So we've finally made it to the end of 2014 and what a year it has been. I honestly cannot believe how fast this year has gone. I thought that to end my year I would do a recap of the past year and what its been like for me as well as my blog. If you know me in real life or have followed my social media, namely twitter and instagram then you will know I've had a pretty amazing year. Keep reading my post to find out why!

2014 was a pretty amazing year. If you have been following my social media or know me in real life then you will know that this is the happiest I have been in a long time. In January I went to the Harry Potter studios when my cousin Deepti was still here and I absolutely love it. It is absolutely amazing and if you haven't yet been I would highly recommend it. I then saw Taylor Swift live at the 02 in February and as I absolutely love her you can imagine how incredibly excited I was to go and see her and she didn't disappoint. During this time however I was applying for a ton of jobs and getting really frustrated that I wasn't getting anywhere until I got an email inviting me to an assessment day. From the assessment day I proceeded to get the job which was for the summer. This was a Thomas Cook overseas Children's representative.

If you have been following my instagram then you will know what fun I had overseas. I was working in Turkey. Working with children is something that I have done for a long time now however nothing on this scale. I'm not going to lie and say that it was all sunshine and happiness because it wasn't. At times it got quite difficult and stressful to the point of me ending up in tears. However overall definitely the experience was definitely something that I will treasure forever. I got to work with and meet so many incredible people, even children who definitely inspired me at times. I also stepped out of my comfort zone and even participated in the hotel's shows of The Lion King and Mamma Mia which was a fantastic experience and something I thoroughly enjoyed and I even did parasailing which was incredible and something I'd definitely do again. I have actually signed up for a second season next year so I am extremely excited to go back and experience new things with new people again.

On my return home I was very excited to catch up with some of my friends who I haven't seen in ages. I got to catch up with my best friend from uni and find out how her adorable baby boy is doing. It was so good just coming back and catching up on life and seeing my family and my friends. 2014 also reunited me with some friends that I had previously fallen out with. In my second year of uni I fell out with quite a lot of my friends and it really did upset me, however over the summer we all got back in touch with one an other and decided to patch things up which made me extremely happy and not going to lie I did shed a tear at times. We all realised that we have grown up a lot and changed so much as people that it would be silly to let a small thing which hardly any of us can remember get in the way. That made me extremely happy.

In terms of my blog in 2014 I can't even begin to express how happy I am with just how far it has come. I didn't blog for quite a lot of the summer as I just didn't have enough time however during that time my views shot up dramatically! On some days I was receiving around 2000 views on my blog which was absolutely insane. I also had a blog revamp as I 2015 is the year that I want to put in more effort into my blog and really make it something I can be proud of. Maybe it can lead me to completely new places I don't know but it is definitely something I am now extremely proud of. It is now the end of 2014 and I am almost have 500 people following my blog which I think is absolutely incredible.

In 2015 I will be getting back to the beauty reviews on my blog which I have neglected the past couple of months. I currently have about 25+ titles that are saved in my draft so fear not I will be back with more reviews. I will also be starting the year off going through some of my favourite products from the past 12 months so make sure to follow my twitter/instagram to know when I post. You can find me over at @xbellefleurx. If there is anything else you would like to see on my blog please let me know and also let me know in the comments below what your favourite posts of mine have been as I would be very interested to know.

This post was longer than I expected it to be so I'll end it here by saying thank you so much to everyone who has been a huge part of my life this year as you all mean the world to me. Even those of you online who have taken the time out to send me lovely messages and leave me lovely comments on my blog posts I really do appreciate it. I hope you all have a very Happy New Year and here's to an amazing 2015!

What have been your 2014 highlights?
Hugs and Kisses
Hey Everyone! So today I thought that I would do another post in my top 10 favourites series and talk to you all about my favourite TV shows of 2014. There are so many that I've watched this year and rewatched as well. Most of them are my favourite shows of all time as well so I hope you enjoy this post.

Gilmore Girls
This has to be my favourite show of all time. Based around a young single mum and her 16 year old daughter both called Lorelei Gilmore (the daughter is called Rory for short)in a small town called Stars Hallow. This show as everything from humour to romance to the occasional ugly moments too. I absolutely love this show. It has taught me so much as well. It has seven series all together and the show is just incredible.

One Tree Hill
Based on a group of friends from a town called Tree Hill. Again this is just one of them programmes that is easy to watch but is absolutely incredible. I just love the story lines and I think that this show has taught me so much and helped me so much in life with just simple things that they say. One of my favourite lines from the show is the following. 'At this moment in time there are 6471818671 people in the world. Some are running scared, some are coming home. Some tell lies to make it through the day, others are now facing the truth. Some are evil men at war with good, and some are good struggling struggling with evil. 6 billion people in the world. 6 billion souls. Sometimes all you need is one.'

Gossip Girl
I was extremely late on the bandwagon when it came to this show. I didn't actually watch it until the beginning of the year before I went to Turkey and I absolutely love it. I think I watched all six series in like a month? Yeah a month. That's how obsessed I was. Oops. But no seriously, the show is absolutely incredible and I'd highly recommend it. All I need now is my very own Chuck Bass and too look like Serena and my life will be complete.

The Vampire Diaries
The lovely Gabriella from VelvetGh0st and I were talking about this show one night and she kept on telling me to watch it and I just wasn't sure as it didn't seem like my thing. I then gave up and watched it and became instantly hooked. It is incredible. I know people cringe at the thought of vampire stories especially after twilight which I really didn't like but this is nothing like twilight. I personally love it. Paul Wesley, Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev are just incredible actors. I'd highly recommend it.

The Originals
The originals is basically like the Vampire Diaries except it's focused on the first ever group of vampires to ever exist. The characters from this were in the vampire diaries too but were given their own show. I would watch the Vampire Diaries first before watching this as you'll be too confused if you jump straight into this but I absolutely love both shows.

Pretty Little Liars
Again another show that Gabriella told me to watch and I absolutely love it. It's one of those shows that literally has you on the edge of your seat for every single episode. It focuses on the lives of 4 girls after the loss of one of their best friends. Lucy Hale and Ashley Benson star in this and they are just incredible. I'd highly recommend it though maybe don't watch it before you go to bed as it can be quite scary at times!

90210
Oh what I would to to live in a place like Beverly Hills! This basically follows the life of a group of teenagers from Beverly Hills and shows their lives and struggles from relationships to family problems to even drug abuse! It's just an incredible show and I absolutely love it. I wish it ran for more seasons though. I also love the original Beverly Hills 90210 too!

Smash
Last year I was really into musicals and really wanted to take up musical theatre lessons and actings lessons just purely because it would be a hobby that I enjoy doing but I can't actually sing or dance so that would have been a bit hard. Me and Gabriella were talking and she introduced me to this show and I just absolutely feel in love with it. It shows you the difficulties of working in musical theatre as well as inspiring you so much! It also has incredible songs and music. Sadly the show only ran for two seasons but I still absolutely love re-watching it over and over again.

8 Simple Rules
I have been a huge fan of this show for years now but I found it in the TV Box Set section on Sky and I just had to download it and re-watch it and I just absolutely love it. It's absolutely hilarious. Sadly one of the actors in the show passed away which was awful and although the show was still good it was just never the same after this! I would however, highly recommend it as it's still funny and brilliant.

Made In Chelsea
Ahh good old MIC! I was never ever interested in this show I just found it a bit ridiculous when I used to read tweets and everything, however I started to watch the first season and became hooked. Based in London's Chelsea it is a scripted reality TV show that follows the lives of some of London's elite. I actually hate that I love it so much but if you love a show packed full of drama then this is definitely one for you. I just love it especially being a London girl myself.

So there we have it, those are my favourite TV shows of 2014 as well as being my favourite TV shows of all time. In 2015 I will try and find more new shows to watch and might just go on a netflix spree as I know there are so many other fab shows out there.

Hey everyone! Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and relaxing boxing day and are having a lovely weekend with your family. I can't believe we are into the last few days of 2014. I've had a pretty amazing year and if you would like to read all about it head back here on the 31st for a recap! Today however I thought I would show you all the lovely gifts that I got given. Just before I start I'd like to add a little disclaimer by saying that I am extremely grateful for all the gifts I receive and that this post is in no way me bragging or showing off. I personally love having a good old nose at other gifts people receive and I know other people feel the same but if you take a dislike to this post than you can always close this webpage. If not I hope you enjoy this post!

My main present from my Dad this year was this amazing stereo system and speakers. I mentioned, I think it was probably last month, that I don't really listen to the radio any more and that I am permanently listening to my iPod so he obviously took note and got me this! I'm so glad because it means that I can listen to my favourite radio stations as well as CDs. I have a box of CD's in my cupboard of all my favourite artists that I haven't listened to in ages from over the years. (Atomic Kitten's Greatest Hits anybody?).  Very happy with this and I've already been listening to it none stop!

My main present from my Mum was this pandora bracelet. If you have been reading my blog for a while then you will know this was always on my wishlist. I actually went shopping with my mum 2 days before Christmas and picked this out, however I had no idea about the charms. I absolutely love that she chose two charms to represent my love for travelling and my adventures with Thomas Cook at the moment. I love that the Suitcase charm has Paris written on it as this is one of my dream destinations. I haven't stopped wearing it since I received it and I know its literally become a staple on my wrist.

As you can see from the photo above I received quite a lot of jewellery for Christmas which I am so grateful for. My brother bought me the small rose gold ring when we were out shopping 2 days before Christmas and I absolutely love it. I haven't stopped wearing it. I took part in a Secret Santa with the girls I worked with over the summer and my friend, Lucia, bought me this lovely purple necklace and earring set which is so beautiful. I literally have not taken the necklace off since I got it. It's stunning. I also took part in a blogging secret santa and received this gorgeous three bracelet set which I absolutely love as I've been really getting into wearing bracelets lately. I love that all three of these can go with absolutely everything so again, they will be permanent staples on my wrist. My aunt then got me the absolutely beautiful blue bangle, the white necklace and earring set which is so stunning and the small leaf earrings too. I'll definitely be saving the white earring set for a special occasion as they are just so incredibly beautiful.

I was actually eyeing up this gift set before Christmas so I am super grateful to have received this from my Aunt! Even though I love beauty when it comes to skincare I just can't resist! The products smell absolutely incredible and I am so excited to have a bit of a pamper session with these.

My mum also picked out a few body products for me as she knows just how much I love them. These products are just so incredibly gorgeous! The florentyna body lotion just smells absolutely amazing and is really moisturising. I have used it a couple of times since Christmas already and I just love the scent. The vanilla and raspberry shower gel is probably one of my all time favourite shower gels. I already had the royal jelly hand and body lotion before for my birthday but my mum decided to get me this again because I was running a little low. It's incredible. I tend to use it more for a hand lotion though as I find it works a lot better.

My blogging secret santa also got me these gorgeous products from Lush and I absolutely love them. I've only used 3 bath bombs before from lush but I am super excited to use these for my annual new years day pamper session. They smell absolutely incredible as well. I bought the snowman last year and I absolutely loved it so I'm extremely thankful to have received it this year too!

Every year I always receive a lot of perfume for Christmas. It's tradition in my family. My Mum goes out every year and buys the whole family a lot of perfume. I am extremely thankful this year to have received three gorgeous scents. The Katy Perry one and the POLICE perfume are gifts from my mum. I actually showed her the bottle when we were in the perfume shop for the POLICE one as it was a purple skull and I just found it so cool, it smells pretty amazing too. My aunt got me the Hugo Boss perfume which I've used before and it smells absolutely incredible! So excited to use these throughout the year. I'm well and truly stocked up on the perfume front.

Happy Jackson are a brand I spotted in a shop called Presence in Watford and I just fell in love with their products. I think they are so cool and quirky and my Dad agreed, however I didn't expect him to get me anything but I was clearly surprised. I absolutely love the A5 and A6 notepads as I think that they will be absolutely perfect for blogging ideas and jotting down little notes. I also love that the pen says 'Happy Days' on it. You can't help but smile when you see these products as they are all have positive things written on them.

Another present that I received off one of my friends was this gorgeous 'To Do' List. As someone who likes to be a little bit organised, I'm not actually the best at it so this is definitely something that can help me. I can organise my life on a weekly basis, plan when to upload blog posts etc. Very excited to use this.

If you have seen my previous posts then you may already know that I have this book, however my Uncle knows how much I love writing in my journal and decided to get me this one and I have no complaints! It just means that for the next 10 years I'll need to journals! It's such a beautiful book and I am going to be using it to write down at least one positive thing that has happened every day for the next 5 years. I'll be 29 by the time this one is finished! Woah!!

One thing I was super excited to receive from my mum this year was my stocking. Purely because I've never actually had a stocking before! I know right?! My parents just always used gift bags or wrapped our presents up normally however me and my brother were talking one day about stockings and I guess my mum took note! We only had a small stocking so not a lot could be put in them but I absolutely loved what I got. I received two Tanya Burr lipglosses, I already had 3 so I am super happy to have received two more, the lush Santa lip scrub which my brother got me, Zoella's candle, a gorgeous pink sparkly pen, a nail file (in the blue packaging) and two fragrance sachets as well which I absolutely love and which smell incredible.

My friend, Lucia, who was my secret Santa also bought me this gorgeous mug with photos from the Summer spent in Turkey. She knows how nostalgic I get and how much I love watching old photos and videos for reminders and stuff so this is absolutely perfect! I love every photo of this mug and will definitely keep it somewhere same!

Now the above two presents I received when I came back from Turkey but I thought I would include them in here anyway as I wasn't here for my birthday  and my mum decided to give them to me as an early Christmas present anyway. She bought the elephant and beautiful mother of pearl jewellery box from Mauritius which is where my family are from and I absolutely love it! Both are so beautiful. I love the fact that the elephant is sparkly and it just looks so pretty and unusual sitting on my dressing table. The mother of pearl jewellery box is where I am going to keep all my every day jewellery so that it's easy for me to access it. Such beautiful gifts from Mauritius.

Like with quite a few families it is tradition to start the Christmas celebrations with new pyjamas on Christmas Eve. I absolutely love these red ones with stars on that my Mum chose as I think they look so incredibly christmassy and festive but they are still PJs that we can use all year round. I absolutely adore them.

As you can see I was extremely lucky this year and received lots of lovely goodies. I have got a couple of beauty items on their way to me in the post as well including the Nars On The Run palette which my mum ordered before Christmas but still hasn't arrived. With some of the Christmas money that I receieved I ordered a few beauty bits from origins and benefit which I am very excited to receive.

I am extremely thankful and grateful for everything I received and like I said at the beginning of this post in no way showing off, I just know that these are incredibly popular posts this time of the year and how much people like seeing what other people got, me included so I really hope that you enjoyed this post! If you have done one of these posts yourself then please leave them in the description below.

What did you receive for Christmas 2014?

IT'S CHRISTMAS EVE and the final day of blogmas! I cannot believe that both days have arrived. I cannot that months and months of preparation all comes down to tomorrow and that I managed to successfully complete blogmas without missing any days! I'm so proud of myself and I've hoped you've enjoyed my daily blogging! Anyway, today me and my brother went to Central London as it's our Christmas tradition and I ended up taking loads of photos to share with you all. They are all taken with my iphone as I completely forgot to charge my camera. Oops! But I am pretty happy with how they turned out anyway.

The above photo is Leicester Square which was basically converted into a mini winter wonderland. It was so festive and extremely Christmassy! They had rides there and little Christmas market stalls with some serving food and literally stalls where you could win those cute little teddies and stuff. I absolutely loving walking around there. There were so many people wearing Santa hats today too which I loved!

After Leicester Square we headed to Covent Garden which is my absolutely favourite place in the world and obviously in London. I just love that place so much. It is so lively and so different to anywhere else in London. I absolutely loved the atmosphere there today and the fact it looked so unbelievable festive with the tree and all the decorations. I especially liked the lego Santa and reindeer! I thought this was a very cool touch and something that all the kids seemed to absolutely love.

We then headed to Trafalgar Square where they have a huge Christmas tree! What we were not expecting to find was a Santa Clause and a little silver man! It was very interesting. It was so lovely seeing all the little kids running up to Santa and giving him a hug. They also had Yoda from Star Wars there and Minnie and Micky Mouse. If you would like to see photos of them head on over to my instagram at xbellefleurx.

We then headed down to Bond Street and has a lovely little walk around. Victoria's Secret just looked so Christmassy and girly that I just had to take a picture and I absolutely love the decoration of Cartier as well. The Burlington and Piccadilly Arcades looked so beautiful and festive too. Couldn't resist of taking a photo of Tiffany's either! It just looks so gorgeous with all the wreaths hanging in the windows.

We finally headed down Regents and Oxford streets to take a look at the lights as we hadn't actually seen them yet which is crazy considering we live in London haha! We've just been so busy this festive season that we haven't actually had time for anything.  The last thing we saw was Harrods. Look how beautiful it is with all the twinkling lights and everything. It's gorgeous. We then decided to head on home as I had my burgundy healed boots on. Since we walked around London you can imagine how much my feet were killing me!

It was then time to head on home and begin the festive Christmas Eve traditions. I always write Christmas cards for all the neighbours then come back home and finish wrapping all the presents and sticking them under the tree. This year however all my wrapping has been done for at least a week so I was able to just relax and type up this blog post for you. I'm now going to have a little Christmas pamper evening with some gorgeous l'occitane and body shop products and then sit down with my family and watch 'A Christmas Carol'.

I'll end this post here by saying thank you all so much. It means the world to me to know that nearly 500 of you read my blog and my crazy ramblings about things I never thought anybody would care about. My blog has come pretty far this year and I couldn't be happier and amazed with the response on everything on here. I will commence blogging on the 26th November and from then on my normal blogging routine of about 3 posts a week will commence. If there is anything you would like to see then please leave me a comment below.

I hope you all have an absolutely wonderful Christmas with your friends and family. Eat, drink and be merry! Don't forget Christmas isn't about what's under the tree but who's around it. Saying that I hope all your wishes come true tomorrow! Have an absolutely wonderful time and I will speak to you again on the 26th December.

What are your Christmas Eve Traditions?
 Hugs and Kisses

Christmas is my favourite time of the year for cosy nights in. A couple of nights ago I had a really nice evening in watching films, eating chocolate and having a fabulous pamper session. Right now I am absolutely loving the Glazed Apple range from The Body Shop and I also love using the NUDE Skin Care range too (review to come in the new year). I am starting to let my nails grow at the moment as well as I just have so much nail polish and the only place I put them is on my toes where nobody can see them! Pretty pointless! 2015 will be the year I, Fleur Griffin finally have decent nails!

After I have finished my pamper session I will pop downstairs where we now have a brand new TV and look for something to watch! I love the selection of fabulous movies on TV and I've been loving watching Sky Christmas however I bought The Polar Express a few days ago and decided to watch that with my brother and I absolutely loved it. It is such a beautiful film and I'm not going to lie here, I did shed a tear towards the end. It's just a beautifully done Christmas movie and if you haven't seen it yet I'd highly recommend it.

Whilst we were watching the film I made my brother and I some lovely hot chocolate with cinnamon in it for that extra Christmassy touch and just enjoyed the film. We also had some celebrations next to us as well. Oops! I'll definitely be hitting the gym in January that's for sure! Christmas is awful for expanding waistlines!

After the film I decided to pop upstairs and lit a candle which is the Sugared Apple one from Yankee Candle. It smells really nice but I am kinda unsure about the scent at the same time if that makes any sense at all. It's not normally what I would burn and not really my kind of scent so I don't really know what to think of it but it looks gorgeous on my dressing table burning and I absolutely love the name of it as well.

I will then choose to do one of three things. Before any of these things though I need to put on music. This can either be extremely poppy and upbeat or lovey dovey tunes. At the moment I am completely obsessed with the Britain's Got Talent winners, Collabro's new album. It is an album full of covers but their vocals are just gorgeous and they put their own take on the song. Once my music is on I will then choose to either write a new blog post, read a book or write in my journal. I am obsessed with the 'I Heart' Series by Lindsay Kelk. Currently reading I Heart Paris which I think is the third book in the series and I absolutely love it. Definitely check it out if you haven't already. You'll be crying of laughter. I'm literally the main character in this book.

So that is my Cosy Christmas Night In. I don't really do anything exciting and I don't even need to wrap any presents because they are all done. I love getting things done on time haha!

How do you have nice cosy nights in? Whether it's Christmas or just a normal evening?
Hugs and Kisses

Hey everyone! So today I thought that I would show you how I've decorated my house for Christmas. I thought it was about time to do this post as I have been seeing them float around in the blogosphere since the end of December and with only 3 days to go I thought it was about time!

Up first is of course the Christmas Tree. This tree has been in my house every Christmas for as long as I can remember. I absolutely love getting it out of the shed every single year, putting it together and adding the decorations and lights to it. It isn't in the worst condition but it isn't in the best either. I didn't stand back far enough but the top of the tree where the angel/star sits is a little bit floppy. We have an angel on there at the moment and it looks like she's going to fall off all the time! Probably going to be time for a new tree soon.

Above are some of my favourite Christmas decorations. The purple bauble and the tartan ones were actually bought from Poundland two days ago. They each come in a pack of two and I think they look so Christmassy and pretty! Considering most of our Christmas decorations are red I thought the purple ones added a nice little touch! The blue decoration with the snow man on I've had since I was a very little girl and it is very special to me so I love having that there and I just love the gold sparkle on the bell.

My mum buys these flowers from Tesco every single year and I think they add such a festive touch to any room in the house. The colours are so vibrant and beautiful and just really add a touch of color to a room. We have them in the kitchen, near the fire place, in my bedroom and in my brothers room as well. They are just so pretty!

The fire place is my favourite bit of my house at Christmas. It just looks so beautiful and festive with the garland around it. Again this has been in my house for absolute years. We have had a lot of work done to our house and this fire place is actually pretty new. It's only been in my house for 5 or so years but I absolutely love it. I think it looks so classy and cool. The blue twinkling lights just make the whole garland look incredibly beautiful and then beneath that mine and my brother's stocking are hung up. I completely forgot to photograph this but on the grey stand on the right hand side of this picture we have a small nativity set with Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus. It's such a beautiful display and looks really nice when it is lit up. I'll try adding a photo to this post tomorrow so check back if you'd like to see it.

No fire place would be complete without stockings. Or so you would think anyway. We never had stockings when we were younger and I have no idea why. My parents just weren't that into it however they both decided to finally do them last year and we put them back up this year. I absolutely love them. My mum is struggling for things to put in them though and chocolates and sweets are out of the question! I've just told her maybe DVDs and a couple of beauty bits and bobs. They aren't that big so she won't really be able to fit in a lot.

The final festive touch are these cushions which I have had since I was a very young girl. I absolutely love how Christmassy they are and I love the little scenes on them with the family around the tree on Christmas Eve and then having Christmas Lunch on Christmas Day. They are pretty special to me and I have them on my bed or on the sofa in my room every single year.

So there we have it. All my decorations for Christmas 2014! Hopefully I'll experiment more with decorations in 2015 and buy some for my room and whatnot but I absolutely love how my house is looking at the moment. I am not looking forward to taking them down on the 7th January. Everything will look so plain and boring!
