Hey everyone! I can't believe that it's the first of December tomorrow! It will finally be acceptable to put up Christmas decorations, listen to Christmas music, watch Christmas films and just finally get into the Christmas spirit! I saw a quote the other day and it said something like this 'Think of 2014 as a book, December is the final chapter of that book, make it the best and most exciting chapter yet'. Definitely something to think of as we head into December. But enough inspiration. Let's get into this month's favorites. As you can tell I have a lot of beauty favorites this month. Over the course of the summer I didn't really wear much make up so when I returned I rediscovered some old favorites.

As you will know if you've read my blog I have been exposed to very harsh sunlight this summer due to the requirements of my job. Because of this my skin hasn't been as good as it used to be. However this mask has definitely helped that. My skin looks more radiant, clearer, more hydrated and also combats all the blemishes that I have on my face as well. I have done a more indepth review HERE, if you are interested in this mask.

When Zoe announced that she was releasing her own range of products I couldn't have been more excited and jumped at the chance to get her products. One of my favorites in the range is this gorgeous fragrance. It smells very fresh and elegant and is perfect for everyday wear. This has definitely been one of my most used scents this month and I absolutely love it.

Neutrogena have been a brand I have loved for a good number of years. I think their products are absolutely amazing and all of these products combined really do wonders for my skin. The daily scrub just removes all the dead skin off my face, the facial wash just cleanses my face and leaves it feeling super refreshed and the moisturizer really does hydrate my skin and leaves it feeling baby soft. If you haven't tried this brand yet I'd highly recommend it.

This brush is definitely one of my all time favorite brushes to use. I don't really tend to contour my face purely because I find I don't need to so I mainly use this brush to blend in concealer underneath my eyes as I find the brush fits perfectly in that area and it blends the concealer perfectly. I also sometimes use this for applying blusher to my cheeks as well.

I have jumped on the bandwagon extremely late when it comes to Tanya Burr's lip glosses. Last week I was browsing superdrug and caught sight of them so I decided to purchase two. Champagne Toast and Smile, Dream, Sparkle. My favorite is definitely Champagne Toast. I absolutely love the colour, I love how sparkly it is and it compliments my skin tone perfectly. It's also extremely glossy but non-sticky which is perfect for those windy days! I don't need to worry about my hair sticking to my lips! I will be doing a review of both the lip glosses soon so make sure you keep an eye out for it.

This month I have been trying to grow my nails. I have an awful habit of biting them and it's absolutely disgusting and I get super embarrassed when other people notice. I love wearing nail polish so I decided to grow them out. My favorite color this month has been Lime Basil which unfortunately has now been discontinued which I just found out whilst looking for a link for you all. It's a gorgeous green leaf like color and it smells absolutely amazing when dry! It has a lime scent but it also contains a hint of spice too which I absolutely love.

Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
This is definitely, in my opinion anyway, the best drugstore powder there is. The minute I came across this and started to use it there was just no going back. It is absolutely incredible. It just gives such a flawless look to my skin, doesn't come across as cakey and is just an absolutely amazing product. Recently I've been only wearing powder as I'm completely gone off foundation I do not know why and it has pretty fab coverage for a powder too. I wear the shade 005 which is Silky Beige. For only £3.99 I can't complain at all.

The Body Shop's Glazed Apple Lipbalm & Body Butter
This is definitely my favorite scent by far at the moment. Not that I can smell it that well anymore as I am suffering from a super bad cold at the moment but it really is incredible. It's definitely one of the best scents the body shop has come out with recently. I only really like the Mango scent in the body shop so I'll definitely be stocking up on Glazed Apple products. The lipbalm is incredibly moisturising and even has a slight flavor to it and the body butter smells incredible and does it's job by keeping your skin soft and smooth. The scent lingers on the skin for a long time as well which is definitely bonus!

Another holy grail product for me, I've lost count of the amount of favorites posts I've featured this one but I hadn't used it for a long time as I was using a different concealer however I spotted this in Superdrug earlier this month and decided that I just had to purchase it again. It's just an incredible concealer. It hides all my spots perfectly and really conceals my dark circles under my eyes which is brilliant as I'm hardly getting any sleep at the moment. I did a review of this concealer a while ago now on my blog but you can check it out HERE to learn more.

This is one of my all time favorite lipsticks. It's such a beautiful color and really compliments my skin tone. I love how moisturizing it is and also how soft and buttery it is as well The color is really pigmented and is long lasting as well. It's definitely one of my favorite colors to wear this time of year however it's a color that can definitely be worn all year round.

I'm not a massive eye cream user as I just never seem to find one that works perfectly for me until I came across this one through Love Me Beauty. This eye cream is incredible. It basically reduces any puffiness under my eyes and really brightens the under eye area especially if you have dark circles like me. Definitely the best eye cream I've come across to date.

Avon's Moroccan Argan Oil
I consider this oil more of a serum than an actual oil due to the texture of it but that aside it's absolutely amazing. I love using this on my hair, especially if I have just washed it. It just leaves my hair feeling so much more stronger, healthier and shinier as well.  As it's from Avon is is pretty cheap as well so if you are on a budget but can't afford the more expensive ones then this is definitely something that will be right up your street, no matter what your hair type is.

Hey everyone! So as you can see I have a non beauty monthly favorites post for you this month! I love writing non beauty favorites as it gives a little insight to the person behind the blog. As you can see there are a lot of things I have been loving this month so I won't ramble on too much!

First up is jewelry and I have been loving these two pieces from the brand LVNDR and EmTalks. I love how dainty and delicate the pieces are and I have literally been wearing these non -stop since I got them. Perfect everyday jewelry as they go with absolutely everything and add a little touch of elegance to your look as well. All the pieces from this brand are extremely affordable so if you'd like to treat yourself or loved ones this Christmas head on over HERE now.

I've also been loving Zoella's entire beauty range this month too. All her products are fantastically made, smell absolutely incredible and are perfect for a pamper evening as they are very relaxing. This candle is definitely something I have been loving this month. I think it smells incredible, The scent is very fresh and relaxing and the candle itself looks amazing lit up on my dressing table when I am doing my make up.

When it gets to this time of year my hands need extra special attention. They get so horrible and dry so I'm always on the look out for good hand products to prevent this. Two of my favorites this month have been the Body Shop's Glazed Apple hand cream which smells absolutely incredible and leaves my hands feeling incredibly moisturized and smelling fabulous too! I have already reviewed the glazed apple hand cream from the body shop as well as the rest of the Glazed Apple range HERE. Definitely my favorite scent at the moment from The Body Shop! I also love this Hand Wash which I found in TKMaxx for only £5.00. Again it's apple scented (I'm obsessed at the moment) and leaves my hands feeling soft and clean once I've used it. It definitely has a christmas scent to it which I absolutely love.

This month I have been reading quite a few books. I have absolutely loved 'You're The One That I Want' by Giovanna Fletcher. It's such a romantic, feel good novel. I read it in one day which is highly unusual for me. I do read quite quickly but never books in a day. I was just on edge and wanted to find out what would happen next! Basically is a love story with unrequited love being the main theme however it's got two sides to the story and by that I mean two people are giving their own version of events. It's pretty amazing! The Fault In Our Stars is another one of my favorite books. It is just absolutely incredible and heartbreaking. If you haven't read it yet what have you been doing with your life? Get it read! Make sure to have chocolate and tissues for afterwards though! 'Instant Happy' is basically a motivational book. It has so many quotes and inspiration things inside it which has helped me so much. If I've had a bad day this month I've read this a couple of times and it just really helps calm me down. Perfect pick up! I have a blog post coming up on inspiration soon so make sure to stay tuned for that.

Music has definitely been one of my favorite things this month. I have absolutely loved Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran. Taylor Swift has been one of my favorite singers since I heard Love Story back in 2009. I just absolutely love her. She comes up with the most relatable songs ever and 1989 is definitely in my opinion her second best album after fearless. It is literally packed full of hits. My favourite song on the album is definitely 'Blank Space'. Ed Sheeran is another one of my favorite singers and as much as I loved his first album I prefer this one. A lot of his songs on here I can relate too. My favorite song is definitely 'Thinking Out Loud', however I absolutely love the song he did for 'The Fault In Our Stars' called 'All Of Our Stars'. Both of these songs are so incredibly beautiful. Definitely check out both these albums if you haven't already. I have also been loving Olly Murs', One Direction's and Nina Nesbitt's albums too. Definitely check them out if you haven't already.

Gilmore Girls has been my absolute favorite show for years! It follows the lives of a single mother Lorelei and her daughter Rory through absolutely everything whether its relationships, parental issues, school and work issues etc all of which have good and bad moments. It is just absolutely amazing and super funny too. If you haven't watched this yet I'd highly recommend it. I find this box set in HMV for £49.99 which for seven seasons I think is an absolute bargain. Definitely one to add to your Christmas lists. I'm going to be finishing off Season 3 once I've finished writing this post!

My movie favorites for November have been Mockingjay Part 1 and The Fault In Our Stars. I am a huge hunger games fan after having read all the books and seeing the first two films. I had extremely high expectations for the first few films and I definitely haven't been disappointed. Jennifer Lawrence is just incredibly in the film and she even sings in this one and has a pretty fab voice! Definitely worth a watch. Be prepared to be like 'What on earth?' a few times though! The Fault In Our Stars film is just as incredible as the book. The actors are amazing and they make the story truly believable. I'm not going to give the story away as it's one you all have to see if you haven't already. Truly heartbreaking.

One thing I have wanted for ages is a memory box. I used to have a little tiny memory jar where I would write down things and put them in there to look back on at the end of the year but I decided that I would buy a proper personalized box to put in everything that has meant a lot to me over the course of my life and it has definitely served it's purpose. I have so many precious memories in here now and I look forward in the future where I can open it up and just smile at everything that I did that made me happy. If you haven't got one of these I would highly recommend it!

So there we have it, my non beauty monthly favorites! I love these types of posts so much as I think they are a lot more interesting to read than beauty favorites some times! You get to discover a lot of new music, films, books and anything else as well. They are just brilliant!

What are your non-beauty favorites this month? If you have a post or even a video then be sure to leave a link in the comments below.

Hey Guys! Hope you are all well! I can't believe that it is less than a month now till Christmas and I still haven't started my Christmas shopping. I have a lot of people to buy for this year so I really do need to start as soon as possible. I am planning on going to Winter Wonderland in London this Saturday so hopefully I will be able to do some Christmas shopping there. I absolutely love that place. Anyway, let me get back into the point of this post before I go off on a tangent.

I recently came across a gorgeous brand called Chelsea Boutique through the lovely Fiona who is the owner of the brand. Fiona also happens to be a model and as modeled for around 10 years. She is also the blond model in the photos on their website. Chelsea Boutique are a store in London's very own Chelsea that sells designer inspired fashion items for high street prices. Obviously their clothes are changed quite a bit in order for them to be able to reduce the prices down but they are still extremely similar when you look at them. They have described their store as being 'sexy and sassy yet elegant and sophisticated'. I took the time a couple of days ago to browse their website and I was extremely impressed. I absolutely love the different dresses that they have and the coats that they are selling at the moment are extremely beautiful, reasonably priced and would be absolutely perfect for winter.

As I have said above the pieces that they have are designer inspired so I will include a few examples below so you have a general idea of what I mean:

The above coat has been inspired by Valentino and I think it is so incredibly beautiful. I love the khaki, black and orange colours as think the colours are perfect for everyday way. I also this coat will go with absolutely everything in anybody's wardrobe. As you can tell from the pictures above the coat has been slightly altered. The material doesn't look as thick and I actually prefer the way Chelsea Boutique has altered it as the material looks slightly more classy and elegant.

This is probably one of the most gorgeous pieces of clothing I have ever seen in my life. As you can see the dress has been inspired by Louis Vuitton and I just love Chelsea Boutique's interpretation. The dress looks a lot more elegant and I absolutely love the gold sparkle on it. I definitely think that this is a dress that would be absolutely perfect for the Christmas season for wearing at any Christmas parties that you have planned.

Probably another one of my favourites is this gorgeous military inspired dress by McQueen. I just think it looks so beautiful and sophisticated. I absolutely love the differences in the dress in the photos above. As you can see on  the photo of the dress being worn by the absolutely beautiful Kate Middleton the dress has buttons and pockets at the centre of the skirt. However on the model the pockets and the gold design are at the sides which I think looks a lot more appropriate and pretty. I really can't imagine the above or any of these designs ever going out of fashion to be honest as I think they are all timeless and classic pieces that can be worn over and over again.

I'll give a little bit more information about the brand just so that you know more before you head off and have a look at their website. Chelsea Boutique is mainly an online store as they only have one store which is based in the heart of London. If any of you would like to go and view their clothes or find out a bit more about them then you will be able to contact the brand and arrange to view in person any of the pieces that they have to offer as it is mainly a showroom. Customers are able to go and view what they would like to buy as well as view samples as well. If you would like to arrange anything like fashion consultations or fashion advice or anything like that then you will be able to do so via skype which I really do think is quite a nifty little way of doing things. I've never really heard of a brand to anything like this before and I absolutely love it.

So there's a little introduction to Chelsea Boutique. If you would like to check out their website then you can do so buy heading over HERE. I have already got a little wishlist compiled of things that I will purchase once pay day comes around including THIS absolutely gorgeous black coat which I think would be amazing for winter. Yes it is £140 which is quite pricey but I think every wardrobe deserves a few pricey yet extremely elegant pieces once in a while, don't you?

Have you already browsed the Chelsea Boutique website?

Have you already browsed the Chelsea Boutique website?

Hey guys! I have a review for you all today. You know that problem I kept asking all your guys for in relation to lighting? I came up with a simple solution. Get up before 10AM when there is the best lighting! Simple! I still need to do a bit of editing but my photos look so much better! Thank you for those of you who commenting with tips and messaged me on twitter to let me know. I really appreciate it.

As you all know I have been struggling quite a little bit with my skin lately due to all the sun that it has acquired over the past few months. It's become really dry, patchy and just really horrible and I really want to do something about it. I have bought numerous skin care products that I'm hoping will take care of it. So far everything I've tried seems to be doing an amazing job and my skin is already looking a lot healthier. One of the things I bought was this cheap mask from Superdrug. Now I'm going to be honest and say that I really did not expect this to do much at all but I have been very pleasantly surprised.

The one thing I love about this mask is that it is super easy to apply. A lot of masks that I have used I find are quite runny and I end up getting more up my sleeve than I do on my face however this is quite thick and therefore applies very similar to a moisturiser as it is a very smooth consistency. I love the scent of this moisturiser as well. Quite floral - almost a Lavender smell which makes this product perfect for using at night as it is quite relaxing and can help me drift off.

Once I have applied the product I leave it on my face for around 10-15 minutes. The first couple of minutes though I am in agony a little bit because my face stings like mad. It doesn't last long but I reckon this is due to harsher chemicals that are in the mask. It's not really a bad stinging sensation just one that tells me that the mask is definitely getting work. I wouldn't really recommend it for those of you who have sensitive skin as I do think it will cause quite a bit of discomfort. Even though it states on the packaging to wash off with running water I do find this extremely different as it does harden and is not as easy to wash off this way. I tend to run a cloth under water and remove it that way as it's easier and quicker and doesn't leave my bathroom flooded either!

Overall as much as I do not like the stinging sensation on my skin at the beginning it is worth it because this mask really does work absolute wonders on my face. It leaves it feeling super soft, my skin just looks so much more radiant and clearer and all the blemishes that I had in the past have reduced considerably. I absolutely love this mask and I would highly recommend it if you can't afford high end skin care as this really does everything you could possibly want a mask to do. Even though on the packaging it says that it is for normal to oily skin it would suit all skin types. If you are interested in this mask then click on the link HERE or head into your local Superdrug store where you will be able to purchase it for £2.59 which is amazing!

Hey everyone! So today I am back with another post. I thought that I would do another room tour as there have been some new additions to my room lately and I am finally 100% happy with it. I was going to decorate it up for Christmas and then do this post then but in my house we don't start decorating the house till at least 2-3 weeks before Christmas. I can hear you all now and trust me the anticipation is killing me. I just want it to look all festive like. But anyway! Let me start this post before I ramble on.

So as you can see from the photos above my room is quite big. A few years ago my parents decided to get the loft converted into a bedroom which initially was supposed to be theirs but then they decided to let me have it which I was extremely grateful with. As you can see my furniture around my bed is built in, which in a way is quite annoying because there are times when I would like to revamp it a little bit but then I think...hmm no...I actually love it how it is. Everything is super easy to find, there is plenty of storage space and it just means that everything is always kept nice and tidy. I keep the cupboards on the left of the photo filled with clothes, the mini cupboards above my bed have got cushions and bed linen and stuff in and then there's more clothes on the right with the rest of the cupboards containing all my books. Yes I absolutely love to read. My bed is a king size and it is the most comfiest bed ever! I absolutely love it.

On to the other side of my room now and as you can see there is 2 doors. The door furthest away is my bedroom door and the door nearest away is my bathroom door. If you would like to see me do a bathroom tour as well then please let me know. Anyway, as you can see the dressing table is also built in and has a number of drawers in which I can place my jewellery and make up in. I still want to buy some plastic inserts so I can properly sort out my make up. Any recommendations leave them below. As you can see above the dressing table is a very creepy photo of me as a baby. I really don't like it there but my Mum absolutely loves it there so there it will stay.

Onto one of the bed side table now and as you can see this is where I keep some of my books and my ipod dock. I also have a Lindsey Kelk book propped up on the side to remind me that this is the next book I'll need to read in her series. I absolutely love her books so I highly recommend that you check her out! On the shelves I have some memories on there as well. The top shelf contains some of my 18th and 21st birthday presents and the second shelf contains  a photo frame with me and my best friend from my 21st and a little 'Love' sign which I think is really cute. I absolutely love this corner of my room.

Another thing I have in this corner are these four books. I won't explain them in full now as I have a seperate blog post on them which should be going up a couple of days after this one but basically what they are here for is to inject a bit of positivity and inspiration into my life. Once again I won't say too much as it'll all be in around 2 blog posts time but I'd highly recommend them!

This corner of my room is where I keep all my magazines, my memory jar, my 21st birthday teddy, another inspiration decor with the word dream on, my block calender and of course my journal. I keep my journal beside my bed every night as it's where I get everything out, all my thoughts and feelings go into this little book which I also tend to carry about everywhere with me. I hate the thought of leaving it at home so I take it out all the time where I know it's safe. I also tend to have a bottle of water here at all times as I always get thirsty especially at night. I am making a concious effort to drink more water as I literally survived on sprite the whole summer. Not good. This cute pink bottle was purchased from Waitrose and is it just me who tends to be more motivated to drink more water when you can put it in something cute like this?

Now getting onto the new additions part of this post. If you read my last room tour post you would have noticed that I never showed you my working space. There was no particular reason for this as I did actually have a desk but it was awful, didn't fit in with my room and was quite frankly a mess. When I got home from Turkey I walked upstairs and saw this gorgeous desk. It is made from solid oak and I absolutely love the fact that the white parts match the rest of the furniture and the brown oak parts match the wooden floor in my room, it is absolutely perfect and I am in love with it.

I am currently sitting on the desk as I type up this blog post. As you can see I didn't waste time setting it up. I have put a lamp on it (soon to be replaced) as this corner tends to be quite dark as this is where the roof slants a little bit, my memory box which I will be doing a blog post on as well soon, a photo from the summer where I went parasailing on top of the memory box, another two journals that are ready for when I have completely filled in the one beside my bed, another block calender which I got from New Look recently for £5.00, my notice board and a mesh desk tidy with all pens and everything tidied away. You can see that I also have the new Taylor Swift album on there as well as I was putting it on my iTunes whilst I was taking photos. Can we just take the time to talk about how amazing this album is? It's definitely my favourite album of hers after 'Fearless' of course.

When it comes to my room there are a lot of inspiration quotes about and the four above are definitely some of my favourites and really inspire me on a daily basis. When you are in a rubbish mood and feel like the whole world is against you and you just don't know what to do, which is how I feel a lot of the time then I find it really comforting to just look at these quotes, breathe in, close my eyes for 10 seconds, breathe out and trust me when I say that it really does help. The last photo with Taylor Swift lyrics in was hand painted by one of my friends in America and I absolutely love it!

So there we have it and updated room tour. I absolutely love this room. There is nothing I would When I add a few festive  touches to my room I will take some photos and post it on this blog for you but this is just what my room looks like normally! I absolutely love reading these types of posts and watching these types of videos so if you have one or the other then please leave a link in the comments section below so that I can check it out!

Will you be adding any festive touches to your rooms this year?

Female Christmas Gift Guide | Beauty Edition

Hey there ladies (and possible gents reading this too). With the Christmas festivities already getting into full swing and the countless tweets and facebook posts I am seeing on a daily basis about starting Christmas shopping I thought I better get cracking on a Christmas gift guide for you all. As you can see this a beauty only edition, so don't worry if you're not interested in getting anything beauty related for anyone as I will be doing a non-beauty one next week so stay tuned. All the gifts above are what I would love to receive and what I will be treating some of the ladies in my life. Hopefully you know a few ladies who would love to receive these gifts. Enjoy!

How gorgeous does this gift set look? I absolutely love the packaging and I love the fact that is named after a famous road in New York, one of my favourite and literally dream cities! This gift set contains a 125ml eau de parfume, 3.7ml mini 5th avenue fragrance, 100ml body lotion and a 100ml hydrating cream cleanser. I think this would be absolutely perfect for an older woman, maybe mothers or aunties. I know I'm definitely purchasing this for an aunt of mine. For only £20 it really is not a bad deal at all.

I've never actually used a Clarin's product before and it's definitely a brand I will definitely be experimenting with in 2015. I spotted this on the Clarin's website and I think this will be a perfect present for someone who perhaps doesn't have a skin care routine. Since being in Turkey I haven't had a proper one at all so this is definitely something I'd like myself. Both the cleanser and toner in this gift set are 100ml and is for normal to dry skin. Priced at only £12.99 it's amazing value for money.

When it comes to beauty products L'Occitane is definitely one of my favourite brands. I have used a number of their products and I just adore them. They always smell absolutely amazing so when I was in Covent Garden last weekend I popped into the L'Occitane store there and sniffed these products and I found this collection to be right up there in terms of the scents! It's smells incredible! This collection contains a number of products. There is a 75ml eau de toilette, 250ml shower gel, 75ml shimmer lotion, 100g bonne mere rose soap and a 30ml hand cream. This gift set is priced at £49.50.

I really stuck this in here for my own gain as I'm sure those of you who read my blog regularly know how much I love the soap and glory sugar crush scent. Every product contained in this box is sugarcrush scented. The box contains a 75ml body wash, a body scrub, body buttercream and handcream all 50ml and a suds boosting body polisher as well. I think this would make a fab gift for a teenager or anybody young who loves soap and glory and lime scents. For £10 you can't go wrong.

This is probably the best gift set I've seen on the Benefit website regarding skincare. I love that everything in this set is enough for a proper skin care routine. Perfect for the lady who needs to perk up her skin or get a stable routine. This set includes a facial wash, facial polish and facial emulsion which contains SPF 15 all of which are 8.9ml. It also contains a 3.0g total moisture face cream  and it's potent eye cream, two extremely popular benefit products. This gift would be absolutely perfect for a benefit fan. It's only limited edition and I do believe that it is selling extremely fast so grab it whilst you can for only £14.50. Bargain.

6. Benefit's Cutie Cravings Gift Set
Another cute benefit gift set that I found was the Cutie Craving's set with some of their most popular products in sample sizes. Perfect if you would like to introduce the wonderful world of benefit to your friends. This gift set has a 7.5ml porefessional, mini they're real mascara, hoola with a brush, ultra plush lip gloss in fauxmance and an eye shadow palette with double ended sponge applicator. At £29.50 it's not Benefit's cheapest gift set but for what you get I do think it's a decent price.

7. Real Techniques Nic's Picks
Real Techniques brushes are absolutely amazing. They are so easy to clean, incredibly soft and are just absolutely amazing at applying make up, no matter what make up you are wearing. This gift set would be perfect for someone looking to try new make up brushes as these are the brushes that Nic has picked herself! The gift set contains a duo fiber powder brush, duo fiber base shadow brush, 3 exclusive lines the check brush, an angled shadow brush and an angled eye liner. For only £20 I think that's a pretty good deal.

8. Jack Wills Ladies Body Mist Trio Collection
When I was at university this was one of the most popular brands that was spoken about. Students absolutely love this brand. Not going to lie I do not actually get the hype but when I spotted these in Boots I had a quick sniff of each of them and they smell absolutely amazing. Perfect for a fragrance lover and Jack Wills lover. The sprays in this set are all 125ml and are named Hope Cove, English Velvet and Jack Wills. This set is only £10 and I think it will make a great stocking filler as well.

9. Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream Eau De Toilette Gift Set
Again this is a gift that I have put in mainly for my own gain purely because Marc Jacobs are one of my favourite brands when it comes to perfumes. I always think their fragrances smell absolutely wonderful and the bottles are always so beautiful. Definitely one for a Marc Jacobs lover like myself. The gift set contains a 50ml eau de toilette, and 75 ml body lotion and shower gel. At £47 it is quite pricey but definitely worth it I reckon.

10. Best Of Both Worlds Origins Gift Set
Origins is definitely one of my favourite beauty brands and one that I would highly recommend to anybody. This amazing gift set has all of my favourite origins products. It contains a 50ml high potency Night A Mins Mineral enriched renewed cream, 30ml ginzing energy boosting moisturiser, 5ml ginzing refreshing eye cream to brighten and depuff, a 50ml drink up intensive overnight mask to wench skin's thirst and a beauty travel case to put it all in! At £40 it is definitely something that is worth investing in if you want good quality skin care as I have nothing bad to say about any of the products! (Unless you don't like oranges, stay far away from the Ginzing Products haha!).

So there we have it. My Christmas beauty picks for 2014. Some of these I'm adding to my own christmas wishlist and others I'll be treating the women in my life too. Female Christmas Gift Guide 2014 | Beauty Edition

Hey everyone! Hope you are all well and are having a good week so far! Today I thought I would review this gorgeous moisturiser that I have spent the last 2 weeks using. When I was in Turkey I didn't have the best skincare routine in the world at all. I never wore much make up because all my make up was too light for me once I was out there for a while. When I finished work I was always too tired for a proper skincare routine. These are all pathetic excuses I know but I did not have a skin care routine and I have ended up coming back home to well, not the worst skin in the world but also not the best. It's dry, I have a lot of brown spots that weren't there before and I just really need to do something about it.

My first course of action was to find a decent moisturiser and I wanted something in the drugstore that was decently priced and then if that didn't work I would go high end. I spotted his particular moisturiser by Neutrogena in Superdrug. I absolutely love this brand. I have always reverted to using the scrub and the facial wash so I already had high hopes for this moisturiser and I wasn't disappointed.

The moisturiser itself is very lightweight and creamy. It's mainly aimed at oily skin but in my opinion will suit all skin types. I use this first thing in the morning and last thing at night and it definitely refreshes my skin. It also doesn't clog it up which is always a bonus. The moisturiser also has three claims. To hydrate, clear and refresh. The hydration properties lie within the oil free formula which provides hydration for around 24 hours and prevents the clogging of the pores. The product also contains Microclear Technology. This helps to reduce and prevent any spots which can help make the skin look clearer. This product also contains a hint of pink grapefruit which can help leave your skin feeling really fresh.

My own personal opinions of this product are as follows. It smells absolutely incredible, which is really uplifting and refreshing. It has a very refreshing grapefruit smell which is 100% not artificial which can often smell a bit horrible. This smells extremely nice however can be a little strong in the evenings and if there is one negative I have to mention here it would be the scent. It definitely won't be to everybody's taste and can be quite overpowering before you go to bed. The moisturiser sinks into the skin practically straight away, perfect for those of you who suffer with oil skin, extremely affordable and extremely hydrating. Like I have said above, I suffer from dry skin and I find that this immediately solves the problem.

Overall I absolutely love this product. It has made me skin look so much clearer and has combated all the dryness on my face perfectly. If you are interested in this product then it is available at Boots and Superdrug for £4.99 which I consider a bargain for how amazing this is. It's definitely up there with my all time favourite moisturiser from Origins. If you are interested in this product then click HERE in order to find out more information or to purchase it.

What are your favourite moisturisers at the moment?

Review | Neutrogena's Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Moisturiser

Hey everyone! Hope you are all well and are having a good week so far! Today I thought I would review this gorgeous moisturiser that I have spent the last 2 weeks using. Hey everyone, hope you are all well! So next Month it will be two years since I started to blog. You're probably sitting there thinking but there are no posts from December 2012 on your blog and that is because I deleted them as they just didn't fit in with my blog. There was a lush haul (I deleted it because of the lighting) and a review of the movie Pitch Perfect which again I deleted because it just wasn't to do with anything I wanted my blog to be about. Quite frankly these posts were embarrassing. When I started this blog I wasn't exactly sure if I wanted this blog to be beauty, fashion or lifestyle. I decided on the latter and decided to make this blog a triple threat and include all three. I have to say it's definitely more beauty than the other two but it's definitely something I will try and work on in 2015.

Since blogging there have been so many things that I have learnt that I thought I would share five of these things with you all today. Maybe you are interested in blogging in the future or you already have a blog and are struggling with a few things. Maybe this post will help you. This by no means means that I am an expert. These are just a few things that I have found have helped me and will hopefully help you. Enjoy!

Social Media & Interaction
I'd thought I would start off with this bit as it contains the most information about what I've learned and a few tips for you as well if you are a new blogger. From the minute I started blogging I already knew that this one was a massive factor in getting people to start reading your blog. I have three absolute favourite platforms that I absolutely love to use. Twitter, Pinterest and Bloglovin'. I have found twitter to be the most beneficial purely because you can find so many other bloggers, come across different types blogs and just generally meet and get to know other bloggers. Depending on your blog type you can also take part in bloggers chats that happen weekly. Before I went away to Turkey I used to take part in the beauty bloggers chat which takes part ever Wednesday and Sunday evening from 8PM to 9PM. This is a fabulous opportunity to talk to other bloggers and exchange blog links. This is done using the hashtag #bbloggers. If you are a fashion blogger or lifestyle blogger the hashtags are #fbloggers and #lbloggers. I've met so many amazing people and come across so many beautiful and inspiring blogs as well. Once you have come across these blogs and followed them if you come across a post you like then one thing I always like to do is post a comment on their blog just so they know they've gained another reader. It's happened to me and it's honestly one of the best feelings knowing that people like to read my blog.

Pinterest is another one of my favorite apps purely because there is so much inspiration on there in terms of blog designs and it's also another way that you can follow bloggers because you can post your blog photos on there so it's easy to know when your favourite blogger has just posted. Now as popular as pinterest is not everyone has it just yet. Thankfully all my favourite bloggers do but if you want to get some inspiration for some posts then pinterest definitely helps me.

Bloglovin' is absolutely amazing for following new blogs as it's super easy. It is also amazing for finding new blogs in different categories. The majority of blogs that I follow are beauty and fashion based but I have decided to leave a more healthy and active lifestyle recently so I absolutely love finding and following healthy food and fitness blogs as well! Bloglovin' also have an app so if you are stuck on a train or bus you can just whip it out and catch up on posts. Amazing site to use!

Organisation
When it comes to blogging this is probably the first thing I learned. Organisation is so incredibly important when it comes to blogging. I used to think it was just a case of getting an idea and typing it up with a few photos. Definitely not the case. You need to come up with the idea, bullet point what you want to talk about, take the photos, edit the photos, go through the bullet points one by one, make sure the points are in order and that it flows, edit the post if need be and then publish the post. I have a special blogging book which I have reviewed HERE if you'd like to take a look at that. A lot of work goes into a post but it's all worth it when you see the finished post.

It's Very Easy To Be Jealous
One thing I have learned about blogging, and it was actually in a topic tonight for the lifestyle bloggers chat is that it is extremely easy to become jealous of other bloggers and compare yourselves to them. I can think of 5 bloggers at the top of my head who yes I am a little envious of due to their good looks and amazing blogs. It's okay to be a little jealous as long as you don't let it overtake you and become nasty about it. Blogging can get competitive at times in terms and we find ourselves thinking in our heads, why does she have more followers than me? What's so special about her? Why does she get free stuff? It took me a long time to forget all this, focus on my own blog and just remember that it's not all about the followers or free stuff. It's very easy to get sidetracked and jealous but it's just as easy to forget all that and blog because you love it, which I will come too again later.

Readers Love A Variation Of Posts
When I started this blog I knew that I wanted it to be mainly beauty based. However I then found out that it is important to add a few different posts in there every once in a while  just to keep my blog fresh. I've added wishlists, lifestyle and fashion posts into my blog as well as a few advice and obviously blog posts about my adventures in Turkey as well. I just think that it is important for me not to seem like a make up or skin care reviewing robot. People like to know the girl (or boy) behind the blog so I definitely think including some lifestyle is 100% important. I haven't yet done any personal posts on this blog as I am scared of what people think but I do have a few typed up and saved in my drafts to make sure to stay tuned for them as they feature a range of extremely popular topics.

Bloggers Block - It's Okay To Take A Break
This is something that I learned at the beginning when I first started this blog. It got to the point where every idea I had for blog posts just go typed up and saved and posted almost immediately that when it came to the next month I had absolutely no idea what to post about and I absolutely hated it. I love blogging but I didn't really want to blog for the sake of it, I wanted my passion to come across in my writing so I used to take a break but I used to feel extremely guilty. It took me a long time to realise that taking a break is okay as blogging is a hobby. It's not my job and it's not something I have to do. During the summer I was away for six months. During that time I probably blogged around 4 or 5 times and as much as I missed it I have come back with so much more inspiration and I am enjoying it so much more. So if you ever feel like you need to blog every single day but have nothing to blog about do not worry. Go out, get some fresh air, take a few days break and I can guarantee that you will find some inspiration from somewhere. That's what I've learned anyway.

Blog For The Enjoyment Not The Pressure Or Freebies
Lastly but not lease one of the most important things that I have learned since starting this blog is that it is important to blog because you enjoy it and not because you feel you need too. Once you are a few months in and are starting to get readers it is easy to feel like you have to blog especially if they start leaving you comments telling you to blog about something. You can often end up feeling bad for not doing it or end up feeling like you have to do it there and then. These are the things that can make you stop enjoying it. It's why I admire the big youtubers like Zoe, Naomi and Louise so much because although they all have youtube channels they still have blogs and yes they might not blog all the time but when they do you can see through their writing that it is because they wanted to and because they do still enjoy it.

It is also extremely important to not blog for the free stuff. Yes it may get annoying when you see a blogger write about something they got given for free but one of the main things to remember is because they got that for free because they work hard and because companies can see their passion and enjoyment through their writing. If you just blog for the free stuff then I'm afraid you are blogging for the wrong reason and that can come across quite easily so just make sure that you enjoy what you do, blog because you love it and eventually other people will see the same thing too.

So there we have it. What I've learned since I've started to blog and some advice that I hope will help those of you who are thinking about starting up a blog in the near future. I'll add a little disclaimer here by saying just because I did this post it definitely does not mean I am an expert. I still have so much to learn in terms of photography and writing styles, however if you would like me to do a second post with more things that I've learned then please let me know. If you have any questions then please feel free to tweet me at @xbellefleurx. I'm constantly on there so you can be sure of getting a response haha!

Hugs and Kisses
Christmas is one of my favourite times of the year. I absolutely love everything about it. The music, the clothes, the festivities themselves, all the decorations, watching everyone's face lift up and become extremely happy and most importantly the scents. I just love all the brands bringing out Christmas candles and adding some Christmas scents to their products so when I saw that one of my all time favourite stores for body products, The Body Shop, had added three new Christmas scents I jumped at the chance to go down and have a sneak peak.

The Body Shop's three Christmas scenes are Frosted Cranberry which is a classic favourite already, Vanilla Brulee and Glazed Apple. On first sniff my favourite was definitely the Glazed Apple range so because of this I decided to purchase a few products from the collection and I must say I am not disappointed. I have used all the products already and they are absolutely amazing, Keep reading for a mini review on each product.

The first couple of things that I bought in the range was the body butter and the body polish. Both of these smell absolutely incredible. The body butter is as usual absolutely incredible. It is incredibly moisturising, sinks into the skin practically straight away so there is none of that waiting around before you put your clothes on and the gorgeous scent lingers on your skin for ages which I absolutely love.

The body polish is basically like a scrub and basically exfoliates the skin and leaves it feeling incredibly soft and smooth. I noticed such a difference to my skin after using this as it buffs away all your dead skin cells and just leaves the layer of skin feeling incredibly soft and smooth. The scent is also incredible. The body butter and the body polish comes together in a gift set for only £16 which I find a complete bargain as if you were to buy the two separately you would pay £23! Total Bargain!

The Glazed Apple Shower Gel is absolutely amazing. As with all the products in this range is smells absolutely incredible. It really does cleanse your skin, leaves it feeling soft and again the apple scent just lingers on the skin. It lathers up extremely well and the gel itself is soap free so you get a soap free cleanse. This shower gel is only £4.00 from the body shop which for how good it is really is cheap.

The Glazed Apple Shimmer lotion is also amazing however not one that I would use if I was just staying in for the night. I would definitely use this before I was to go out purely because of the fact it contains a hint of sparkle once applied to the skin. Like with the body butter, as well as leaving skin soft and smooth it also sinks into the skin straight away meaning there's no waiting about. This product also contains one of my favourite ingredients which is Shea Butter which really adds a bit of added protection to the skin. This product is £8.00.

Not that I even needed another one but I thought I would add another lip butter to my collection. I already own loads from the body shop but as I absolutely love the scent from this I thought I'd purchase it. Like with all the lip butters from the body shop they are incredibly moisturising. Winter is my lips idea of hell as they get so chapped and horrible but this definitely helps them out. It has a very slight flavour of apple as well. Always a bonus to get a flavoured lip balm. It leaves my lips protected for a good portion of the day. This lip butter is £4.00.

When it comes to the winter months it is very important for me to have a good hand cream. My hands get extremely dry during the winter months and I always struggle to find a decent hand cream, however this Glazed Apple one works absolute wonders. This hand cream is incredibly moisturising and the moisture lasts for a good portion of the day and it sinks into the skin incredibly quickly. This is the cheapest product of the range at only £3.50. Once again a bargain.

Additional Information
The Body Shop have a new campaign this year which is called 'The Gift Sends A Child To A Class'. They have teamed up with a charity called War Child which basically helps children in countries that are affected by war but wish to get an education get their wish. I think this is amazing and by buying the body butter and polish gift set I have helped this to happen. No matter how big or small the gift set is that you purchase it will enable a child in one of the war affected countries to attend a class. I think this is amazing and even more of a reason to purchase a gift set from this range.

Final Verdict
Overall I absolutely love this range. The scent and quality of the products are absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend them. I cannot fault the body shop at all. I really do hope they keep bringing this scent back as it has definitely already become a firm favourite. If you are interested in these products but don't want to buy them all separately like I did then head on over to The Body Shop's website HERE where you'll be able to find gift sets and every other body shop product as well.
