Hi Everyone! Hope you have all had an amazing week. I for one certainly am glad that it is Saturday. This week I've been training for a new role within the job I already do at British Airways and I am happy to report that I passed the training so I am super pleased. I start next week and I'm so excited. As much as I love customer service it'll be nice to do a little behind the scenes work too. With all the stress and weather change though I unfortunately accumulated a cold as well which isn't good so I'm treating today like a Sunday whereby I've not got out of my PJs, I've got a mug of lemsip beside me and Heart FM is on in the background. Pure heaven. Today I thought I'd tell you about the new collection from the Body Shop which is their Vanilla Pumpkin range. I spotted the Body Shop tweet about this on I think Tuesday night and I ordered it straight away. It arrived the very next day and I couldn't resist photographing it for my blog.

The Vanilla Pumpkin range is amazing. All their products smell the exact same some a little bit stronger than the others for example the mist and the shower gel but I love them all the same anyway. The products all contain and I quote from the body shop 'quintessential pumpkin fragrance, vanilla from Madagascar, and hints of tonka bean, hazelnut and maple syrup'. There are currently only 4 amazing products in the range so keep reading to find out my thoughts on each product.

The 'Vanilla Pumpkin' Shower Gel

When it comes to shower gels I always love going for something with a sweeter scent which this product definitely has. I know some people don't like sweeter scents because they tend to be very overpowering or a bit sickly but I think this product is just right and isn't too over the top. Even though it is your standard every day shower gel my favorite thing about this product is that it's very creamy. Having only used it a couple of times since I got it I love the way it lathers up on the skin and just leaves the skin super soft. As someone who has mega dry skin it is very important to find products that improve my skin's hydration and get rid of all the dry patches and I find this shower gel definitely does the trick. The scent definitely lingers on the skin for a good few hours after you've had the shower which is amazing.

The 'Vanilla Pumpkin' Body Shimmer Mist

Shimmer mists are something I've never really used before but something I slowly want to start using more and this product is just absolutely gorgeous. Not only does it smell absolutely incredible but it also gives your skin that little bit of extra glow which is something that I absolutely love. Who doesn't love gorgeous glowy skin all year round after all whilst smelling amazing at the same time?! Definitely something I'd recommend especially if you want to keep your summer glow going for a little bit longer too.

The 'Vanilla Pumpkin' Body Butter

The body shop has always been my go to place when it comes to their body butters and other skin care items. I just think they are absolutely incredible when it comes to catering for those like me, who have dry skin. The body butters are always so incredibly hydrating and this one is definitely no different. Now that the summer is over these body butters are starting to make an appearance again. They are thicker and take longer to sink into the skin which is why I don't use them in the summer but I don't think this is a fault. This is something I definitely use a lot in the evenings after my baths and showers. My skin is always left feeling super smooth and soft and the scent always lingers which is a plus in my books. I will be using this one in particular over the next couple of months as I think it's the perfect scent for this time of the year.

The 'Vanilla Pumpkin' Hand Cream

I have dry hands at all times of the year however they definitely need a bit more TLC in the autumn and winter months due to the colder weather having a little bit more of a negative effect on them. Like with all the hand-creams I've used from the body shop this one works absolutely wonders on my hands. It's just incredibly moisturizing and the moisture lasts for a good proportion of the day. It also sinks into the skin super quickly too which I think is amazing.

Overall, I think this entire range is absolutely incredible and definitely one of my favorite ever scents that The Body Shop has brought out. The quality of the products are just absolutely incredible and if you just want good skincare that is cruelty free then this is a brand I'd definitely recommend. If you are interested in these products then you can buy them all for a cost of £37 with free delivery or you can head on over HERE to purchase the products individually as well as checking out more of the amazing products within The Body Shop's Range. I hope you have enjoyed this post. Have you tried this collection yet? What are your favorite scents from the body shop?

Hey Guys! So a bit of a personal post today. I thought that I would talk about confidence. If you know me well or you follow me on social media or you've even read this blog for the past few years then I am sure you will know I suffer from extreme low confidence especially confidence. I remember the first date I ever went on when I was around 15 years old. We went to Nandos in the town close by to where I live and I remember not feeling comfortable enough to eat around him. Now I can eat in front of anyone but my body confidence is still at an all time low to the point where when I walk past someone I can't help but feel like I am being judged. I know that's an awful way to think of feel but it's how I am and it's something I'm working very hard to change. Instead of making you all sit there and feel sorry for me I thought that today I would tell you of all the ways I do feel confident and little things that help boost my confidence a lot. I hope you enjoy this post.

Beautiful Underwear - Recently I've been buying lots of new underwear sets and I've thoroughly been enjoying wearing them. They are such beautiful, delicate pieces that just make me feel a. confident and b. sexy and as a woman there's no better feeling than those two combined. I have no shame in admitting that. At the end of the day they are under my normal clothes, they make me feel beautiful and confident and it's something that only I know about and I love that.

Smiling - I once read that smiling releases endorphins which in return helps to reduce stress levels. There's nothing I love more than smiling and feeling happy and confident whilst I do it. Recently I've been using an amazing teeth whitening tooth paste from the brand Arm and Hammer called 'Advance White Extreme'. This toothpaste is designed to make your teeth up to three shades whiter and even though I haven't tested the '3 shades' theory it has definitely made my teeth look a lot whiter and nothing makes me feel more confident than knowing I have bright white teeth. Also just an FYI this post isn't sponsored, I just bloomin love that toothpaste!

Freshly washed and blow-dried hair - My hair is probably my most favorite part of myself. It's something I always get compliments about due to it's length and it's something that I'm proud of as I have always kept it in really good condition. I just love the feeling of it when it's washed and dried and I love how healthy looking it is. It always makes me feel confident as the first thing anyone always notices about me is the length of my hair so the condition I keep it in is definitely something I take a lot of pride in.

Healthy Eating - Even though I do still have my naughty days here and there I've become a little bit obsessed with healthy eating nowadays. I make sure that I have enough fruit and vegetables in my diet as well as drinking plenty of water. I still eat all the things I love just in moderation as that is the key to a healthy diet. I think as important as it is to look healthy on the outside in terms of good skin, hair, nails, it's also important to feel healthy on the inside and this is something that is definitely making me feel a lot confident, which brings me on to the next point.

Exercising - Not going to lie here until a few months ago I rarely exercised. I mean I don't drive so I tend to walk everywhere anyway but in terms of making time for exercising and going to the gym I just didn't do it. I found it more of a chore rather than something to make time for and that is something I have definitely changed recently. I used to feel so shy walking into the gym as I just felt like everyone was watching me which isn't true at all. They are all there focusing on themselves so I've been to quite a few gym sessions recently and I've thoroughly enjoyed it and always felt super confident walking out of the gym. I'm also thinking of taking up ice skating too as this is something I've always wanted to do and it's amazing exercise so stay tuned for more of that.

Good Skin Days - I've always been the kind of girl that's more into skincare than make up. I've never really been big on make up at all. Recently I've been wearing very minimal to no make up at all unless I am at work and I've felt super okay with that. I'm not going to blow my own trumpet here but I've always had fairly good skin and it's one thing I have always felt super confident about. My attitude to my skin is this is what I was born with. Why not learn to appreciate it and show it off instead of spending hours covering it up.

Wearing Perfume - Perfume has always played a big part in my confidence. It's something I don't really spent time obsessing over when it comes to price. Smelling nice is a big part of looking and feeling good and knowing that I'm wearing something that makes me feel incredibly womanly, beautiful and sensual is something I absolutely love. This is often something I shy away from but I am slowly learning to embrace it and it's definitely making me a lot more confident in my own skin.

So there we have it, just a few things that are making me feel confident at the moment. I really hope you enjoyed this post. Feeling confident is something that I am learning to do for myself. I think it's so important to feel confident within yourself and who you are as a person. If you feel confident on the inside it is definitely something that will start to show on the outside and this is something I hope comes across when it comes to me soon. What makes you feel confident? How do you work your confidence?

A Few Things That Make Me Feel Confident

Hey Everyone! Happy Friday! It's almost the weekend. Yay! I hope you're had a lovely week. I am currently working but I'm on a shorter shift today. It's only 5 hours which isn't bad. The perks of overtime at my job means I can pick and choose how many hours I do and today I chose 5. I am off tomorrow thankfully so it's nice to finish early today and just come home to relax before knowing that I am back in a silly o clock on Sunday morning. Anyway, I'm rambling a bit too much so let's get back into the point of this post. Today I thought I would talk to you about my favorite things to watch on netflix. Netflix has pretty much become a part of my daily routine. I'm quite lucky in the sense that with my job I can just go to work and leave it all there. I don't really have to worry about doing anything when I come home so the time is pretty much free to spend doing any other important things or just chilling out and doing what I want. Perks of airport life. I watch a wide range of different things on Netflix some new, some old, so before I ramble on too much here is what I have been loving and watching non-stop recently.

TV SHOWS
With TV shows I am definitely the slowest person at getting things watched which you will see from my my selection here. However I am a very open minded person as you can see from the range of shows I have been watching recently.

Suits
Suits is something I only started watching in the last couple of months and I really can't explain what took me so long to watch it. I absolutely love it. When I was younger I really wanted to be my lawyer and follow in my cousin's footsteps and watching suits just makes me regret not doing that. It's one of the shows that you'll put on to see what it's like an end up becoming hooked. That's definitely what happened with me. Only problem is you'd want Harvey Spector as your boss, Mike Ross' intelligence, Rachel's wardrobe/hair and Donna's sass. Oh and nothing will make you want to be a lawyer more. Trust me.

Gilmore Girls
I couldn't write this post without including my favorite show of all time. The Gilmore Girls is a show I have loved for years now. At least 10 or 11. Yes it is that old. Last season aired in 2007. Not going to lie I was very disappointed by revival but the original show was incredible. It's about a mother and daughter and how they go about their daily lives. Not going to lie this show is definitely where I picked up my sarcastic habits. Oops. It's such a feel good, easy show to watch and one that I'd highly recommend watching.

Gossip Girl
I was probably the last person on this planet to watch Gossip Girl but I absolutely love it. New York was always a place I wanted to go and this show definitely fuels my obsession even more. I managed to visit a few locations when I was in New York back in May and it's definitely a place I'm going to go back to later on this year or beginning of next year so I can explore it a bit more. It's definitely a show I'd recommend for those of you who love a bit of drama. This show has it all and I've still not finished watching the series yet. Thanks to spoilers I already know what happens at the end but I'm excited to get to that part.

Line Of Duty
Someone at work recommended this show to me and I absolutely loved it. I wanted to get away from the usual rom-com series that I always watch and get into something a bit different. I wasn't expecting to like it but I absolutely love it and I'm pretty sure I watched the first 3 seasons in like a month. I've always been interested in the police force and different areas that the deal with so as gruesome as some of the storylines are it still fascinates me and it is definitely something I'd highly recommend if you're on the look out for something new.

Riverdale
So this is a show that I've noticed has been very hit and miss with some people and I've seen a few tweets recently from people asking whether or not they should watch it and my answer is a definite YES! I personally love it. One thing I've learned from Netflix is don't go by what other people say, always give something a go because you might end up loving it. Riverdale is definitely a show I'd recommend. This show is about a group of kids who try to work out the death of someone else's brother. It has all the usual romance, overbearing parents and relationship drama that you can think of. Think PLL with Gossip Girl. If you love both those shows then I reckon this will be right up your street. There's only one season at the moment with the new season scheduled to start in I believe October? Or November? I'm not sure but either way definitely get this watched before the new season starts. You don't want spoilers now!

MOVIES
When it comes to films I'm more of a classic rom-com kinda girl. However recently I've noticed a lot of my old favorite films have reappeared on netflix and I've been watching them recently instead of watching the new films that are out.

Never Been Kissed
I absolutely adore this film and it definitely goes down as being one of my all time favorite films EVER. It's based on a girl who has like the title suggests has never been kissed, she's a journalist and is given the opportunity to go back to high school as an undercover journalist. I'm pretty useless at describing things but it stars Drew Barrymore who is one of my all time favorite actresses. I'd highly recommend watching this film.

Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging
This was by far one of my favorite ever films when I was a teen and even though I'm now 26 it's definitely one of those films I turn to whenever I'm in need of a good giggle. It's something I've put on to watch over the last couple of weeks as it's just such a feel good film and just reminds me of how I felt when I was that age. We all wanted a Robbie didn't we? Definitely a film I'd recommend watching, especially if you're in a bit of a funk. Oh and fun fact...the actress who plays Jas is now one of the leads in Poldark...and she's bloody incredible!

Kiss and Cry
Kiss and Cry is a film I came across just over a week ago and definitely goes down as one of the most inspirational films I've ever watched. It's based on a true story and focuses on the short life of Carley Allison, a figure skater and singer diagnosed with cancer at the age of 17. Now as sad as it sounds this film will make you laugh out loud as well as cry. The actress who plays Carley in the film was actually Carley's best friend in real life which just makes it that much more special. It's definitely put my life into perspective and I'd highly recommend giving it a watch. It'll definitely make you think about how lucky you are. Just be sure to have the tissues handy!

Bride and Prejudice
Another one of my favorite films was recently added to netflix and it's something I had to include as I'm currently watching it as I write this post. Bride and Prejudice is basically the bollywood version of, yep, you guessed it, Pride and Prejudice. As much as I love the Kiera Knightly film I love this version more. It's just such a feel good film that's full of colour, laughter and love. It's based in India and America and if you haven't seen it before I'd highly recommend it. It's all in English so if bollywood films aren't your thing don't worry as you'll feel like you're watching an american film anyway.

27 Dresses
I'm kinda cheating with this one as it isn't actually on Netflix but it popped up in my genius recommendations on my itunes and it was a film I downloaded one afternoon because I was looking for something simple to watch and I absolutely loved this film. It follows the story of a girl and her obsession with weddings and making other people feel special and loved on their special day when she's never really had a wedding of her own. If you couldn't tell already I'm pretty useless at describing films as I don't want to give too much away but 27 Dresses stars Katherine Heigl and James Marsden who are two actors I absolutely adore so I'd definitely recommend checking this film out if you haven't seen it already.

So there we have it, just a few things that I have been loving on Netflix lately. If you haven't seen these films or tv shows before then it's something I'd definitely recommend checking out. If you have be sure to let me know in the comments what you think. Also let me know what you have been watching on Netflix lately. Are there any shows or films you think should be added to their collection? Take care and I'll speak to you in my next post.

10 Things I've Been Loving On Netflix Recently

Hey Everyone! Don't worry, despite the title this isn't about an Oasis song. If you follow me on twitter or instagram most of you would have seen that recently I went on holiday to France. I was there from the 23rd August and headed back home on the 2nd September so I was only there for 9 days. I thought that I would do a blog post all about my adventures there as we saw quite a lot and it was a lovely little town. We did spend the majority of the time exploring the main city centre so I thought why not share some of the photos that took on my adventures. I hope you enjoy this post.

Angers is a town that is located as part of the Loire Valley. It has been nicknamed as the most happiest of towns in the whole of France and walking around it I can see why. I don't think I've seen one unhappy person working around it at all. With a big university in town and 40% of the town's population under the age of 30 it is an extremely student friendly town and one that has a university near by. The town is full of quaint little shops, cafes'  and restaurants and it also has a tram running through the middle of the town which is very regular and takes you other places within the town as well as the university which is only two stops away.  I love how picturesque and pretty the town is. I love the lake and the bridges that go across them as they all have pretty flowers on them and it's just a really nice touch to the town. I also love the old rickety buildings that they have scattered around the town. I'm a big history fan so seeing buildings like this always really interest me.

Now if you have followed me or know me at all then you will know I wasn't actually looking forward to France this year. I don't mean that to sound ungrateful at all. I love France...most of my favorite childhood memories are in France...I just wanted to go somewhere a bit different this year. Anyway, I'm so glad I chose to go as Angers really is one of the prettiest places I have ever been too. My favorite part of Angers was the square. I love squares like this that are full of little swaps and quaint little restaurants, bars and just really sociable places. As it was a student town all the restaurants had really good service and they were all very inexpensive as well. They all did the most delicious cocktails however I opted for mocktails on a lot of the days as they were a lot more refreshing.

The town had more restaurants down some of the little side streets. One of them had the cutest little carousel with a bar outside it which was lovely if you wanted to cool down and sit and have a drink before heading to explore more. My cousin is actually studying in the town for the next year or so and she came to visit us for the first weekend that we were there which was lovely. We got to explore the town more with her and see the university where she'll be staying and it was just lovely to know that she's now a 2 hour flight away instead of the usual 12 hours. It was really nice and I'm excited to go and see her again but this time she'll be my tour guide in Paris.

One of my favorite things about Angers was the little side streets that had extremely quaint little shops and really interesting people. If there's one thing about the french it's that they love to pull you in and have a little chat especially if you are a foreigner which I love. Not only do you get to learn a little bit more about the locals but it also gives the locals a chance to practice their english too which is a bonus for them. As you can see from the collage above Angers had a tram that ran right through the town square and around Angers and I can honestly tell you it was the smoothest thing I have ever been on. Such a massive different to London's extremely bumpy tube journeys every day.

Your eyes do not deceive you, there was indeed a sephora when I was in France. I went in there one and it took everything in me not to purchase anything. Made me realise what strong willpower I have! Angers also had a department store called Galleries La Fayette which is similar to Selfridges! It has so many amazing departments inside. Sadly a lot of the stuff is quite pricey but as a birthday present my Dad bought me a gorgeous coat which I will definitely be featuring in an outfit post in the next month or so, so make sure that you keep your eyes peeled for that.

One of the places we got to explore was the Chateux D'Angers which was a beautiful old historic castle overlooking the river than ran through the middle of Angers. It was a beautiful old castle and very historic. What else would you expect from something that was found back in the 9th Century.

As you can tell from the collage above I couldn't resist taking a few standard blogger shots, especially the one overlooking the river. The other side of the river from where I'm looking is actually the side of the river where we were staying and the view was so beautiful. I will admit that it was absolutely boiling hot whist these photos were taken. I think on this day it was around 32 degrees. Way to hot but the views were absolutely incredible. I also loved how the chateux had designed the gardens too. They all had their own unique style and were all extremely pretty.

Another collage of photos from inside the chateux and out in the gardens. I couldn't resist taking a photo on the bench in front of the pretty flowers. I thought the garden where the umbrellas were were extremely pretty too. We all went there to have a drink and it was just nice to sit there in the shade and relax for a little bit before moving on. After we had visited the chateux we walked down some of the side streets that were nearby and I couldn't resist getting a photo near the red gate. I don't know what it was but it was just super pretty and I just had to get a photo even though it was nothing special...just big and red!

This was probably the hottest day I've ever experienced. It reached up to around 38 degrees which was awful! Thankfully there were a lot of places around the gardens in which we could sit down and have a drink and cool down The gardens were called Terra Botanica and yes that big yellow ball is actually a hot air balloon in which you could go up in. It was like a mini educational theme park which was a lot more fun that it sounds trust me! It has 4D cinemas, boat rides, rollarcoaster type rides etc. It was a very interesting place and definitely one of the best days we had. If you're thinking of visiting France I'd highly recommend visiting this theme park.

More photos from the theme park. As you can tell my brother made himself very comfortable in the heat whilst my Mum made me post in front of her favorite flowers. I also loved taking photos of these gorgeous little water fountains. However can we just talk about how difficult taking photos whilst water is moving in?! This was like my 20th attempt before I gave up as I wasn't going to get anything better than this. I'd highly recommend visiting this park. It's got something there for everyone and you won't be disappointed. It's about 15 minutes on the tram from the town square and you can get a day pass for around 10 Euros which I think is really good as you can explore more of the town as well.

On our final day we went to one of the local gardens which was about a 10 minute walk from where we were staying. It was such a gorgeous quaint little garden but they had done so much with the space that it actually looked bigger than it was. The garden definitely reminded me of central park a little bit with the little lake and the stream and it was gorgeous. It also had statues all around it which was unique and something I'll come onto a little later. When we left the gardens we took a walk back towards a different part of the town and came across an area that had a massive water fountain in which kind of reminded me a bit o Trafalgar square in London. On one side of the fountain it had an absolutely stunning building which according to my Dad was the courthouse in the middle of the town. It was absolutely beautiful. On the other side of the fountain was this beautiful gazebo that definitely gave me gilmore girls vibes even though this one is a lot bigger than the one in the gilmore girls. It was definitely such a pretty part of the town. I only wish that I got more photos of this.

These are the statues and figures that I was talking about above in the park I went to on my last day. It was absolutely stunning. I thought all these statues were very unusual and added something extra to the park. It was a nice little touch and I felt that all the statues each told a story which was nice to see.

On the morning of us leaving we decided to go to the market as my Mum wanted to pick up some vegetables and flower seeds to bring back home with us. The markets in France are always incredible even though it looks pretty small it was just closing by the time we got there so I didn't have a chance to take more photos but I highly recommend whenever you visit France if you ever plan on doing so definitely take a trip down to the local markets as it's something you won't regret.

I couldn't end this post without including a little collage of some of the food that I consumed whilst I was on holiday. From the pasta to the drinks to the amazing salad the food in France is just amazing and is definitely one of the best places in the world for an exquisite cuisine! I'd highly recommend eating as much as possible when you're in France as you won't regret it.

So there we have it, just a little information and a quick post on what I got up to on my holidays. I've tried to keep it as brief as possible as, as you can probably tell, I did take a lot of photos. Angers is definitely one of the kindest, prettiest, most friendliest towns I have ever been to and it's definitely somewhere that I recommend everyone goes should they ever visit France. Have you ever been to France before? Where have you been? What are your favorite things about the country?

Hey Everyone! Happy Tuesday. I hope you are all well and are having a pretty great week. I am spending most of this week working but it's fine. A lot of my shifts this month are quite short which is nice because I start my permanent full time contract next month so it is quite nice this month to have a few short shifts. I have actually just got back from work. I started at 12 and finished at 5 and as I'm writing this it is currently 6:30PM so it's quite nice to get home at a reasonable time, beat all the rush hour traffic and know that I am home at at a decent enough time to have a proper dinner. It also means I have time to blog and I couldn't resist writing this post for you all today.  I wanted to talk to you about reasons that I am excited for the Autumn season that's just around the corner. In case you weren't already aware, Autumn is my favorite season. I absolutely love it. I'm not really a summer girl as I'm someone that doesn't like the heat. I prefer the cooler weather which some people find weird but I just couldn't resist. The photo above was actually taken before I started my shift today. There are a lot of trees outside Heathrow's Terminal 3 and the leaves looked way to pretty and Autumnal to not take a photo which is why I was inspired to write this post so I hope you enjoy it.

Candles: Candles are definitely one of the best things about autumn. Even though I used them all year round they're definitely something I associated more with autumn and winter as I just think they make everything appear so much more warmer and cosier as well. When it comes to autumn scents I literally buy anything that has pumpkin, cinnamon and apple on the packaging. I think these scents are such autumnal scents.

Frosty Mornings: Frosty mornings haven't started to arrive yet which I consider to be a good thing at the moment as I am already struggling to get out of bed due to the change of temperature but when I am up they are something I actually enjoy, especially on my days off. I find there's nothing better than waking up, putting your dressing gown on, walking downstairs to the kitchen, making a warm drink and looking out of the window to see a thin layer of ice whilst you drink it. It's just something I love. There are a lot of robins where I live and I love seeing them hopping about on the white frost early in the mornings.

Trees and Leaves Changing Colors: I love the trees changing color. Seeing them go from green to a beautiful burgundy red or fiery orange color is something I just find so beautiful and special. One of the things I want to do this year is go to some Japanese maple gardens just so that I can see these trees.

X Factor Returning: I know, I know, X Factor has definitely run it's course but there's still something so excited about it coming back. It's definitely something me and a lot of other people use as the countdown to Christmas and come on the bad auditions are always a little bit funny. It's the show we all love to hate.

Hot Drinks: I'm not really a hot drink kind of person, I much prefer colder drinks. I know that makes me sound slightly weird but when I have to drink a hot drink I absolutely love it. The different flavored hot chocolates that appear in the shops are always something I have to try and there's just something so lovely about having a long day of shopping on a cold day and stopping by in Costa or Starbucks to grab some of their autumn/winter drinks whether that it is a pumpkin spice latte or just a hot chocolate.

Baths & Pamper Evenings: I never have baths....hold your disgust! I simply mean I'm more of a shower person. I just think they are quick and easier and you waste less time. I only really have baths in Autumn/Winter as I think they are so much more relaxing and warm you up and I just prefer my pamper evenings in the Autumn/Winter with a bath included. This is normally the time of year where Lush get their best selection of bath products too so it's just the perfect time of year I think to pamper yourself.

Fires: Whether this is lighting a fire in your living room or just going camping around a bonfire with your friends and family there really is nothing more relaxing and cosy! Especially if you have a good book at hand and a mug of your favorite hot drink! Yes please!

Autumn/Winter Clothing: This is going to sound really silly so please forgive me but one of the main things I hate about summer is the clothing. I'm extremely self conscious and body conscious so the fact the majority of things this year were off the shoulder or shorter and cropped was literally my idea of hell. I don't think I bought one single outfit all summer. Actually that's a lie I bought a dress from Miss Guided but nonetheless I absolutely hate summer clothing.  Some of my favorite outfits include anything with roll-neck jumpers, ankle/knee high boots, scarves and just jumpers in general. I also love the colors. Give me all the burgundy and mustard yellow and I'll be happy.

Chilly Walks Through The Park: I love Autumn purely for all the beautiful colors that appear on the trees so walking through a part where you can just kick through the leaves (I told you...big kid right here) just excites me so much. Whether it's by yourself or with your family and friends it's just the perfect way to wind down in the afternoons I reckon.

Winter Wonderland: I know I'm kinda cheating here considering this is meant to be an Autumn post but I couldn't not throw in Winter Wonderland. One of London's biggest events from Late November to the beginning of January. It's basically a huge Christmas Market complete with a mini theme park and a huge ice skating rink...erm yes please?! What a perfect way to have a day out with a boyfriend/girlfriend/best friends. I know I'll be heading here more than once this year.

So there we have it, just a few reasons as to why I absolutely love the Autumn season. I just love everything about the season and I'm so excited to see what happens as it's one of the most magical seasons in my opinion. If you're a fan of Autumn, make sure to let me know why in the comments below and if you're not be sure to still let me know why as I'd be very interested to know why. I hope you enjoyed this post and I'll speak to you again soon.

10 Reasons As To Why Autumn Is My Favorite Season

Hey Everyone! Hope you are all well and are having a lovely week. I've been back at work for the first time in two weeks for the past two days and it's definitely being a bit odd being back but I am enjoying being back in that airport environment even if it does make me a little jealous seeing everyone going away. Today I thought I would do a bit of a motivational blog post. Lately I have seen a lot of tweets and posts from other bloggers stating why they think they are a bad blogger and for some reason they feel the need to apologize for it and that really does frustrate me. I mean, yeah I am pretty guilty for doing that myself but now I'm wondering why. We are all amazing bloggers and there are times when we just lose inspiration or motivation and there's nothing wrong with taken a pause to rethink things and look for inspiration during this time. I thought that today I'd do a post reminding all of you however big or small you are what an amazing blogger you are. I hope you enjoy this post.

1. You have a hobby which is something quite a lot of people don't have as we come from a generation that tends to be too busy doing other things to take something new up and stick to it so give yourself a pat on the back! Many people out there are still stuck trying to look for that one thing that makes them happy. One thing that they can do on a regular basis and something that makes them extremely happy. You already have that with your and forgive me for the cringiness, little piece of the internet. Whether or not you have a full/part time job, go to school, college or even university instead of going home and taking a nap you get working on your blog or instagram and I think that's amazing personally. All of us blog with any spare time we have and that time is precious that could be spent doing other things like socializing with family or friends. Dedicating your own time to blogging is pretty incredible and shows commitment which is definitely something that can help you in the future!

2. You are an incredibly supportive person and don't just focus or worry about your own blog. You worry about other blogs too. You give other girls and guys helpful tips through your posts or tweets. You help them out and encourage them, you follow them and share their posts if it is something you like. You are incredibly supportive and that definitely makes you a fantastic blogger and shows how caring, supportive and encouraging you are too which are all fantastic traits to have. The blogging community would not be as friendly or amazing without you so well done!

3. Your blog is your own creation. It is your writing, your photos, your ideas, your opinions. Everything on that blog screams you. Nothing is fake or unrealistic. All these things can help inspire and encourage other people and that's a pretty powerful and amazing thing to do. We live in a generation where everything tends to be spoon fed to us through the world wide web. If we want to find something we tend to google it and it pops up on screen in a number of seconds. However instead of relying on other people's opinions we throw our own two cents in and share what we think with others. Your opinion matters to probably hundreds of people without you knowing and that's absolutely fantastic.

4. Whether you think it or not there are people out there who read your blog and support you. Whether you have 10 followers, 100 followers or even 1000 followers, you've gained a small following of people who want to come and read your blog and are interested in whatever you have to say. That's pretty incredible. Some people work so hard for months to get noticed by even one person so no matter how small your milestone you should be incredibly proud of yourself. Don't worry about not being that pretty, fashionable blogger with 100,000 followers. Be proud of what you've accomplished so far. Every step no matter how small counts and is something to be congratulated so here's me saying congratulations to you.

5. Finally and something I think people who read blogs but don't have a blog need to realise that is is incredibly hard work and at times can be super stressful. Especially  if you are relatively new and even if you have been blogging for a few years now. It's not easy but you have  bitten the bullet and gotten through all the stress. It's not an easy task coming into a community that is becoming increasingly more prominent and joining in especially with the amount of pressure there is nowadays but you are getting through it and loving it and that's something you should be so incredibly proud of so keep on going. You've got this! Never give up on something you enjoy as you'll only regret it and be wondering what if further on down the line.

I enjoyed writing this post and I hope you enjoyed reading this. If you're currently a blogger or you're reading this and are thinking of starting a blog, honestly it's something I would highly recommend. It's one of the best things I ever did. I've met so many amazing people through it and I just find it so worthwhile and very rewarding as well. If you're a blogger who has perhaps stopped blogging or taken a bit of a hiatus like I did for a couple of months I hope this blog has given you the motivation you need to start it back up again. You've got this! Take care and I'll speak to you in my next post.

Hey Everyone! Hope you are all well. Today is my first day back at work for over 2 weeks. I have had a bit of a break because I have been working so much and I also needed a bit of a break to focus on my mental health as well as just try and find inspiration and motivation in different places. I went to France for nine days which was lovely (post will be up next week) and I came back on the Saturday just gone and since coming back I have felt a little better and have managed to get a lot more motivation. I then came up with this blog post idea of how I can be happier and healthier for the duration of this year. I made this a private note in my journal but I thought why not share it with you on my blog as well as perhaps it's something a lot of you may need to read just now as well. I hope you enjoy this post.

  • Do More Exercise
This is one I definitely plan on working on a lot over the next few months. Not only to become fitter and become more confident within my body but it's also something I feel like I need to do for my mental health. Heading to the gym and exercising more is definitely something that I am going to do a lot more of in order to become less tired and groggy. I do exercise but definitely not as much as I should and I think making it a part of my daily routine is something that will help me become more energetic, healthier, fitter and more comfortable within myself.

  • Drink More Water
Drinking water is something I have always stuggled with. I've always been the person that has turned to less healthy options like juice and fizzy drinks and even though I still have the occasional Sprite here or there I have started to drink a lot more water. One thing that inspired me was coming across THIS blog post from the lovely Zoella. In the post she speak about adding fruit to your water to make it taste a little bit nicer and she includes around 4/5 different options for your water which I think is amazing. On days when the weather is slightly warmer those options are perfect. I've also recently bought a water bottle from Wilkinson. It's pink, it's cute and it's just a simple bottle that I can just take out and about with me filling it up at different places throughout the day. It is something I've started to do a lot at work and it really does work.

  • Improve Your Diet
I don't have a bad diet and I never really have done. I've always had good healthy meals however like with the Sprite I do tend to binge eat or eat at the wrong times or simple have just a bit too much. At the end of the day I do love food and that's something I'm not going to be afraid of admitting...at the end of the day it does keep us alive. I'm just going to opt for the more healthy options and have everything in moderation and just have a more clean, healthy and balanced diet. I'm also going to try and make more meals from scratch so I control all the refined sugars and fats that go into my meals. I'm excited to experiment with food.

  • Get More Sleep
This is something I've always struggled with. I have insomnia and getting to sleep at a reasonable time is something that has never happened for me. No ideal when you work shift work often doing 9 days in without a break. It can get pretty exhausting. Even though it's going to be very challenging I am going to try and get myself into a proper routine in order to use up more energy. I think the problem I have is I never really get tired. So I'm aiming to use up enough energy in order to hopefully get more sleep this year.

  • Cut All Toxic People From Your Life
This is something I started to do towards the end of last year but then for some reason stopped. I've always been the girl who has let everyone walk over me and ends up getting treated like absolute rubbish. The last couple of months has seen my mental health gone from bad to worse. I've come to realise that I don't deserve to be treated this way. I, like everyone else in this world, deserves to have people who see the best in me. I need to start surrounding myself with positive people who like to see me happy rather than be surrounded by people who bring me down all the time. Hopefully by the end of 2017 all these people would have disappeared. Who knows? Only time will tell.

  • Be Less Critical Of Yourself
I think this is the biggest aim of mine in order to be happier for the remainder of the year. I'm always thinking I'm not good enough. I always think I'm not good at my job, I'm too fat, my blog is not great, nobody likes me etc. I mean I know it sounds pathetic but it's the truth and I wish it's something I could change. It's not going to happen overnight but it is something that I desperately want to change over the next 4 months.

  • Stop Comparing Yourself
This is linked to the above point about being less critical of myself I guess. I mean I follow so many gorgeous inspirational men and women on social media and I can't help but think that I'm going nowhere in life because of it. However I need to remember that people only show their highlights and the best parts of their lives on social media and that we never truly know what's going on behind closed doors. Comparing yourselves to others can be very self destructive and it's important to remember to focus on ourselves and our own happiness.

  • Have Social Media Breaks
I went through the stage a couple of months ago where I never really posted much on social media. I used facebook but that's because I have family in different parts of the world on there but I rarely posted on twitter and instagram. I needed a break as it was becoming to negative and I just wasn't enjoying anything about it anymore and that included blogging as well. Obviously it didn't last long but sometimes it's nice to have a bit of a break and not be constantly glued to your phone. Most of my job is spent looking at a computer screen all day so it's nice to sometimes come home and not have to look at anything. I'll definitely be having a lot more of them. Maybe I'll have a week per month of no social media...we'll have to wait and see.

  • Be More Grateful
Recent events have taught me that we need to stop complaining about the things we don't have and start being a lot more grateful for the things we do have. It can be the simplest of things like being able to go home to loved ones at the end of the day, having a roof over your head etc. I find that we spend too much time of our lives wishing for things we'd rather have and not really focusing on the things we do have. With all the tragedy that's happened around the world this year, especially the Grenfell Fire, I just think gratitude is so important. I actually downloaded an app when I was in France called the '5 Day Journal' and it has 3 main sections inside it where you can write three things about what you are grateful for, what you'll do to make that day great and what great things happened that day. I think it's a great little app and something that I have been using everyday since I downloaded it. I'd highly recommend it if you're looking for a bit of positivity in your life. It also has an inspiration quote when you open the app each day which I think is a lovely touch. (By the way this is not sponsored I just really bloody love this app!)

  • Have More 'Me' Time
This is something I think a lot of us forget to do on a daily basis. Something I've decided to do is have a full pamper day at least once a week. I think we all deserve to have a bit of a pamper here and there. We all work hard so why not treat ourselves. It doesn't even have to be a really expensive trip to the spa, it can just be you locking your bedroom/bathroom door getting your favorite products together with a bunch of treats, popping on some good music or your favorite film/tv show and just relaxing. I just think we definitely need to give ourselves a bit more TLC and it's something I'm definitely going to be giving myself more of from this day onwards.

So there we have it, just 10 ways I will be happier and healthier for the remainder of 2017. I desperately need to make certain changes in my life in order to improve my mental health and also my happiness. I'm really glad I wrote this post and decided to share it with all of you on my blog as it may give those of you some inspiration if you want to make some changes to your own health and happiness for the remainder of the year. If you are let me know what you plan on doing in the comments below. Also if you download the app I mentioned or already have it let me know what your opinions are as I'd love to hear them. Have a lovely day everyone and I'll speak to you all in my next post.

Hugs and Kisses

Hey Everyone! Hope you are well. So I am finally back from my holiday in France after a ridiculously long drive from where we were staying to Calais and then from Dover back home to where I live. I think all together it took us around 13 hours to get home. Most of which was spent in the car. It definitely wasn't fun but never mind because I am back home. I've just been spending the majority of today unpacking, eating and drinking as for some reason I am extremely warm and dehydrated. I have also just had my adorable 6 year old twin cousins come round to my house as well which was a lot of fun as they are just so cute and energetic. We bought them a lot of presents back from France so it was fun to see their faces as they opened them as it was quite unusual things that you don't get in the UK. I will be doing a couple of posts on my holiday to France and France in general as it is a place I have been quite a lot so make sure you keep an eye on my blog and other forms of social media to know when they go up. Anyway, I am rambling on way too much so let me get back to the point of this post.

Today I thought that I would speak to you about two of my favorite summer perfumes this year. Perfumes are the one thing I always spend a huge chunk of my money on. I always have one in my bag and take one everywhere with me. I know it's normal to do that but it is something I\have done for ever since I was a little girl. I would always take my Mum's perfumes (oops) and stick them in bag and just use them as and when I needed to. This summer two perfumes I have absolutely been loving have been the Miss Guided 'Babe Power' and the Marc Jacobs 'Daisy Dream Kiss'. Keep reading to find out more below.

Miss Guided's 'Babe Power'

Now I'm not going to lie here, I definitely judged a book by it's cover when I heard Miss Guided were bringing out a perfume. I thought it was going to be rubbish, but the more I heard people talk about it the more intrigued I was. I was shopping in Westfields in Stratford a few months ago and went into Miss Guided as I was birthday outfit shopping with a friend for her birthday. I saw 'Babe Power' on display and went to give it a sniff and I absolutely loved it. It wasn't at all what I expected and I was very impressed.

First thing I absolutely loved was obviously the packaging. I mean...are you even a blogger if you don't buy something just for the fact it's rose gold/copper colored?! I also love the fact that it looks like a can of red bull as well. I've never really seen another perfume with packaging like this so I do think it was rather clever of Miss Guided to do this as it's very intriguing. You just push on the ring at the top to release the product which I love as like I've said already I do think it's very clever.

The next thing that surprised me about the perfume was actually the scent itself. Like I said at the beginning I was judging a book by it's cover so I wasn't really expecting much but I think the scent is amazing. It's very summery and fruity which I love. The top notes of the fragrance consist of grapefruit zest, sour cherry, pink pepper, crisp apple, pineapple and rhubarb. The middle or heart notes contain hints of orange blossom, peony and jasmine, whilst the bottom notes of the scent consist of vanilla, candy floss, sensual musk and amber crystals.

I just love how sweet smelling it is. Normally perfumes that contain this many sweet notes tend to be a little overpowering but I don't feel that way about this scent at all. I think even those of you who don't like sweet scents would like this as it's also very floral. I think this is the perfect every day scent and it's definitely a perfume that smells like it should be more expensive than it actually is.

Marc Jacobs' 'Daisy Dream Kiss'

I absolutely adore Marc Jacobs perfumes. I have tried three of the perfumes in the 'Daisy Dream' series and have absolutely loved all of them so I was very excited when I saw they were releasing a new limited edition scent called 'Daisy Dream Kiss' and it definitely hasn't disappointed. Daisy Dream kiss has been developed by the perfumer Amandine Marie.

The first thing I absolutely love about this perfume is the packaging. I know it's no different from the other scents in the 'Daisy Dream' series but I just love the hot pink shade of it. It's just a perfect shade for the summer months and definitely a bottle that will stick out and look amazing just sat on your dressing table.

The actual scent of the perfume is also just amazing. It's described as having a bit of a floral fruity musky scent which I love. I'm not a huge fan of stand alone floral scents and I love the fact that this has got the fruity element combined into this fragrance as personally that's what I prefer in perfumes. It contains notes top notes of blackcurrent, pineapple and grapefuit. The middle notes consist of white freesia, jasmine and rhubarb and the fragrance closes on ceder, musk, and ambrox.

Overall I absolutely adore this fragrance as it's not sickly sweet and is a perfume that is perfect of all ages and is also one that you can wear for all occasions. If you haven't tried any of the scents from Marc Jacobs 'Daisy Dream' range I'd highly recommend making this your first purchase especially as it is limited edition. It has been my absolutely go to scent for the warmer summer days when I want to make a little bit more of an effort.

So there we have it. Just two of my absolutely favorite scents of summer 2017. I know we are now coming towards the end of the Summer season now but perfumes are something that can definitely be worn all year round and I'd highly recommend getting your hands on these fragrances if you are currently on the hunt for a new scent. If you would like the 'Babe Power' from MissGuided then this is retailed at £28 HERE. If you would like to try the 'Daisy Dream Kiss' then this is retailed at Debenhams from £55 HERE. Let me know in the comments what your favorite summer 2017 perfumes were and if you've tried the perfumes mentioned in this post be sure to let me know your thoughts. I'll speak to you all in my next post.

The Two Best Scents Of Summer 2017 ft Marc Jacobs & MissGuided

Hey Everyone! I hope you are all well. Today I thought I would talk to you about a brand new series I'm going to be bringing to 'FleurDanielle'. This will be the 'Six Favorites' series. Yes I know it's not the brilliant of names and probably not the exciting of series but I want to start bring newer and fresher and more interesting content to my blog. Whether that's talking about people I'm loving within the world of cyber space, music I'm loving, restaurants I've been to, tv shows I've watched I will just be talking to you all about things I've been loving and it will be a different category each and every month. Today I thought it would be appropriate to start off with talking to you about six beautiful bloggers that I am currently loving. I hope you enjoy this post.

Hello Miss Jordan
Jordan is someone I've followed on social media for a very long time however only started to properly read her blog in the last couple of months and my god I absolutely love her. Not only is she absolutely gorgeous and reminds me of a porcelin doll, but she has an absolutely incredible writing style. Every time I read her blog I instantly feel so relaxed and she just has a way of making you feel like you're right there with her and I absolutely love that. She also happens to be one of the lovelies girls ever so if you're looking for a new blog to follow I'd definitely recommend Jordan's.

Emtalks

Em is a blogger I've followed since I started blogging myself and there are no words to describe how much I adore her and her blog. She is absolutely gorgeous and has a figure to die for. Her blog is so incredibly diverse. There really is something on there for everyone from finding out what new beauty products are out there to looking for a new place to travel to, to even just finding out about Em herself or finding a new fitness routine! She is also one of the loveliest, kindest, most supportive, down to earth, genuine bloggers out there and I highly recommend following her. She's a blogger that inspires me every single day.

Charlotte Jonsie
Like with Jordan, Charlotte is another blogger who I have followed on social media for a while now. I stumbled across her blog purely because she posted an incredible positive speech on instastories and I messaged her straight away because it was something I really needed to hear/see at the time. I've been following her blog ever since and I just love how happy and bubbly she is. Her blog is amazing and is full of color and quirky posts and I just love that about her blog. Her fashion sense is also amazing.

Copper Garden
Jess is a blogger I've followed since for around 2 maybe 3 years now. I absolutely adore her and her blog. I think she's such a sweet lovely girl. She is so incredibly talented and since she's left university her content has just got better and better. I've loved following her adventures around South Africa and different parts of the world as she travels with her boyfriend. I think this is so interesting and as I am a travel enthusiast as well her blog and instagram are just ideal for me. I have messaged her a couple of times on instagram asking about her adventures and she's always been so lovely. I highly recommend following her.

The Elle Next Door
Elle is a blogger I've once again always followed but this year have constantly watched her blog/youtube and instagram. Her blog is just amazing and I absolutely love reading it. I find that when you read her posts it's just like talking to a friend. She's so cool and quirky and her photos are always amazing too and make you feel like you are really there with her. She's so gorgeous, has the most amazing pair of legs I have ever seen..like seriously leg goals right there, and her photos are always so vibrant and full of color too. If you don't follow Elle you're seriously missing out.

Dizzy Brunette
Corrie is a blogger that I have followed since I first started blogging over 4 years ago and I've seen her blog go from strength to strength and I love the confidence that she has gained too. Her content is always incredible ranging from beauty reviews to nostalgic 'what we did in the 90s' posts which are personal favorites of mine. She has such a funny witty writing style and I know that even if I'm in the worst mood reading Corrie's blog will always put me in a good mood as she's got one of the best humors in the blogging community.

So there's the first 'Six Favorites' post wrapped up. I thoroughly enjoyed writing this post and I hope you enjoyed reading this post.
