'd do a simple post showing you all the fashion bits and bobs I'm lusting over this season! Enjoy!

You know that saying that every girl should have a LBD in her wardrobe? Well, I think that saying also applies to LRD's too! I spotted this number in New Look a few days ago and fell in love with it! It's such a gorgeous, gorgeous dress, very flowy and perfect for the summer days or evenings out. I absolutely love it and can't wait till payday comes around so I can purchase it!

I've been after a shirt like this for quite a long time now as I spotted them on quite a few people but was never sure where to purchase them. I think they are so classy and I love the tie on the collar too. I just think this will be perfect paired with a little skirt or shorts for the summer months.

Cream Lace Long Sleeve Shirt
I spotted a very similar shirt like this on the gorgeous Jade from Little Mix and it looked absolutely stunning but I didn't know where she got it from. I then spotted it on the River Island website and decided to order it straight away as it is just super pretty! Again I think this will be perfect for the summer months paired with shorts or a little skirt. I love the lace design on it too!

Shell Pink Sleeveless Blazer
I'm really into the whole sleeveless blazer look at the moment. I am the sort of person who always likes to be covered so whether it's a jacket or thick cardigan or even a normal blazer I'm always in something like that, however because it's been so warm in the UK recently I've been looking at the sleeveless blazer option. I think they are so cute and stylish and I absolutely love this pink one from New Look as I think it's one of those statement pieces that will go with absolutely everything in my wardrobe!

Light Blue Woven Sleeveless Jacket
This is probably my favourite item I've featured in this post. I just absolutely love it. Again it's another sleeveless blazer look but I think it's such a pretty colour and will definitely be perfect for work as it's stylish but also super smart. You can dress it up or dress it down. I think it's gorgeous. I'll definitely be purchasing this at the end of the month!

Mint Heeled Sandals
When it comes to shoes, I'm just not the type of girl to spend loads on new pairs. However I spotted this on asos and fell in love with them. I think they are super pretty. I've got a white dress in my wardrobe and a mint green blazer and I just think this to finish off the outfit would look super pretty. I love the heels on them too as they are not to high or too low which makes them perfect for day/evening wear.

This item is definitely a little risky for me as it's definitely not something I'd normally wear. However this summer I've decided to be a bit more daring with colour choices and everything else. I absolutely love the style of this playsuit as I think it's super pretty and the color just screams summer. Definitely hoping to get my hands on this in the near future.

Most of the bags I have are brown or black and dark and mainly used for work and stuff. However for those summer days where I'm planning a meet up with friends or an evening out I definitely need a smaller bag and I think this gorgeous white crossbody number is perfect. It's so pretty and stylish and the fact it's crossbody means it's perfect for shopping trips too! Gotta have those hands free after all!

So there we have it, my summer payday fashion wishlist. The shops have got some gorgeous clothes in the moment. Definitely need to stick to a limit when I hit the shops later on this month. Do you like any of the items here? Have you got anything listed here? If you like the look of these items then just click on the names of them and it'll take you straight on over to the website.

Hey Everyone! It feels weird to be writing a monthly favorites post this far into the next month because normally it's already up by now! However, better late than never I suppose! I've just been so busy with training for my new job that I've been way to exhausted to even look at my computer when I get home but I'm hear now, so before I ramble too much here are all the things I've was loving throughout June!

Beauty

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation
I did a full review of this foundation which you will be able to find HERE so I won't go into too much detail here but I absolutely love this foundation. I haven't been wearing it much the past few days because it's been absolutely boiling in the UK. I absolutely how full coverage this is and the fact it leaves such a lovely dewy healthy glow on the skin which makes it perfect for this time of the year. Definitely worth all the hype, so if you haven't tried this yet I'd highly recommend it.

Revlon Lip Butter in 'Berry Smoothie'
I don't even know why I include this lip butter in every monthly favorites as I'm sure you all know by now how much I love it. It just provides so much moisture and colour to my lips and is just the perfect every day shade. It's one of the few shades of red that actually suits me too! I just love it so much.

Strawberry & Raspberry Shower Foam
My new shower buddy is this gorgeous shower foam that I found in Superdrug. I've never really used shower foams but I when I spotted this I decided that I would give it a whirl and I absolutely love it. It leaves my skin feeling super soft and the scent isn't too strong or overpowering either. I'd highly recommend this if you're after a new shower gel/soap type thing.

Garnier Pure Active Miceller Cleansing Water
This cleansing water feels so incredibly light and refreshing on the skin. I also love the way it clears and purifies my skin and gets rid of every scrap of make up too. I would highly recommend this cleansing water if you're after a new one too try. Cheap as chips too!

Optimals 'Seeing Is Believing' Eye Cream
I can't remember if I have ever mentioned this eye cream before on my blog but I absolutely love this eye cream. I think I'll be doing a full review in the future as I think it's one a lot of you would like! It's just so incredibly hydrating and really helps to reduce all that puffiness I get around my eyes. I also find it really refreshing to use especially in all those early morning starts I've been having recently. Definitely one I'd recommend.

Non-Beauty

Collabro - Act Two
I'm sure you all know how much I love these guys. I absolutely loved their first album so when I found out they were releasing a second album I was extremely excited. This in my opinion  is 100x better than the first album. It has so many amazing songs on it and a lot of you will love every single song on this. I was lucky enough to go along to a live recording of a show they did with Katherine Jenkins in London in the middle of June where I also got to meet them and hearing them sing some of my favorite musical theater tracks live was just so incredibly special. These guys are just brilliant live! Definitely one to check out if you haven't already.

Gone Girl
I heard so much about this book and film that when I popped into Waterstones a few weeks ago I decided to purchase it and I'm glad I did as I absolutely loved it. I finished reading it in 3 days I loved it so much. It's definitely a dark story and not something I expected at all. I still have the film to watch so I'll let you know how I get on with that once I've watched it!

Doughnut Bun Ring
Not your everyday product you see make an appearance in a favorites post but I've decided to include it because this little bun has literally been my best friend the past few weeks. For training for my new job it's a requirement that we have to wear our hair in a bun. Now I've never ever had my hair in a bun...ever. I rarely put my hair up into a pony tail so I was absolutely dreading this. However I absolutely love this doughnut as it has made life so much easier for me when it comes to buns. I still hate having my hair in one mind you but it makes life so much simpler.

Enchanted Forest Coloring Book
Yes I did buy a coloring book. No I am not 5! I've actually been seeing these a lot on social media lately purely to help me when I get a bit anxious and nervous instead of doing what I always do and result to biting my nails. It really has helped! It's just so therapeutic and relaxing and I love getting in touch with my more creative side too. If you're an anxious person or need a bit of a stress relief at the end of the day I would highly recommend buying one of these. They are amazing.

The Blogging Community
I couldn't write this post without including a comment about the blogging community. June was a very sad time for us as we had two very sad losses but it was so lovely to see how we all came together and sent each other words of support and wrote blog posts supporting one another and writing words of encouragement. It has been lovely to be apart of as there are times when the blogging community can be quite a horrible place to be so it's lovely to see how even when there's bad times we all pull through and realise life is just to short for all that negativity!

So there we have it, all the products that I've been loving throughout June. I'm loving combining everything beauty and non-beauty into these posts as I think personally it makes it a lot more interesting for the reader so I hope you have all enjoyed this post. Be sure to leave in the comments your own opinions on any of these products if you've used them!

What have you been loving throughout June?

Hi Everyone! So because I have been so busy recently this post is going up slightly later than normal but I hope you don't mind. Now I know what people have been talking about when they say working full time very often means no time for blogging. However I'm thoroughly enjoying life at the moment as it's so busy and no two days are the same and I feel a lot happier too! But before I ramble on too much here are a list of my favorite songs of June. Enjoy!

4. Hairspray Soundtrack - Good Morning Baltimore
5. Hilary Duff - Sparks
6. Collabro  - I Won't Give Up
7. Jersey Boys Soundtrack - Who Loves You?
8. Collabro - No Matter What
9. Collabro - Circle Of Life
10. Lindsay Lohan - Ultimate
11. James Bay - Let It Go
12. Ed Sheeran - Photograph
13. Boyce Avenue - Mirrors
14. Collabro - Memory
15. Taylor Swift - Love Story
16. Olly Murs - Beautiful To Me
17. Sam Smith - I'm Not The Only One
18. Jersey Boys - Sherry
19. Kodaline - Human Again
20. Alex and Sierra - Little Do You Know
21. Tori Kelly & Ed Sheeran - I Was Made For Loving You (SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!)
22. Leona Lewis - Fire Under My Feet
23. Carrie Fletcher - Keep Up With My Love

In June Collabro's new album was released and I know you all know how much I love that bad. Yes it may be cringe worthy to some of you but I just love them so much. I also went to West End Live two weekends ago and saw all the amazing shows perform little snippets on stage in Trafalgar Square and it was amazing so that is also why there is a lot of musical theater songs on here too. I still need to update my playlist on there as there are some songs on here I've included that aren't actually on my spotify playlist so bear with me whilst I do that.

What are you favorite songs at the moment? Can you recommend me any new artist, bands or songs for July?!

So this is one of those posts that I am writing late at night because it's something I've been thinking about a lot the past couple of days and I have had such a heavy heart and been a little bit overwhelmed with how sad I've been feeling but hopefully this post will make sense to some of you, particularly those of you who have been on social media over the weekend.

This weekend was a busy one for me. I was completing my training for my new role with British Airways where I started at 8AM and didn't finish till around 5-5:30PM in the afternoon. During this time I heard about the horrible situation in Tunisia where a man took a gun and shot 38+ people dead. These people were on holiday with their family and friends. I know people who are working in Tunisia with Thomas Cook doing the same role I did last year and to think that could have happened to them just makes me so sad. Fast forward to the next day and I see a tweet from Lily Melrose to say a lovely girl from the blogging community was amongst those who had been shot. I won't lie by telling you I honestly burst into tears. I didn't know the girl that much and exchanged a few tweets via the bloggers chats but to know that happened to someone I interacted with just made me feel so incredibly sad.

Fast forward 24 hours and I see more tweets about a blogger who had sadly passed away that evening. 2 beautiful girls from the blogging community were taken from us. 2 girls who are near enough the same age as me, who blogged and tweeted and lived their lives doing what they loved like I am. 2 girls who I interacted with and whose blogs I read regularly. To know they are no longer with us and to know I'll never ever see a tweet or blog post from them ever again fills me up with great sadness. I will not mention their names as I do not want to use their names purely for a blog post as that's just heartless but I felt like this post was important for me to write anyway as I've realised I need to stop being such a negative person and start living life to the fullest as it's events like this that make you realise how lucky you are to be alive.

It is now July. It is now the 7th month of 2015 and next month I'll be turning 24 years old. If any of these events have taught me anything it is that life is so incredibly precious and way to short. To think that 10 years ago I was doing my GCSEs is just so scary and looking back over the past 10 years I found myself thinking 'What have I done? What have I been doing with my life?'. I've been given so many opportunities and have taken the bare minimum and I have so much regret for this however that was in the past and I shouldn't have regrets about this as obviously it was what I wanted back then.

From now on I promise to do the following things.

  • Take every opportunity that presents itself to me even if I have doubts. If you don't try you will never know.
  • Tell everyone in my life how much they mean to me and say 'I Love You' to everyone in my life. This is a hard one for me as I'm not a very expressive person. I rarely tell people I love them or how much they mean to me as I'm scared and terrified of the reaction. I just don't open up easily however I've realised now that I have too as we never know how long we have left.
  • If I want to do something do it. Don't think 'That can be done tomorrow' or 'I'll save it for a rainy day'. Tomorrow isn't guaranteed.
  • Look at things more from a positive point of view. For example I'm finding my job training really hard at the moment and I'm thinking really negatively about it rather than thinking 'This . is one of those jobs that I've always wanted, if I work hard enough and put 110% effort in then I can do it. I can complete the training and start living life a lot more.
  • Challenge my shyness. I'm an incredibly shy person. I've never had a boyfriend and I can barely speak to new people because I'm so quite and scared and worried about their first impressions of me and now I realise I have to let all that go and become more confident within myself as I know this is one way I'll fulfill becoming a more confident person.
  • Stop feeling guilty about spending money. As a close friend once told me, we don't take our money with us when we leave this world. If we want something or have finally saved up for something do it! Life is too short for umms and ahhs.
The fact that two beautiful young girls have left this world without even getting a change to see it properly and fulfill all the dreams and wishes that they had brings such sadness to my heart. My thoughts are with all their family and friends. I posted this on twitter the other day but I'll post it here to for those of you who don't follow me on there. I'm sending out so much love to all of you today. Like I said earlier in this post, life is way to short and way to precious. Live it to the fullest and of course we will have days when we fill sad and that the whole world is against as and things may seem like they'll never be the same again but I promise you it will be. Every cloud has a silver lining. You are all beautiful and amazing and you deserve to hear that at least once a day. Be kind to each other too as like the quote states 'Everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle'.

I hope this post made sense as it's one I've been wanting to write for a long time but never really knew how to word it but I hope you understand what I mean. The blogging community has been one filled with so much sadness the past few days but it has been amazing to see what a tight knit group we all are and how we are there for one another and do our best to make sure everyone is picked up if we are feeling down. Yes it may have it's dramas but we all pull together when something tragic happens and I think that's one of the most beautiful things about it. This will definitely be one of those posts that I'll look back on next time I'm angry and moaning about something that really won't matter in the next 10 minutes.

A New Month, A New Outlook On Life...
