Hey Everyone! So as you all know I am currently in Majorca training for a job with Thomas Cook. I do apologize for not blogging but until the end of next week I won't be able to do beauty reviews or anything as I am super busy. I start super early in the morning and finish super late at night so I hope you can understand.

Don't worry though, I did buy a range of products with me and I have spotted a few beauty bits in the shops around Majorca so you will have a lot of posts coming up soon! I finish my training next Thursday and Friday I will hopefully be in Turkey if I successfully pass this course. I really do miss blogging but I'm sure you all know that what I do with my life is more important than what I do online. It is still my passion and I haven't given it up I promise!

Majorca is beautiful though, the hotel is lovely, the staff training us are all super lovely, my potential colleagues are amazing and so lively and are so easy to get along with, the weather is absolutely beautiful as well so I am really enjoying myself right now. I look forward to the day when I am finally working in Turkey doing what I am training to do which is to be a Kids Rep. Hard work but it will be incredibly rewarding and I have already made friends I know I will have for a very long time.

Before I get back to revising for a quiz I have tomorrow, I will leave you with a picture of my view from my balcony. I am staying at the Hotel Mimosa in Majorca if you are interested. It is a beautiful view! I shall keep you updated throughout the week but I thought it would be rude to not update you (you might not even care) on what I have been up too!

So leave comments on anything you would like to know (training is confidential so no information can be given out about that) but if you are perhaps interested in a kids rep position and would like to know more then leave a comment below and I will get back to you! Follow me on instagram which is xbellefleurx where I'll post photos when throughout training and I'll speak to you next week!

Heya Everyone! So today I thought I would do a little bit of a different post. As I am leaving the country for six months Tuesday morning I have taken a step back and just reflected on my life for the past 6/7 years and just how much I have changed. Because of this I have decided that I would do a 'Dear Younger Self' post. I really like the concept of this post and believe me there are so many things that I would tell my younger self if I could. The above photos are me at 15 years old. So let's get started.

Dear 15 Year Old Fleur,
Stop taking life so seriously and worrying about every little thing. Don't worry about being in the bottom sets at school and don't be so upset about having to redo your GCSE's because that retake year will turn out to be one of the best school years of your life. You will end up passing your GCSE retakes with flying colors. Don't worry about a certain teacher telling you that you will never get to university and choosing not to let you do a-levels. You will get a place studying a pretty amazing qualification at college which will then take you on to university where you will graduate with a second class honors degree proving that horrible teacher wrong!

Don't worry about not having a boyfriend. Boys at that age are annoying, immature and quite frankly you are better off without them. Don't worry about being single because you are 15 years old and still have plenty of time to get a boyfriend. Don't choose to be in a relationship for the sake of it or because all your friends appear to be. Talk to that boy you like and try to become friends. Stop talking to him on MSN all night and pluck up the courage to talk to him in school. You really like him so go speak to him! You will just regret it for the next few years if you don't! You will also come across some pretty disgusting excuses for men and witness friends' relationships that will make you glad you are single trust me! They just aren't worth it!

When it comes to friends, focus on your true friends and quit trying so hard to fit in within the popular crowd. A group of boys and girls who really don't care about you and who take pleasure in teasing you and making your life hard. Do not invite them to your 16th birthday party as you have nothing in common with them and they will not appreciate the effort you have made. They will not say thank you and their behavior will cause your Dad to kick them out at 10PM. They are not your friends and do not care in the slightest about you. They might act like it but they aren't. They are your classmates. Even though they might seem 'cool', believe me when I say the coolest people you know are your current group of friends who six years later you will still have lots in common with and will be closer than ever to. These close friends warn you about the group you are trying to fit in with so listen to them and be sure to take on board what they say! They might just end up saving you from regret!

No matter what your parents say they will always love you. Don't shout and scream back at them. Ignore them. Put headphones in when your Mum starts to moan or call you really hurtful names or just go out for walk or go to your room. If she is asking you to do something do it properly, no matter if you have a lunch date to get to, get that done first and then go out. Yes you'll want to leave home and never come back, yes you will wish your parents would leave you alone but just try reasoning with them in order to get something in return. Realize that even though you might not need them as much, now that you are older, they need you as they, themselves, are also getting older and need your help. Appreciate your parents and love them unconditionally no matter how hard it may be sometimes. They only want you to be healthy, safe and happy and when you have to leave them for six months you will look back on everything they have done for you that you now have to face alone!

Don't worry about not having a proper job throughout school,  college and university. You still have your little job at the tutor center working with children of all ages and even though you think  it doesn't count for much this is the job and experience that will get you an incredible job with Thomas Cook working as an Overseas Children's Representative which is pretty amazing and a once in a lifetime opportunity! You will be achieving two of your dreams at once. Travelling abroad and working abroad. That's what you call killing two birds with one stone!

Lastly enjoy life to the fullest! You will be extremely healthy and happy. You will have an amazing group of friends who even though you don't see as much as you would like to anymore are only a phone call away. You will still argue with your family but you will know how much they love you and want the best for you. You will eventually start a beauty blog and a youtube channel that will introduce you to a whole new world and improve your confidence so just take each day as it comes and live your life to the max.

You only have one life and are only young once so just remember that the best moments of your life are still to come. Relax, work hard and have fun with the people in your life who love you and just want the best for you.

Good Luck!
An Almost 23 year old Fleur.

Hey Ladies! I've got posts going up nearly everyday from now until Tuesday when I leave for Turkey so make sure you hit that follow button on twitter and instagram (both xbellefleurx) to be the first to know when I upload a new post! Today I thought that I would do a review of a blush that I bought not too long ago but have already tried and tested and just absolutely love at the moment. Consider this a first impression/mini review. Let's get right into it!

When it comes to the drugstore one of my favorite brands for blushes has got to be Sleek. I just love everything about them. The black packaging is always a winner as it always looks super 'sleek' and the palettes themselves are just the right size for travelling. They all have huge mirrors inside making it perfect to touch up on the go as well as apply other make up items. These blushes also come in a huge variety of colors, are so easy to work with, extremely soft and are all super easy to blend into the cheeks. I bought this little sleek trio last weekend after seeing so many people rave about it and I have to say I am not disappointed.

The Sleek By 3 blushes normally come with three powder blushes. However Sleek recently added two new blushes to the collection for spring and summer. 'Pink Lemonade' and 'Californ.i.a'.  The one I picked up was Pink Lemonade. This blush is very different to the original by 3 blushes and contains only two powder blushes and has introduced to the palettes a cream blush. The two powder blushes come in the shades Pink Mint (Left) and Icing Sugar (Right) and the middle shade is called Macaroon. How adorable are the names?

Pink Mint is a gorgeous baby pink shade and Icing Sugar is more of a peachy pink color, both of which have shimmer particles running through it. Don't worry you don't end up looking like a disco ball. These provide such a nice glow to the cheeks. I love the fact that a little goes a very long way with the blushes and are buildable as well. They are so buttery soft and incredibly pigmented. Blending is super easy as well.

The one shade I was a bit iffy about was the cream blush in the shade Macaroon purely because I had never ever tried a cream blush. This is a gorgeous matte slightly light than barbie pink shade which looks gorgeous on the cheeks. As it's a cream blush it is incredibly easy to apply and blend and I cannot fault the pigmentation. This cream blush could actually also double up as a lipstick. Unfortunately for me it works better on the cheeks than the lips but hey it is a blush after all so at least it does its job!

I recently bought an  individual sleek blush in the shade 'Rose Gold' That was priced at £4.49. This little blush palette was £9.99 and contains three blushes which are all full sized! Need I say more? So much better value for money! If you are interested in Pink Lemonade then do head on over to the Boots website HERE to purchase it. I'd be quick on this one though as I reckon it will be a best seller!

Have you tried any one of the two new sleek blushes yet?

First Impressions/Mini Review | Sleek 'Pink Lemonade' Blush

Hello Everyone! So I have only a week or so left before I head off on my new adventures in Turkey! It is so unbelieveably scary that I have so little time left. I still have so much shopping to do and with barely any money that is a bit hard. I thought that today I would show you the few bits and pieces that I have bought to take with me to Majorca and Turkey when I go. As you will notice I have definitely gone a bit t-shirt crazy! This is my first ever clothing haul so I hope you enjoy!

I spotted this floral peter pan collared top on the New Look website and fell in love with it immediately. If you know me then you know how much I love floral prints. Considering my name is Fleur is that a coincidence? I think not! I am always a bit iffy when it comes to shopping online as I'm the sort of person who needs to try before I buy so I waited until I was in new look and immediately bought it when I saw it. It's so summery and would look amazing with anything from skirts to shorts to trousers. Only thing I dislike is the white collar. It gets dirty so easily especially when it comes to make up application! However I'll definitely be wearing this to death in Turkey.

I then popped into River Island to pick up this t-shirt which happens to be the first ever clothing item in 23 years that I have ordered online. I just love the design and the fact that it will look perfect with absolutely anything in the summer time. It is very loose and baggy and just a really gorgeous summery t-shirt. I got this reduced in the sale for only £10. For River Island that is a bargain to end all bargains!

I spotted this dress in the sale section of River Island and fell in love with it immediately!! They only had one size left and coincidentally it happened to be in my size! Some things are just meant to be! I absolutely love the polka dot design and the collar as well. It's super flattering on the figure. It clinches in under the breast area and then flares out at the bottom. It will look gorgeous either during the day or in the evening. It's definitely a dress that will be perfect for all occasions. I posted a picture on instagram with me trying this on so check it out. (xbellefleurx).

We then went in Monsoon as I really wanted a green top that I saw. Unfortunately it was just too expensive so I didn't buy it. However there had a little sale going on there as well and I spotted these jeans. I absolutely love the pattern them. I decided to try them on and it just fitted perfectly. The material isn't as thick as a lot of other jeans so I reckon they will be perfect to wear on cooler days when I'm away. They were reduced from £45 to only £22.50. Still pricey but for Monsoon I definitely considered it a bargain.

I bought this top at the weekend and it actually makes me kinda sad. This is from Internacionale which if you didn't already know has gone into administration. When I was in my local shopping centre I noticed that they had an 'Everything Must Go' sign in the window so I went in and all they really had left was jumpers, shorts and jeans. As I already have plenty of them I couldn't find anything but then I spotted this t-shirt. I liked that it was grey with a simple floral design on and I got this for only a fiver which I thought was a bargain. Again its nice and baggy and will be perfect for those hot days/nights when I'm in Turkey.

I bought this simple polo t-shirt from Sports Direct as when I go to work in Turkey my uniform actually consists of a polo shirt. I bought this to mainly wear at training and will team this with the black or white shorts that I got which I will talk about next. I really like the color of this top as well as it is one of those colors that really compliments my skin tone. I will definitely wear this once I have finished training too as it is a gorgeous t-shirt that can be teamed with jeans or a skirt and look just as good. I know that I will get plenty of wear out of this. It was only £7.99 reduced from £19.99. Bargain!

Last week I went shopping with my Mum as she is also going away to Mauritius this summer, so she wanted to buy a few summery clothes. We stopped off in Tesco first of all as the one near me has a huge clothing section. I know it's not the place people my age tend to shop at a lot but the clothes are really nice in there! First thing I spotted was this gorgeous faux leather jacket. I have wanted a leather jacket for so long but they are always way to pricey and seem to be cropped which is annoying! Once I spotted this I refused to leave it behind! It's perfect for spring as it won't boil you to death but also won't freeze you to death if it gets a bit colder. I love the pockets at the side and the length of it as well. Definitely my favorite item of clothing at the moment.

I also spotted this aztec print top in Tesco too and immediately bought it as it is perfect for summer and is very loose and floaty. The print is very simple which makes this top a perfect pairing for any other item of clothing. I've worn this a few times already and absolutely love it.

My mum actually picked this out for me to try when we were in Tesco and I think this will be perfect to wear on the plane as it has long sleeves but the material is quite thin so it won't leave me feeling too hot or too cold and I can wear anything with this and over the top and it will look lovely. I love the detailing at the top of the top and the bottom of the top too. Again it's loose and floaty. Definitely a must for me when it comes to t-shirts.

Final item of clothing I bought from Tesco was this very simple blue t-shirt. I love the fact it's detailed at the front but plain at the back. It is a tad bit see through so definitely needs to be worn with a similar color cami underneath it. Once again this item of clothing will go with absolutely everything in your wardrobe and looks absolutely gorgeous with gold jewelry!

I went to Sainsbury's on Friday with my Dad and headed straight for the summer clothing section. I need shorts as part of my uniform for working with the children in Turkey and it has been such a struggle to find the right length and color! I spotted a few pairs of black shorts so I decided to pick up 2. At £6 each it's a definite bargain! I then went to BHS and spotted this white one which seem more appropriate as they are white, baggy but still smart looking. These were slightly more expensive at £14 but as it is for work I forgave that. These can be worn with absolutely anything as well.

Another work item. Our uniform dress code is green tops, shorts and white trainers. However the white trainers to have a full sole and no logo on it. If they have logos it has to be blue. I can't explain how difficult it is to find that type of trainer as all the ones I saw had so much design on them and the sales assistants always gave me funny looks when I explained what I needed. Can't blame them really. My last option was Primark when I went in I knew that they would have the above style so I decided to get four pairs. They were only £3 each which is a bargain. I'm tempted to go back and get a couple more in different colors to wear on my days off as they are so comfy. I also bought a pair of flip flops in case I decide to take a stroll along the beach on my days off. I love the summery design of them and they were only £3 from Tesco. Total bargain!

Last couple of things I bought were these gorgeous necklaces. I spotted the daisy one in Accessorize and thought it was absolutely beautiful! It will look absolutely gorgeous with anything. I also got the copper colored simple necklace purely for everyday wear as it's simple and will once again go with everything.

So that all the clothes, shoes and accessories I have bought thus far. I still have to purchase a few more things before I go especially dresses and skirts and underwear. I just want to start packing everything now and get it over and done with! Six days to go!

What fashion items have you purchased recently? If you have done a similar post or video to this then link it below! I'd love to have a read!

Heya everyone! Hope you are all having a lovely relaxing weekend. I've so far spent my day at church this morning, I then bought a couple of magazines and a dairy milk chocolate bar and I've decided I will spend today finishing watching Gossip Girl and blogging! It's just the perfect way to end the weekend I think.

Today I thought I would tell you about one of my absolute favorite products, Urban Decay's Naked 3 Palette. These were released just before Christmas and were so popular that it was literally sold out everywhere! I just wasn't able to get my hands on it at all. I decided to wait until I had a bit more money and then bought it at the end of February and it is literally the best purchase I have ever made, make up wise.  I haven't tried the first two palettes and to be honest I don't think I want too as they don't really contain the colors I would really wear. This palette however is perfect for me as I would wear literally every single shade. Keep reading to find out why I love this product.

The first thing I absolutely love about the palette is the packaging. I love the fact that the exterior is a slightly coppery rose gold color as I think it really adds an element of class to the product. The gold lettering on the packaging is also very classy and makes the product look slightly more expensive than it actually is.  Inside the palette there are 12 gorgeous eyeshadows varying from a range of finishes that include mattes, pearls and metallics and a range of pinky brown shades which when mixed together are perfect for everyday and evening looks. The shadows are all buttery soft, highly pigmented, easy to work with and super bendable. I know not many people will use it but the palette also contains a double sided dual fiber shadow and blending brush.

Strange is the first color in the palette and is described by Urban Decay as 'Pale Neutral Pink Matte Satin'. Take special note of the 'pale pink' part as it is so pale it almost looks white at first glance. However it does have pink undertones to it.  This is the only color that I never really use as I find it is way to light for my skin tone. However it will definitely make for a perfect inner corner and brow bone highlight.

Dust is described as a 'Pale Metallic Pink Shimmer with Indirescent Micro-Glitter'. I love the color of this eyeshadow however I find it is best to dampen the brush in order to use this because it definitely lives up to it's name and is a definitely dusty making it super difficult to work with. I find that a little definitely goes a long way when applying this as there does tend  be quite a lot of fall out, mainly due to the high amounts of glitter within the palette. However if you get the application process just right the color will look absolutely beautiful on the lids. It definitely needs a primer to stay in place. This is definitely the worst shadow in the palette.

Burnout is described as a 'Light Pinky-Peach Satin' color. This shadow has a gorgeous pearl finish to it. The picture above doesn't do it justice but it is incredibly pigmented and super easy to work with. It looks gorgeous on its own as an everyday simple eyeshadow. It's not powdery at all and will suit absolutely every skin tone. I reckon this is a great eyeshadow for those of you with blue/green/hazel eyes as it will make them stand out a lot more.

Limit is described as a 'light dusty rose matte'. This is a matte color and is just so incredibly buttery soft. Probably the softest shadow within this palette. The pigmentation is incredible and it is super easy to work with. I use this shadow mainly in my crease as I think it works better there. Definitely one of my favorite shades.

Buzz is described as 'Metallic Rose Shimmer with Silver Micro-Glitter. I absolutely love this shadow. I think it contains just the right amount of shimmer but I would definitely consider this more of a night time shade. I wouldn't wear it during the day. However again it is easy to work with the pigmentation is amazing. I haven't yet got much use out of this shade but when I've worn it the application is smooth and it's easy to work with. Again this can be worn on it's own.

Trick is described as a 'Light Metallic Pinky-Copper Shimmer with Toner Micro Sparkle'. This is one of my favorite shades. Again I think this is a perfect night out shade but I have worn this through the day and I just absolutely love it. It's so easy to work with, looks gorgeous on it's on, great color payoff and super soft.

Nooner is described simply as a 'Medium Pinky Brown Matte'. This is a gorgeous everyday shade that looks gorgeous all over the lid or in the crease. Again it is easy to work with, the lasting power is exceptionally good with this shadow I find and is a perfect color to just sweep over the lids as you will be good to go. Definitely the easiest eye shadow in the palette to wear that will suit everyone and look good no matter how you wear it.

Liar is described as a 'Medium Metallic Mauve Shimmer'. Another one of my favorite shades within this palette. I love the hint of shimmer running through it and the fact it is the most golden pinky shade out of all the browns in the palette. Definitely a color that will look good throughout the day or in the evening.

Factory is described as a 'Pinky Brown Satin'. If I'm totally honest I really don't see anything pinky about it. I would say its a pure brown shade which gives a beautiful frost like finish on the lids. I have only worn this twice so far but I love it and definitely need to get more use out of it.

Mugshot is described as a 'Metallic Taupe Shimmer with slight pink shift' Again this has a gorgeous frost like finish to it. The color payoff of this shadow is amazing however it is definitely not my favorite color of the bunch for me. I have tried to warm to it but I'm just not keen. It's super blendable though and so easy to work with.

Darkside is described as a 'Deep Mauve Taupe Satin'. This is a very dark purply brown shade that will be absolutely perfect for those of you who like a smokey eye. Again I haven't really gotten a use out of this color yet, I think I've only worn it once but it is extremely beautiful and long lasting.

Blackheart is the final color in the palette and is described as a 'Smokey Black Matte with Rosy Red Micro Glitter'. This color is so incredibly beautiful. It's so much better than your standard black eyeshadow. I just love the red shimmer running through it. A perfect color for those of you who love smokey eyes. It's not a deep deep black which I really like because I find black black eyeshadows look horrible with my skin tone, but this suits it a lot better especially due to the red micro glitter.

This palette also comes with four versions of their famous primer potion which I absolutely love as normally free samples that comes with products only suit a certain skin type. The four primers include the original primer to keep your shadows in place, eden which is primer to prevent shadow meltdown, sin which prevents creasing and fading of the shadows and anti aging which is pretty self explanatory.

Overall I absolutely love everything about this palette. The packaging is just beautiful and sturdy, the shadows are all beautifully pigmented and easy to work with bar Dust and this is a palette that  will suit practically every single skin tone, especially those of you with olive/warmer skin tones. The primers are there for you to try before you purchase the real thing so you can see which one works best for you! Amazing! I couldn't recommend this palette more. This palette is priced at £37/$54 which is definitely pricey but definitely worth it! Click HERE to head on over to the Debenhams website now to purchase it. You won't regret it!

Hiya Everyone! I can't believe yet another week is over! I hope you all have some very exciting plans for the weekend. This is my second last weekend before I head off to Turkey meaning I only have one full week left with my family and friends before I head off on my new adventures! How scary!

As we all know spring is finally here and it's not that long until Summer meaning only one thing. Out goes the woolly cardigans and hates and in comes the brightly colored tops, skirts, dresses and play-suits. Since I only have a week left I am currently doing some online shopping and these are the items that have currently made their way onto my list and what I think would be absolutely perfect for Summer! One of my favorite things about Spring/Summer clothing is how colorful everything seems to be. I'm normally a dark color type of girl but this year I'm going to step out of my comfort zone with some of these bright little numbers. So without further rambling here are my current must-haves for Spring/Summer. Forgive the amount of times I say Spring/Summer in this post.

1. Mint Crochet Waist Lace Skater Dress - Right now I have a bit of an obsession with mint and when I spotted this dress on the New Look website I instantly fell in love. The design is just so incredibly beautiful and because it's a bright color it will reflect the heat instead of absorbing it. It's just a perfect little number that can be worn throughout the day or in the evening. I just absolutely love it.

2. Grey 'Fleur' Floral T-Shirt - Do I really need to explain why I love this t-shirt? The UK is one place I can never seem to find ANYTHING with my name on. It is quite frustrating. However when I spotted this on the New Look website I just knew I had to have it. T-shirts are a wardrobe staple as they just go with absolutely anything so I'll definitely be purchasing this asap.

3. Light Blue Structured Tote Bag - I've always been a person to use either brown or black bags. Mainly because they go with absolutely everything. However I really do want to step out of that and carry around something a bit more colorful and this bag is just that. It's gorgeous and it's a decent size to fit all your everyday essentials. I hope to be whisking this away to Turkey with me.

4. Doll and Frog Floral Play-suit - I have never ever worn a play-suit. I don't know why I just never seem to be able to find the confidence for it. However I placed an order for this the other day and just cannot wait to wear it. I just absolutely love the design on it and even though the color is very un-spring and un-summer like I think it's one of those pieces that can be worn at any time of the year. It would look great in Winter over the top of leggings I reckon. Definitely something I'll be getting a lot of wear out of.

5. Pink Frill Trim Dove Print PJ's - I think this PJ set is absolutely adorable. I love the design on it and I think it will be perfect for sleeping in on those hot summer nights.

6. Light Pink 5 3D Flower Necklace - Not an item of clothing I know but I just think this is such a pretty necklace that will look great with absolutely everything. It will be the perfect everyday accessory for the Spring and Summer months.

7. Lime Green Mini Sports Watch - When I go to Turkey one of the things I'm going to need is a watch. There will be no mobile phones allowed and as this watch is pretty cheap on the New Look website I'll definitely be purchasing this as it's bright and cheerful and a perfect color for summer! It'll also make me on time for once too! Bonus!

8. Blue Floral Print Contrast Collar Top - Florals and collars. Need I say more? It's just the perfect combination for Spring/Summer. I think this top will look amazing paired with a skirt or a pair of shorts. Downside to this top is that its from River Island meaning that it is slightly pricey. But I still think it's absolutely beautiful.

9. Pink Chiffon Sleeveless Floral Print T-Shirt - I am so incredibly self-conscious of my arms so when something says sleeveless I instantly step away from it, however I've decided to become more confident, or at least try anyway and purchase this t-shirt. I think it is so pretty. Buttoned up shirts are definitely some of my favorite items of clothing. Again this is a very light color and will be so cool to wear in the Spring/Summer months.

10. Kelly Brook Navy and White Polka Dot Frill Swimsuit - Probably my favorite item listed in this post. It is so incredibly beautiful and I love the fact it has a little frill at the bottom of the swimsuit. It's so incredibly figure flattering and will look good on absolutely everyone. I don't know how much swimming time I'll get in Turkey but either way I'll definitely be packing this in my suitcase!

So those are my fashion picks for the Spring and Summer months. Some incredibly beautiful items here. Definitely check out New Look, River Island and Dorothy Perkins as they have some gorgeous pieces in at the moment.

Do you have any Spring/Summer wardrobe must-haves?

Hey everyone!! I cannot believe it is April already. Only 13 days left until I head off to Majorca for 10 days training for my new job as a Kids Rep. How scary? This time last year I was panicking over what to do for my dissertation. I cannot believe how far this last year has gone. It's really frightening! But anyway, today I thought I would do something different on  my blog and sticking to the current theme of favorites let you all know what I have been loving non-beauty wise. This will include food, TV shows and music so expect quite a lengthy post! Better get to it!

One of my favorite things to do is sit down with a really good book and a mug of hot chocolate before bed. Nothing pleases me more. About a year ago I came across Lindsay Kelk. The first book I ever read by her was 'The Single Girl's To Do List' and I absolutely loved it. It was super funny and just a really heart warming book! Girls, if you think you need a man in your life, read that book, you really don't. However, I then came across her I Heart Series which is absolutely incredible. It follows the life and love life of a young girl who has moved to New York to change her life. I won't give much away but I read the first book 'I Heart New York' which is the first in the series and I'm now half way through 'I Heart Hollywood' which is even more hilarious. If you'd like to see full reviews do let me know!

Ever since I was around 12-13 I have kept journals. I just love writing down my thoughts and feelings and I just think it is such so therapeutic. I especially love recording my favorite memories, things I've been through and when you read back its a constant reminder of how good my life has gotten since I was younger and how much I've changed as a person. Since I am starting my first proper job this year I decided that I would buy a new one to record the next big steps in my life. I'm excited to look back over this one at the end of the year. I bought this pink floral one from Paperchase for £8. Quite pricey but it's so beautiful.

If you have an phone then you all know how awful the battery life can be. You'll leave the house with 100% then by the time you've gotten to your destination you'll be at 65% or even less than that. I decided to purchase a portable charger earlier this month and it's amazing. However, my Dad then bought me this cute little juice cube and it's been a staple in my hand bag! You basically charge this overnight and then put it in your bag in the morning and then when you phone is about to die you just plug your phone in to charge. It gives my phone at least 3 good chargers per day and I just absolutely love it. I saw Zoella use this in her latest 'What's In My Bag' video and had my eyes on it for ages so I'm glad my Dad took note! It's really amazing.

One of my favorite quotes printed onto a vintage background. When I saw this in Homebase I just had to purchase it. I can be quite a negative person as I have mentioned before and I am trying to improve and just having this placed in my room everyday where I can see it will just give me a lot of positive energy that I can then produce myself! I just absolutely love it.

Easter is just around the corner and even though I am not here for it I decided to purchase an Easter Yankee Candle as I really wanted to purchase some last year but wasn't able to afford it. This year I decided that I would purchase the White Chocolate Bunnies candle as I'm a huge lover of white chocolate. I don't really know how I was expecting this to smell but my gosh it is beautiful! It just smells like normal chocolate treats being baked in your kitchen and is just beautiful. I would highly recommend this candle this Easter.

Staying on the topic of all things Easter, how cute is this candle holder? When I was checking out for the candle this came up as little extras to add to your basket and since this was only around £5 I decided to go for it. It's made out of glass so you do need to be careful with where you put it in case it drops and breaks but it just fits my tea light candles in perfectly.

If you follow me on instagram or twitter then you will know I tend to get a bit snap happy at times. If you know me in real life then you know on nights out or day trips I always need to take a few snaps. When I saw this box in Homebase I thought it would be the perfect place to print out my favorite photos and put them into this box. It is actually meant to be a sewing box but because of the quote I thought it would suit memories more, hence why I decided to use this to store photos. What do you think?

I hang this above my bed and again this is just one of those quotes that is so true and just makes me realize if I want to be happy I need to stop being scared of following my dreams of what I want to do with my life and what I want to become. This year I followed my dreams of working overseas. Instead of being bought down by the negativity of my parents and other people telling me to not do it I decided to go for it. Yes it's scary, yes it's nerve-wracking but it will also be the most exciting part of my life so far. I can't wait to go! 13 days! Ahh! If you've experienced working abroad then please let me know how you've found it. I'd love to hear from you.

OTHER RANDOM FAVORITES

FOOD

Easter means mini eggs. They are literally the most amazing things I have ever tried and are only available around this time of the year which I personally find ridiculous but at the same time I guess you enjoy it more, if that makes any sense. But anyway, I've eaten so many bags this month and then in Tesco I spotted these and my god they are the nicest things ever. They are basically chocolate covered cakes with a mini eggs placed on top and filled with some sort of butter frosting. Sadly I've begun a no sugar diet this month so will not have any more of these but if you haven't tried them. Get to your local supermarket and by them! You won't look back.

TV SHOW

Up until a week ago I had never watched Gossip Girl. Ever. I kept hearing so much about it, like how Blair's fashion sense is amazing and other things about the show. I knew Blake Lively (Serena) from The Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants and Ed Westwick (Chuck) from Chalet Girl but I'd never really seen the show, so I decided one bored evening of deciding what to watch on Netflix I would give it a shot. This was a week ago and I am now on Season 4 episode 8. Safe to say I got hooked. It's amazing. I have a bit of a crush on Chace Crawford now and I wish I had the bodies of Serena and Blair as well as the fashion sense of Blair. But anyway, I love this show and it just makes me want to go to New York even more now! Yes I know it's not real but ya know.

MUSIC
I came across Lea Michele a couple of years ago when I found her through Glee and then Spring Awakening. I think she is beautiful and her voice is just incredible. She is seriously talented. Earlier this month she released her first ever album and I absolutely love it. It has some such beautiful songs on it, one of my favorites being 'On My Way' it is just so upbeat and catchy and one of those songs that you can just sing at the top of your lungs at. I just love it and can't wait to see what Lea does next.

When this song first came out I used to be obsessed with it. This obsession then died down but then I heard it being played on the first season of Gossip Girl and it just rekindled my love for it. I'm one of those people who will play a song on repeat until I get sick of it and right now this is one of those songs that is on repeat. I think the lyrics are beautiful.

So that's all the random things that I am currently loving. I've really enjoyed writing this post. I don't feel like you, as the people who read my blog actually know more about me so if you'd like to find out more please feel free to let me know what you'd like to see on my blog. My Current Non Beauty Favorites
