Hello everyone! Hope you are all having a lovely day! We are officially half way through the week! Not long now until the weekend. Today I haven't really done much, I went out to do a little bit of shopping and my gosh what a mistake that was! The weather today is just plain horrible in London. It's literally been raining non-stop. I seriously wish I was in Mauritius with my family where it is so warm and sunny at the moment. Oh well, bring on the summer is what I say! But let me get on to the point of this post now before I bore you all to death with weather talk!

If you follow me on twitter or instagram (If you aren't then why not?...KIDDING!) then you will know that at the weekend I went out shopping with my mum and she very generously treated me to these absolutely gorgeous boots which are from Brantano. I will be honest and say that I wasn't too keen on shopping there at first. None of the shoes seemed like the kind I would like but as Brantano is a proper shoe shop I knew that the quality would be absolutely amazing.  I spotted these two pairs of boots and  I just absolutely fell in love with them. They are so warm and comfortable and are just absolutely perfect for the horrific weather we are having here in the UK at the moment.

The first pair I chose were a pair of Emilio Luca X Red Witty Boots which are a brand I've never really heard of before. These are literally the comfiest shoes ever. They are just simple black slip on boots with a wool type material on the top that keeps your legs super warm. They also have a textile lining inside so it's really easy to put your feet in and out of the boots and I love that the heel is only two centimeters high as well. I've had boots before that have had higher heels and I just have not been able to walk in them. If you are as clumsy as me the lower the heel the better so these are just ideal.

The leather type material on the outside just means that the rain doesn't enter the shoe and soak your feet which is a bonus. I love the sole of these boots too because they are just perfect not just for rain but for the snow and any icy weather too. You won't really be slipping and sliding all over the place with these as they grip really well. There's also a zip at the side to make sure that you feet are secure inside the boots in case they slip off your feet. These were reduced from £42 to only £21 in the sale which I thought was an absolutely bargain.

The next pair of boots I chose were a brown pair of Emilio Luca X Push Bike Ankle Boots. These are again super comfortable and have a zip fastening at the sides. Again the lining is textile which makes it super easier to just get your feet in and out of. I used to have a terrible knack of wearing shoes that were just impossible to get on so this is definitely a bonus for me. The sole is a very simple resin sole which I like BUT I don't think it's a very practically heel for when the weather turns a bit icier as I reckon I will be sliding all over the place, but nonetheless I still think that these boots are very practically for the rainy weather.

Another reason I love these boots is because I think they would look good in the Spring/Summer paired with a nice summer dress and tights or just on their own depending on how 'summery' it actually is. I reckon I'll be able to get a lot of use from this all year round! Again this was reduced from £36 to only £17! I've double checked the receipt and definitely got this for £17, however the website seems to be saying £18. Regardless I think these boots are again an absolute bargain.

Overall I absolutely love these boots. I've never really been a shoe person and normally just stick to trainers or other very unpractical shoes for this weather so I'm so happy and thankful to my Mum for purchasing these for me. Like I have mentioned above these shoes were both in the sale and if you are all interested I have managed to find them available on the website. So click HERE if you are interested in the black boots and HERE if you are interested in the brown pair. I honestly think these are a total bargain! So snap them up asap if you are interested.

Valentine's Gift Guide For Her with Oscar de la Renta, Kate Spade, Nutella

Heya Everyone! Hope you are all well and have had a lovely Monday! First of all I am so sorry this post is late. I haven't been well today and also been busy cleaning the house with my Mum but I hope you all enjoy it.

Today I thought that I would get my Valentine's Day posts out of the way and start off with a female gift guide. I know mainly girls read my blog and will be looking for ideas for their boyfriends, however, if you are anything like me, maybe you like to spoil your mum or best friend on Valentines Day too! These ideas could be absolutely perfect. Or maybe you have been working so hard and want to treat yourself instead! If so keep on reading!

Michael Kors Watch
I absolutely love these watches. I think they are so incredibly classy and will go with everything. It's really nice to have that one statement jewelry piece that goes with everything you wear and I think watches are absolutely perfect for that. Now, I know these aren't cheap but I truly believe once you've bought this you'll never look back. I know I'll be treating myself to this soon!

Nutella Recipe Book
Need I say more? If you are a chocolate lover or have a loved one who absolutely is chocolate crazy then this will be absolutely perfect for them! Packed with 30 recipes this little book will be absolutely ideal for those days off and lazy days! I've never actually tried Nutella in my life so this is definitely an item I will be purchasing for my mum as well as myself! I love to bake and cook deserts so I'll get a lot of use from this.

Pandora Valentines Day Charm/Bracelet
I absolutely love Pandora and this year their valentines day collection is just absolutely beautiful. From heart rings to 'Happy Valentines Day' Pandora bracelet charms you're sure to find something that she will absolutely love. If your loved one doesn't yet have any pandora jewelry then a bracelet or ring will be perfect introductory items! Bracelets are ideal because then every year for birthdays, Christmas and Valentines Day that's a present sorted! Cheeky I know!

Personalize Your Canvas
Over Christmas I spotted this in the lovely Lily Pebbles 'What I Got For My Birthday' Video. Basically you head on over to the website HERE and choose the first letter of your loved ones name and create a canvas with words that best represent them. It is such a fabulous idea and something that they can put in a photo frame, or on a canvas and hang on the wall. It is such a fabulous gift idea and definitely something I will be treating a few people too not just for valentines day but for birthdays too.

'Lola' Marc Jacobs Perfume
I don't know about you but absolutely everyone I know is in love with Marc Jacobs perfumes. The bottles are just super stylish, the scents are incredible and they will just look absolutely gorgeous on her dressing table. Obviously there are many different Marc Jacobs perfumes but Lola is one of my personal favorites which is why I chose it.

Kate Spade iPad Folio
Another gift that I spotted in Lily Pebbles birthday video. After Christmas I ordered this case with the Christmas money I got given and I absolutely love it. It really protects my iPad and is just so effortlessly stylish. These are however extremely popular and sell out really fast on the website so definitely something to check out ASAP if you are interested. They do more than one style so you're bound to find something that will suit her and maybe even your own needs.

White Company Candles
Candles are just definitely the best thing in my opinion to combat stress and to just relax you. If the lady in your life has had a long hard day or is slightly stressed and just needs to relax then a freshly scented candle from White Company will be right up your street. These candles are incredible and they last a really long time too and I also love that they burn straight down and don't leave any wax at the side of the candle which is definitely a bonus for me!

SPA Day
If you are truly lost for ideas on what to get her for Valentines Day then why not treat her to a relaxing spa day followed by a lavish romantic meal at a restaurant in the evening or perhaps even a home made meal? Obviously if you are a male reading this that idea would suit your needs more, or if you are a female looking for ideas to spoil your friends then maybe a night out at a theater would be more up your street! Or a night out with your friends in general to celebrate being single will do the trick!

So there we go, those are my ideas for spoiling the women in your life whether its your partner, mum, or closest friends I'm sure there is something in here guaranteed to make them extremely happy! I will be doing a male gift guide as well towards the end of the week so make sure to follow me on twitter/instagram/bloglovin' to be the first to know when the post is published!

Do you already know how you are going to be treated/treating your loved ones this Valentines Day?

So I thought today that I would do my top two nail polishes ever. Now I know you are already thinking 'But they are spring colours?'. That is very true but I don't really tend to wear my nails according to season. I still wear bright clothes and accessories in winter and autumn as they are the dullest seasons. Particularly today, just look outside at how dark and dreary its been. It's horrible! So why not brighten things up with a few coloured accessories or in this case nails?

If you have been following my blog for a long time now then you will know I have a massive obsession with the Gelly Hi Shine Range. I just think the polishes are a bargain at only £3.99 each and sometimes Superdrug do an offer of Buy one get one half price so I always take advantage of this. I think I own every color in the gelly hi shine range now. Did I mention that I am obsessed?

My two favorite colors in the range have got to be Greenberry and Grapefruit. 'Greenberry' is an absolutely gorgeous turquoise shade which I have to say (and I'm sorry if this comes across as vain) looks absolutely stunning against my skin tone. I absolutely love this color and have so many tops and dresses which are this shade so to get a nail polish which looks as equally nice is a bonus. 'Grapefruit' is a gorgeous bright coral pink shade. (The pictures make it look darker so apologies for that) I absolutely love it. When it comes to coral make up I can never find anything that really suits me, however this nail polish looks absolutely incredibly on almost every skin tone so I couldn't help but purchase it.

These polishes are so incredibly easy to apply to the nails. Two coats applied give you that lovely opaque finish. I love the consistency of this polish too as its not too thick. I was worried that these would take absolutely forever to dry but your nails are done in under 5 minutes. Once they dry they leave an absolutely gorgeous shine on your nails. Other bonuses of this polish is that they don't chip easily and last a good 5-7 days, possibly even longer, before you need to reapply. When it comes to removing the polish I have had no problems at all. Normally I find some polishes (OPI in particular) can really stain your nails when you try and remove them but these come off no problem at all.

Like I have mentioned above the polishes are retailed at Boots/Superdrug for only £3.99 and they have a huge range of colors for you to choose from, from barbie pinks, to more green shades to darker shades for the current season. If you love these colors definitely go and stock up now as they will be extremely popular the nearer it gets to Spring/Summer.

Hey everyone! Hope you have all had a fabulous week and are excited for the weekend ahead. I've had a pretty good but tiring week this week. However, those of you who read my blog will probably be excited by my news! On Tuesday I woke up to a phone call telling me that I have finally landed myself a job with Thomas Cook overseas. I'll be working abroad for around six months with young children and I am so incredibly excited. But before I get too excited let me tell you about a favorite nail product of mine.

Ever since I was young, whenever I get scared or nervous or worried about something, the first thing I do is chew my nails. I know it's a disgusting habit but it's the only thing I can do that calms me down. I have looked for a long time now to find something that can help them grow and rid me of this vile habit but I just haven't been able to find anything. When I was in Boots one afternoon I spotted this nifty little product in the nails section.

Sally Hansen is a brand I always hear about within the beauty community but I have never really tried anything from them. However, I have heard their nail polishes and nail treatments are absolutely incredible so I didn't hesitate to pick this up. The main cause of my attraction to this product was the fact it was a daily nail treatment. Directions on the bottle state that you need to shake this product before application and basically you apply this all over your nails like a nail polish.

As you can see from the photos the product is a sort of pink/peach color however it goes on your nails like a clear polish. This treatment can be applied underneath a nail polish or worn on it's own. A little definitely goes a long way with this product. One dip covers around 3-4 nails at a time meaning the product will last  a lot longer.

When you first buy this product the packaging states that you should see visible results in up to one week and I absolutely agree. By the end of the first week my nails appeared longer, stronger and healthier. However it is extremely important to apply a fresh coat every day in order to see maximum results. I always do this first thing in the morning when I wake up. I keep the bottle on my bed side table so that I don't forget.

I would recommend this product for anyone who struggles with stubborn short, brittle and weak nails that refuse to grow. It is also a  perfect product if like me you are a nail biter and need motivation to help you grow them. This product also has a bit of a nasty scent/taste so there's no temptation to bite your nails. BONUS for me! I've used this product for around a month now and I have seen such a difference with my nails. I am no longer afraid to hide them and I'm proud to show them off! This product can also double up as a base/top coat as well which is perfect for all you nail polish lovers out there. This retails at BOOTS for only £4.89.

Are you a nail biter like me or have short, weak and brittle nails? Have you tried this product before?

Hello Everyone! Hope you had a fabulous weekend and are having a good week so far! Before I start this post I'd like to say a massive thank you. Over the weekend I received 200 followers on bloglovin' and 120 on GFC. I never in my wildest dreams expected to get that many and even though to a lot of you it might not be a lot for me I consider it a huge deal so thank you all so so much!! If you follow me on instagram or twitter then you will have seen me uploading photos of a new phone case I bought for my new iPhone. Quite a few people have tweeted me and asked me where I have got it from so I thought why not do a post? Enjoy!

Casetagram is a company that allows you to make your own personalized phone cases using all the photos that hold a special place in your heart. You can make an iPhone, iPad and iPod cases using the photos from your instagram. If you are anything like me and get a bit snap happy then you will have hundreds of photos to choose from instagram or facebook or any photos that have already you have already taken and are just sitting in your camera role. It's so incredibly simple and so much fun too! Now if you are uncomfortable using an app to purchase things you can head on over to their website which will be linked at the end. You will find that the prices are in US dollars but converted it comes to around £25.00 which I don't find too bad as this is personalized to your taste.

As you can see I choose this particular design purely because of the number of photos I can fit onto it. Some of the other collages you can only fit a few photos but I love that you could fit big photos as well as smaller photos onto this case. I absolutely loved choosing photos from different points in my life and arranging them on my phone case.

As well as the different collages they also have different types of cases. The one I chose is a simple snap on but they also do ones that add a bit more protection to your phone. These are however, slightly pricier than the option I chose so bear that in mind when you are choosing your case. If you are like me and tend to drop your phone a lot perhaps the ones that have more protection will be more up your street. I'm not a big fan of the huge bulky and heavy cases so this one is right up my street.

Now I don't mean to be a negative ninny here but the case took a very long time to arrive. I ordered this 2 days before Christmas and it only arrived on Saturday so please bear that in mind when ordering. It is coming a long way however and when I tweeted them complaining they tweeted me back straight away apologizing and stated that this is something they are working on resolving at the moment. I thought this was brilliant customer service so I definitely did not mind waiting a little bit longer.

Overall I am in love with this case. All these memories and people hold such a special place in my heart so this is something that definitely means a lot to me. The case is extremely well made and as you can see from the case above, the photos are of an extremely high quality. I was worried that you wouldn't be able to see the smaller photos as well but I was extremely wrong as they are very clear. I like that the case has a little watermark on so you know exactly where it was from.

If you are interested in this case then please head on over to their website HERE. You will find that the prices are in US dollars but converted it comes to around £25.00 which I don't find too bad as this is  A very well made product that is personalized to your taste.

Are you a softie at heart and tend to get nostalgic like me? Is this case something that would be right up your street?

Hugs and Kisses

Way before I started my beauty blog I kept on seeing beauty boxes creeping up on the scene and they started to become incredibly popular. The main box when I started my own blog was the glossy box. I then decided to subscribe and wait for my box to arrive and when it did I couldn't have been more disappointed. I found that is was mainly samples that I could have got in a copy of an Avon magazine or just picked up at Debenhams and other shops like that. Definitely not worth it. I didn't even wait until the following month, I decided to cancel my subscription straight away as I saw a lot of other bloggers saying the exact same thing. Definitely not worth the money. Don't get me wrong I find glossy box's concept amazing, but I just wasn't impressed at all.

Last year I came across the Love Me Beauty box thanks to Kayleigh, aka CoutureGirl and became instantly intrigued and really wanted to try the boxes as I thought the whole concept behind them was amazing. Basically you get the choice of 3 menus per month which is basically the choice of 3 different boxes! Each menu contains a list of 5 different products which contain both a mixture of full size and sample sizes. Some of the products are the same in every box but also contain contain completely different products which is amazing as you have the choice of boxes to suit your own specific needs. Some of the products will be high end as well as slightly cheaper products too. It's just an incredible concept.

At the beginning of January I decided to try out the January Box with some of the Christmas money I got given. I opted for Menu 2 as this contained a list of products that I was interested in the most. The box arrived yesterday and I absolutely loved the way it is packaged. I love how colorful the contents are and I love that they include the menu which gives detail descriptions of all the products that have been sent to you!
Here is a list of products that I received:

NYX Cosmetics Single Eyeshadow in 'Rock' - RRP £5.00
Weleda Sea Buckhorn Hand Cream (Sample Size) - RRP £8.95
Anatomicals Rose & Jasmine Body Cleanser (Full Size) - RRP £3.00
Pureology Colour Stylist Silk Bodifier (250ML) - RRP £15.00
Cosmetics a la Carte Divine Lash Mascara in 'Black' (Full Size) - RRP £23.00

So far I have only tried two of these products the body cleanser and the hand cream. I will admit that I was a bit skeptical about the rose and jasmine body cleanser as I am not a huge floral fan and rose happens to be one of my least favourite scents as very often I find it is too overpowering and tends to give me headaches but this product has a very subtle rose fragrance. I tried it out last night and it really leaves your skin soft and smooth and the rose and jasmine scent just lingers on your skin for hours after you've had a shower. I have also tried out the hand cream and I am thoroughly impressed. It leaves my hands feeling incredibly moisturized and soft. If you have read my previous posts then you will know how vital a hand cream is for me all year round especially winter!

Overall I am incredibly impressed with this box. The contents are incredibly varied from skincare, haircare and even make up items. You can head on over HERE  to select your own box for only £10 + £2.95 p&p! I reckon this is a complete bargain because, as you can see the contents of the box themselves are worth a whopping £54.95!! It definitely is a beauty lovers dream and I am already incredibly excited to receive the February box! Make sure to stay tuned to my twitter & bloglovin' to find out when I post full reviews of all these items. I can't wait to try the other 3 items that I received!

Have you ever tried a beauty box before? Have I tempted you into trying the Love Me Beauty box?

Heya guys! Hope you are all having a fantastic week so far! Only two days left until the weekend. Can we just take a moment to say how fast this year is going already? We are already half way through January. Like it doesn't even feel like Christmas happened. What? But I am having a pretty good year so far! I hope the same can be said for all of you reading this post.

Today I thought I would do a  review on this gorgeous collection of lip balms I got for Christmas. They are the 'Cute or What' trio of lip balms which I think were purchased in Boots! (I don't tend to ask where presents are from, sorry!). Saying that however, I'm pretty sure my cousin bought them in Boots because when I was in there a couple of weeks ago I noticed a few other items in the 'Cute or What' range that I'm thinking of going back and purchasing myself because I just think they are adorable.

First of all look at the packaging! Like how cute is the little owl, doe and fox on the lids? So adorable. These definitely stand out from all my other lip balms and since Christmas I have been using them like crazy. I am also crazy in love with the scent! The scents are passion fruit, berry and raspberry and they smell as well as taste absolutely incredible. You all know how much I love my sweet and fruity scents so this just ticks all the boxes for me. I also love the fact the lip balms are just small enough to pop in almost any sized hand bag. They just don't take up any room at all! Amazing.

Now I know what you're all thinking. All this for a lip balm? What else is so special about it? The hydrating properties that these lip balms have is seriously amazing. I also love the fact that these lip balms are incredibly sheer so I just tend to apply this every night before I go to bed. This means that when I wake up in the morning my lips are incredibly soft and feel very moisturized! In the UK it is also freezing at the moment and normally when it is this cold my lips look dry, chapped and they are very often bleeding. It is not good. But this has changed that and when I wake up in the morning (feeling like P.Diddy...I had to sorry) my lips are incredibly soft and I can just apply whatever lipstick I am planning on wearing that day without having to apply a lip balm underneath.

Overall I absolutely love these lip balms. I know they won't be to everyone's taste but if you love the idea of having berry, raspberry or passion fruit tasted and scented lips then I would highly recommend you pick these up the next time you are in Boots. However, I would recommend you be quick because I think these are some of the items that they are trying to shift after Christmas, so if you are interested make sure you hurry, hurry, hurry!

Did you receive any cute lip balms for Christmas or bought any cute ones recently. Leave me a comment letting me know the names below as I am looking to expand my lip balm collection!

Heya everyone! So I have another beauty related review for you all today. When I was in Superdrug last week I spotted the L'Oreal Cleansing Oil. I have never really used a cleansing OIL before. I mainly use cream based or water based cleansers so to try an oil was something I was looking forward too. When I got it home I decided to start using it that night and I did have some worries. These were that it would make my skin feel too greasy and that it wouldn't be able to wash off my skin properly. However, I was proved wrong and this is definitely going to become a holy grail product for me during 2014.

The first aspect that I absolutely love about this cleanser is the packaging. I absolutely love the fact the cleanser comes in a clear bottle. Now I am a huge lover of the cleanse and polish however because the bottle is so incredibly opaque I never really know how much I have left so the fact that you are able to see exactly how much you have got left is a total bonus. I also love the color of the oil as well. The main reason for this is because it was really eye catching. On the shelves they placed it next to the L'Oreal Miceller Water which is a clear product so your attention was immediately shifted onto this oil. Another thing I absolutely love about the packaging is the fact it comes with a pump. I absolutely love products that have pumps. I just think it's so much easier to estimate how much you need so you don't go overboard. If you don't think you have enough product you can always pump another amount it. I just really love pumps!

Another aspect I love about this cleanser is that it can be used on not just your face but can also be used near the eyes. Even though I absolutely love miceller waters they do tend to irritate my eyes but I get none of that with this product. This is probably due to the obvious reason that the product isn't filled with harsh chemicals that can sting the eyes as well as damage the skin and strip the skin of their essential natural oils. This cleanser makes sure that it retains all the oils that you need in your skin. Bonus or what? I definitely agree with the claim that it 'Instantly dissolves even waterproof make up'. As you know I am a huge lover the Maybelline The Rocket Waterproof mascara and I find with other cleanser it is extremely difficult to remove however it comes off like a dream with this cleanser.

When using this cleanser I apply a pump (or two) on my hands and massage the oil all over my face (including eyes). Let's just take a minute to talk about the fragrance. I've seen a couple of reviews that says it doesn't really contain any scent but I find it to be quite fruity and very pleasant. Once the cleanser has been applied all over my face, lashes and eyes I then apply cold or luke warm water. Upon application of the water the oil is immediately changed into a light white color and the consistency is incredibly watery and definitely not greasy at all. This is to ensure that it also cleanses your face as well as removes all traces of make up. It also leaves your skin feeling incredibly clean and soft which is how I love my skin to feel after I've used a cleanser. The cleansing oil washes off just as easy as any facial wash you are applying but leaves an even better result.

Overall I absolutely adore this cleanser. It definitely feels greasy upon application but with an oil based product you need to expect that. After I've cleansed my face the oily feel I had when I first applied it instantly disappears and my skin is left feeling incredible cleansed and deeply hydrating. Because of the deeply hydrating properties contained within this cleanser I would highly recommend it for those of you who have normal/dry skin. Like I've mentioned before it isn't a harsh cleanser so it won't strip your skin of the natural oils contained. If you're looking for a product that not only cleanses your skin but removes all traces of make up then this is for you! It can be purchased at Boots for £7.99, however I purchased it in Superdrug for £5.49 (I think...I definitely know it was £5 something).

Have you already tried this cleansing oil or any other cleansing oil? What are your views on them?

Heya everyone! Hope you have all had a lovely week and have got a sense of normality back now after the festive season. I know I certainly have. My cousin is now back at Mauritius, my parents have started work properly, my brother has returned to college so it is just me at home on a daily basis applying for one job after the other and taking trips to the local shopping center handing in CVs and asking if there are any vacancies within the stores there. Even though my dream is to go into the tourism industry I will honestly take any job as of now just to build up my experience and so that I can have a little bit of income as well. Those of you who think it's so easy to 'go get a job' it really isn't! But before I ramble way to much (is it just me or are my intros becoming incredibly long lately) let's get onto the point of this post.

A few days ago I headed out to Superdrug (a danger zone for me) in order to purchase the collection concealer. We already know that's not all I stepped out the store with. I bought a conditioning hair mask, cleansing oil and this cute little product which is the Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Primer. If you have been following my blog for a long time you will already know that I absolutely love the Baby Lips so when I spotted this I absolutely had to purchase it. The first thing I thought off when I saw this product was the fact that it will draw about a zillion comparisons to Benefit's Porefessional Primer which I have also recently purchased. Now the question you are all desperate to have answered. Do I like this primer?

The answer is YES! I have never been a big user of primers. During 2013 the only primer I used was the Bourjois Happy Light primer which is one of the very few I was able to spot in the drugstore. Who knew good primers were that hard to find? However this primer is very good. I love how cute and eye catching the packaging is as it instantly grabs your attention when on the shelves which at the moment is evident in the shops as 90% of places have sold out!

The aim of this primer is to smooth down the skin and the appearance of pores (like it says on the "tin'). I didn't actually think I would like this product due to the silicone/gel like formula. Normally I'm not a huge fan of products that have that type of consistency. I find that a little definitely goes a long way with this primer. I squeeze out just an amount slightly bigger than a pea and apply it all over my face and I love how it leaves the skin feeling velvety soft. It does however also make my skin feel just very slightly greasy due to the texture of the product but I can excuse that as it just does the job brilliantly.

It also creates that sort of 'your skin, but better' affect and definitely reduces the appearance of pores which is the main reason people will purchase this product. I love how easy it is for foundation to be applied over the top of this. It just glides on and makes it easier to blend, however because of the velvety and oilier finish it leaves it doesn't leave the foundation on as long either however that can vary with what foundations your apply and whether or not you apply powder on over the top!

Overall I love this primer, I find it does exactly what it says on the tin and because it makes the appearance of your skin look better I won't really mind just applying this on lazy days. I find this primer would probably work well for those who have normal/dry skin. I wouldn't really recommend it for people who have oilier skin as it will just increase the shine on your face. These cute little primers are available to purchase in Boots for £7.99 and because they have just been released they are super popular so if you would like to try this I'd head out there fast! Like I mentioned earlier in this post I have also bought and tried the POREfessional Primer from Benefit so make sure to hit that follow button on bloglovin' in order to be among the first to know my thoughts!

Have you tried this primer yet or even tried the POREfessional Primer from Benefit? Which one would you recommend more?

Heya everyone! Hope you have all had a fabulous week. So on Tuesday (7th January) my cousin, brother, Mum and I all went to the Harry Potter Tour at Warner Bros Studios in Watford London. As a huge Harry Potter fan this was absolutely amazing for me. It was also my cousin's final day in the UK as she had to return back home on the 8th January, so it was a perfect final day and we all had an incredible day. I definitely want to go back. I was slightly disappointed we didn't make it on time to see the studios decorated for Christmas but nonetheless I had a fantastic time and definitely plan on going back soon.

As you can probably guess I ended up taking quite a lot of photos and I thought what better way to share them than to do a blog post about it! This post is pretty photo heavy so please do continue scrolling till the end and I will contain more information after the photos! ENJOY!!

The Great Hall was honestly spectacular. I saw a couple of young children open mouthed, like they couldn't believe what they were seeing. It was so nice to see! I loved how they had the tables set for actual meals. The teachers table at the top of the hall was amazing and I love how the had models of all the teachers such as Mad Eye, Dumbledore, Snape, McGonagall and obviously the famous Hagrid. Behind the table was a window and even though I wasn't able to capture it on camera (disadvantages of not being a youtuber) they had a falling star affect which was amazing.

The Yule Ball section was pretty beautiful. I absolutely loved the crystal setting with all the glasses and the actual clothing Ron, Harry, Hermione, Cho and Victor Krum wore. Everything here was what was actually used. Including all the chocolate on the table. Well actually, it wasn't real chocolate but you get what I mean. When I was listening to the digital guide, however, it was mentioned that actual chocolate was provided for the cast to eat, so I can imagine they had a great time!

'You're just as sane as I am' Ring a bell? This is Hogwarts Entrance Gate that was provided at that scene and is actually seriously incredible when you see it in person. I did have a photo taken in front of it but it my mum zoomed in so I thought this one would look better as you get to see the whole thing.

The Gryffindor Bed Chamber was pretty amazing. These beds were actually made especially for the first film but they were used in all 8 films. However it was mentioned that they were made for 11 year old boys. By the end of the films they had all grown up so when they were in the beds they actually had to curl up to make it look like they still fitted in them. The wonders of movie making!

This is the dial that was used in the 3rd film when Harry and Hermione went back in time to release Serious Black, the scale of this set was pretty spectacular and I loved how it actually moved left to right as well. The Chamber Of Secrets Opening was also beautiful in person. Like in the film they had a snake go the whole way round too which I loved as it made it look so real! Unfortunately I couldn't capture this on camera.

If I had a better camera you would have been able to see all the little details that I tried to capture from The Gryffindor Common Room, however the photos were just way to blurry unfortunately. You really need to spend time to spot all the little details here such as a bunny situated on the back tapestry! The outfits on the models are the clothes that the 2 leads wore in the third film. The Burrow was also amazing. I love how they had the clock on the wall and a moving knife on the table that cut the carrots and a scrubbing brush that's meant to be cleaning the saucepan too! Honestly spellbinding. (See what I did there)

Dumbledore's office was pretty spectacular. Again you had to spend time looking around here to find the Sword of Gryffindor, 2 Dumbledore's and obviously The Sorting Hat. The different cabinets have so many gorgeous and unusual objects in as well. I particularly loved the memory cabinet as it was gold and so incredible beautiful.

The Potion's Classroom was pretty amazing too. However the one thing I found really interesting about this particular set is that it has actually been used in other movies too and wasn't just used as the classrooms. That in all fairness didn't really surprise me because there are not that many scenes in Snape's classroom is there? I loved Hagrid's Hut too! I loved how they had a real model of fang and the size of Hagrid. An interesting fact about Hagrid is that the actor who played him had a stunt double. The stunt double was a Rugby Player who was 6 foot 10!!! Insane! I also loved how pink and girly Umbridge's office was. I loved the little plates on the wall that contains photos of puppies and kittens too. So cute. I also loved the section they had of all the different outfits she had worn in the film as well.

They then had a section outside where you could buy some refreshments and the famous butterbeer, which unfortunately I didn't try as the queue was so long, got to have photos on the Night Bus and the Flying Car, outside 4 Privet Drive, near the Hogwarts bridge which was unfortunately closed on this particular day, outside the house where Lily and James lived and then again before you head back inside near some of the props that was used for the Chess scene in the first film. Amazing sets and props.

We then headed back inside where you could walk through to Diagon Alley which was INCREDIBLE! I absolutely loved the footprints in the snow which was Harry walking through in his invisibility cloak, the exterior of Olivanders and obviously the puking pastilles display outside the weasley's shop as well.
They would have come in handy for skipping a few lessons at school I'm sure! Genius idea!

The final section was the Hogwarts Castle which is a 1:74 scale model. It was absolutely amazing and is so much bigger than anything you would expect. I originally thought it was a small model in a glass case. I don't know why but that is what I was expecting to see so obviously to see this exceeded my expectations. I also loved that the lights alternated to day and night so you had a glimpse of what the castle looks like in both. It was truly amazing. The final FINAL section was a room that contained thousands of wands! This wands contained names of all the main cast and crew that worked on the films. Truly truly amazing and it just makes you think how much work went into making these films. I think it's truly worth all the success it has had. After this there was the giftshop where I didn't buy anything, however I will be purchasing a Gryffindor scarf in the future. You know, as my last name is Griffin and that. Yes you can imagine how much I got and still do get teased!

Overall it was an absolutely amazing day. I can't believe I finally got to go and experience these studios live. I definitely plan on going again! If you haven't been I would highly recommend it! If you already have been let me know what you thought below!

Harry Potter Studio Tour
